happybunnypony- Dont be worried first time mums feel movements later then mums who have already had bubs, first time mums normally feel movements at 20 weeks but can be anywhere from 17 or later then 20.

Just to add to Kayangel - until 16-17 weeks, your uterus should still be sitting inside your pelvis, so it would be very unlikely (but obviosuly not impossible as the above people have experienced) that you'd feel anything (and hence why after that you'll notice a huge bump all of a sudden as all that supportive muscle and bone girdle is no longer the dominant feature...also why a blow/fall/whatever to the stomach isn't an issue until then as everything is very well protected)

I haven't either HBP - and I'm nearly 18 weeks (and 2nd bub, so that throws that out of the water). Last time for me it started off with really simple odd feelings that felt like little bubbles popping - I remember DH was away on a school camp and I wasn't sure what it was...was kind of cool when I asked my ob and realised that that was the very beginning of movement :goodvibes:

I felt the bubba move and told me Dr the other day and he said "Oh, that's early! But it's good" I am a bit over 18 weeks.

I think I can feel it because the baby is veeeeery active, every single appointment I have with my Dr when he checks up with his US machine he is amazed by how wriggly the baby is!!!!

I read in 'What to expect when you're expecting' that if you are a slimmer girl that you may feel it earlier which I think is a load of cr@p because I am CHUBBY!!!
And in 'Up the Duff' it says you probably CAN feel your bubba move, but you just think you need to do a fart or something LOL.

With these needles that i inject into my stomach, they leave bruises.. i felt sienna kick one of the bruises and the lady confirmed it while doing the ultrasound... that bubba was in that spot as i said i was about 16 weeks...

Don't worry Kayla, you'll feel bubs soon enough. And it won't be long before you wish bubs would just STOP MOVING so you can get a good nights sleep

I'm 14 weeks and haven't felt anything yet. I didn't feel anything until about 21 weeks with Isaac though - found out at the 20 week ultrasound that the placenta was in front of bubs, so was hiding the movement. I'm not too worried, bubby will give me a good kick one of these days to let me know it's still in there :D

although i havnt felt any 'kicks' or 'movement' yet, i can feel where bub is now sitting. bub has started to move up a little bit higher and i can tell what side bub is on if not in the middle of my uterus. :) cant wait til i feel real movement though... but i can wait for the strong painful kicks later on in pregnancy. haha cant we all.
