I sit on the fence when it comes to CC, but what exactly is it- besides letting your baby cry. I am running out of ideas to help my son sleep.
My son only sleeps 45min naps during the day, I try to resettle him in the cot and by picking him up. He is sooooo tired!!
I would dearly love him to sleep 1.5hrs. Can I let him cry when he wakes up from his 45min? How long do I let him cry for? What if the crying increses in intensity?? How long should I persist, coz I think I'm gonna find it hard letting my little man cry.
He is not the best of sleepers at anytime- he needs to be wrapped and rocked/swayed in my arms to sleep, I can't put him down awake or eveny drowsy in the cot. He doesn't fall asleep in his pram either- even though he id dead tired!!
The only success I have had is when driving in the car, and I can't comfort him. He screams and carries on for 20-30mins and then finally falls asleep. Is this what is suppost to happen?
Any suggestions appreciated:)
