Upset over bottle feed

I know this is going to sound crazy but I go into work 1 day a week (only for a few hours, I have my own business) and mum looks after DD and DS. They miss there lunch time breastfeed but I usually do a catch up feed when I get back at around 2.30pm. (they have lots of solids and water etc)DD has 1 bottle of formula while Im away if she needs to but DS will not touch it. Anyway yesterday when I got back mum said "Great news, he drank the formula" I was not so pleased! WHY??? I know its only 1 feed once a week. Cant work out my feelings on this one.:confused:

Hmm,not sure if this is what you are feeling,but if I had to give my DD formula,even just once a week,and she ended up liking it,I'd be worried that she would end up refusing the breast,and I'd be sad about that as I enjoy breastfeeding.....maybe that has something to do with how you are feeling,that your son might eventually refuse the breast because he enjoys formula more???

I suppose thats it, also the fact that Im really not enjoying leaving them as well. I dont get any other support or help with them (DH runs our two shops and works quite long hours) so I suppose its just always been me and them through most of the days. Ive just gotten used to that and like it that way.

I know how you feel,I've always been the one to look after DD,no one has ever babysat her,as I don't like leaving her,and thats the way I like it.
