Hi Jaclyn

Are you checking your temperatures and Cervical Mucus? I've found its best to use a variety of charting methods as the ferning/ovulation tests never work for me even though blood tests confirm i am ovulating. I am able to rely on my mucus and temperatures though.

As long as you see watery or egg white mucus you should be BDing. Sperm can live for up to 5 days in fertile mucus and it is best to have lots waiting for when the egg is released. Once the egg is released it only survives for up to 24 hours, so my gyno says to BD every day or every second day from 5 days before O, to the day after O.

Hope this helps.

Start BDing like bunnies!! it sounds like you are very close to O, my CM starts off watery, then turns to EWCM just before to just after o.

Good luck!!

I never get anything more than partial ferning when i use it!!

The directions say when you see full ferning, you are ovulating, only partial ferning and you haven't yet ovulated (but should have sex because the fertile mucus will keep the sperm alive ready for the egg is released)
