Hello!
I've tried looking through the threads for this one. Not sure where to put it; it's a doozy!

I gave birth just over 10 weeks ago and noticed 'down there' that I can feel my cervix in the vaginal entrance! (sorry if TMI! :o ) (It's normally inside a fair way (pre-birth).) I was worried it was a prolapse, but I've seen the Ob said it's normal to hang like that and it will go back to the way it was. But I wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen and if so how long did it take to go back to normal? I'm so scared about having sex because where will it go and will it hurt?!

Any advice would be great! :p Thanks in advance!

You poor thing!!! Sounds like a prolapse to me, but then again, I'm not a doctor...

If you are really concerned, then maybe you should consult another gyn...

Dont panic. Mine is the same. A bit freaky when you first feel it-as I did at about 5wks post birth. I've had a checkup and the dr said all was well.

Phew! Thanks for letting me know! I agree, I don't think it will ever be normal again, but the body is an amazing thing isn't it! It's healing abilities are phenomenal!

Go the pelvic floors! :smiliedance: Lol!
