Questions about Maybe baby?

Hey there,

I am fairly new to using Maybe baby so excuse me if i sound stupid :o

I am bf ds and ttc so i know that it may not work but im willing to give it a go,and hope to god that it works.

Here are my questions

1.How much saliva do you put in the microscope?I have been putting a dab on my finger and then transferring it to the microscope.Is this right?

2.I have tested the last 2 days have not had anything to eat for 3 hrs before testing then when i put the saliva and waited 10 minutes then i looked the the scope and there were clear bubbles on it and one tiny black pebble does this mean there is not enough saliva?I have just finished af too.

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated :thumbsup:

I have a Maybe Baby, and first tip I have is to use it in the morning just as you get up, it gives the most accurate results. I tried day and night, and the night was always different (probably because of eating etc..)

1st question, yes i just put a dab of saliva on my finger then onto the microscope. I find if you get the saliva from under your tongue, its less likely to have air bubbles. :thumbsup:

2nd question, it sounds like pebbles, my pebbles look sort of like little bubbles too. When you get an air bubble you can tell because its huge (like 1/4 size of the microscope when you look down) and they are clear in the middle with darker edges, and you can tell they are round not flat (if that makes sense???) So it sounds like you are doing it right, maybe just try in the morning, with saliva under the tongue, and see if its different. Try to put enough saliva on so it covers the whole tip but not so it spills over. I usually use the equivellent of about 2 drops of saliva. But just try different amounts, see how the results vary. I tend to get ferns on the edges alot, and the ferns get bigger when i O, it can be to do with how much oestrogen is present in your body normally.

Good luck, you will get used to it, but you can always use OPK as well to confirm. I hope this helps. :xmas:

Used Maybe Baby as well and I also used the saliva under my tongue first thing in the morning and found the best result. I used my finger to put it on the glass and used enough to cover so it was wet but not too much that it takes more than 5-10 mins to dry. I fell pregnant first time with the Maybe Baby, as in first month I used it and it worked despite having PCOS which can cause issues. GOOD LUCK! Will be crossing everything and sending baby dust

:iagree: maybe baby is good but its even better if you use with with other signs of ovulation such as opk test.

You might need to kinda wip your finger under your tongue area and wipe the saliva across the glass on the maybe baby and if there is too much wipe the excess off gently.. that's what I did and it worked for me
