Hi! Can anyone share their ideas on things to eat that are healthy but will make you smile instead of making you groan? Thank you!

Hi there Rainbowbrite,

Just wondering whether the healthy food is for you or baby?

Not sure yet on baby healthy food - still got a way to go for that. But for healthy food for adults I have some ideas:

Calfornian rolls - if you don't like seaweed, have rice paper instead.

Carrot sticks with some yummy low fat Tzaziki dip.

Stirfrys are always good.

As for baby, I think anything you make youself would be quite healthy, as long as you don't add anything extra.

Lots of healthy stuff can be yum.

Natalie. :)

I find strawberries make me happy! Exp if you have them with a cocolate gnache or fondue. :-)

Chocolate and potato chips make me happy too, but they are not healthy!

I've had a really depressed day today (mid month hormones I think) and Ive eated...corn chips/chocolate for breakfast. Chocolate for morning snack/ chocolate for mid morning snack/ packet of chips for lunch/ chocolate for early afternoon snack....and I have another chocolate waiting in the wings for later.

All up, I'm feeling much happier, even though I know I'm going to PAY for the next week! :)

I know when I need to get happy, nothing beats a banana and nutella sandwich!!! Don't they say nutella is healthy on the TV advertisements??!!!
You get the healthiness of the banana and the naughtiness of the chocolate combined. I think I'll have one now....(not that I need to get happy!!)

"They" say that when you are craving chocolate your body is actually crying out for potassium so a "healthy" banana should get rid of the craving and is better (debate-able) for you!! I have tried it a couple of times and it works but it just isn't the same comfy feeling as having chocolate :).

Hmmm, what are they called in Oz... ice lollies? On a hot day, a frozen treat is always good and if you get the ones with fruit juice in them you can even pretend you're being healthy.

Hi there Rainbowbrite,

:)

Just a quick message to say that i didn't write it. Someone stole my name :p

Just my 2 cents. I'm now 35 weeks and have found that I have craved healthy foods from about 20weeks. Guess my body just knows what it wants

Yum! banana on toast or a bowl of cereal is pretty healthy (unless it's fruit loops or coco pops but even then it would be like eating chocolate but not quite as bad!) :D

Hey there,

Sorry for the confusion, must not have read the post correctly.

Nothing intentional.

Natalie. :)
