That is a really good question (which sorry i can't answer) but i wondered the same last month because my temps wouldn't really pinpoint definate ovulation, but i had fertile mucus.

anybody
I'm not 100% sure on that either, but what I can tell you is that this cycle I had 3 days of really good EWCM and had no positives on my OPK, but I ended up getting a BFP! So, for me the EWCM was a sure sign of ovulation.

I've given up on mucus and cervix charting.
To me they are about the same most of the time. I have SHOW cervix one week on, then it seems like it comes back a few days later etc. Cervical mucus is more around Im guessing o' time but its soooooo confusing!

It is more likely that you will ovulate than not.
A billings consultant helped me pinpoint when I was actually ovulating and it resulted in conception of baby #2.
Highly recommended

Its ONE sign of ovulation, but not THE sign, if that makes sense. Yes, you can get ewcm without o'ing, and you can O without ewcm....so it needs to be "read" within the context of other fertility signs as well....I would suggest using opks or temping to ensure you are in fact o'ing, if there is any questions. Most likely you are tho... Good luck! :)
