Ok DD1 is nearly 7 months old now and Im still not sure whats going on with her.
Last night she woke for a feed practically every hour. Some of the feeds were decent and some were more snack feeding. No settling techniques worked as I tried everything! I was an absoloute mess this morning and she had a little sleep till 8am (2 hrs above norm). Shes only just gone down for her nap now!!! its 1.12pm (shes been awake for over 5 hours!). Shes been on solids for a while now and is eating everything I give her.

If this is teething related then I certainly hope it passes real quickly because I honestly thought last night was the last straw and that Im giving up on the breast feeding. she already has 2 teeth.

Shes started chomping me yesterday which has added to my stress too. Its bad enough having to deal with a baby that constantly wakes for night feeds let alone a baby that refuses to sleep during the day!

DH cant really do anything and all I end up doing is crying. Its soooo stressful being a mum!

Have you tried dragging her into bed with you? Lots of times they just want to be close to you. I would much prefer to drift off to sleep with a happy baby guzzling at my boob, than be up that time of night. Just a thought :)

Hi Moonblossom, thanks for responding.
Ive tried co sleeping in the morning say at 5am when DH is about to wake to go to work. He picks her up and pops her into bed with me and shes asleep within twenty minutes sometimes instantly.
I havent given it a thought to try it at other times during the night though. I might give that a go also next time I lose my sanity again!
Thank u

Im starting to think to get rid of her wrap too. My MIL was shocked that I still wrap her and sometimes I do find it a battle wrapping bubs. Maybe I should just follow her cues and not wrap her and see how that works. At the moment her hands and legs are flying everywhere!
