Mummy and daughter seeking new playmates

Does anyone have family or friends with young children that live in the North Rockhampton area of Kawana. My husband and I have just relocated from the Gold Coast, and whilst he is busy working in the mines, my 18 month old daughter and I are missing someone to play with. Especially as I come from a Long Day Care work environment. Any play groups in my area? I am a stay at home mum.

I live in Yeppoon, but I don't mind coming out to Rocky. We might be moving to Rocky next month..I would also love to catch up. I have a ds who's 20 months old and a dd who's 4.5months old.

There are a couple of playgroups in rocky, one of them is in the church next to spotlight. I think they're on every wed. Or we could also meet up at crazy jokers

How about meeting up after Easter at Crazy Joker? We started going to the Wednesday playgroup beside Spotlight. Lovely mums and kids, but my little one didn't settle in well. I will replace the playgroup with Crazy Joker...perhaps a couple of mornings or arvos a week?

That sounds great! I read a flyer at Crazy jokers last time I was there, there is a musical playgroup, but it only goes for half an hour I think..

just thought i would say hi, I have just recently moved back to Gracemere after living in Emerald for 6months i have a DS 18months and expecting #2 in August, my partner is working away for a while longer and my son and i are missing our playdate that we had out in Emerald, there is quite a few playgroups listed on the playgroup australia web site but the Gracemere one is full and its only 5mins into rocky anyway so if you are still looking for some more people to catch up with i would love some new friends for my son and i.

Thankyou for welcoming us, i am available any day as i just spend every day at home with bub or just at parks or shopping i do have my first antenatal appointment on the 16th april for bub #2 and thats it.

Hi guys.. Hope you don't mind me popping in but I was looking through the net for my playgroups websites to fix and found this thread so thought I would let you know that if you want to meet some new people we are here. I moved to Rocky 12 mths ago and knew no one.. hated it.. until I started playgroup and now I have made some wonderful friends and actually get to socialise.. and somehow managed to be contact person this year .. :doh:I know how depressing feeling isolated can be.. especially with young Kids.. I have 3 boys 5 and under. And I so love a chat and missed it desperately.. :) Anyway if you want to meet up or get some details than please feel free to give me a yell.. Sorry girls, for my lack of communication...We have been busy playing with Daddy over Easter, and now are about to head off on a holiday to see Granny and Poppy for a couple of weeks. Will keep in touch soon.

You guys tee up a day to meet and we will join you when we are back in our routine at home.
