Birthday presents on the day or at party...?

IF your having a party for your children do you give them their pressies on the day of the party or the actual day of their birthday...?

and what about adults?

I tend to want to give pressies the day of the "party" unless the actual birthday is before the party date.... But for adults I like to wait until their actual birthDAY...

Am I making any sense at all???

I'm the opposite. I give adults a present at their party and Ruby on her birthday. I figure that she has enough to open at a party, and will appreciate my present more if she isn't getting anything else :laughing:

I always try to give pressies on the actual birthday, unless I know that I wont be able to see them on the day.. That applies for children and adults..

I think both adults and children should get something on the day but leave the main special stuff for the party.You still need to make the day special for them.

Our own children we give them on their bday, same for adults in the family etc.
