Skye has her milk at room temp (I put the water in the bottles then just add the formula when needed as I leave the bottles of water out) I don't heat the bottles up unless they've been in the fridge (just to take away the chill). Skye is fine with this and drinks a full bottle but my SIL was telling me that I should heat the bottles and that will stop her from bringing up so much wind (the girls are at SIL and BILs til Thursday and she has been heating her bottles and told me because of that she doesn't chuck her milk and have lots of wind) Is it true? Should I start heating the bottles or what?

DD was reflux baby and no matter what temp the bottle was it made no difference..
I prefer the room temp though and stayed with it as it makes life just that little bit easier, no need to warm when out and ready to go at any time.

I suppose you could just try a warmer bottle and see if it helps?

I think Sarah was probably a bit older than yours baby when she started on formula/toddler milk - at she was 12 months.

I never heated her bottle, it was always at room temperature and she was fine with it. She didn't know any better I suppose! It made going out much, much easier - I never had to worry about finding somewhere to heat the bottles. She's never had a problem with reflux though.

It's only now that she's on regular cows milk that we warm it. It's funny, she loves water and juice ice cold, but she prefers milk at least at room temperature unless there's absolutely no alternative :)

yeah the reason I don't heat them is coz if we are out I don't have to worry about finding a microwave or whatever.
