Hey Mummies,
I feel like I'm constantly struggling with my 6 month old son.
He is crying and whinging alot of the time and I feel like I'm losing control.
Is anyone else struggling around this age??

HI Jelly Belly. I am sorry to say I cannot sympathise with you. But I know my sister can. Her daughter is now 8 months and at around the 6 month mark her daughter became a real handful. If it is really getting you down, maybe speak to your health nurse.

Are they teething???
Sienna is a good baby, a bit sad some time because of her teeth.. yet im pregnant again so i feel like sleeping some times yet she is awake... overall a happy bub...
Aw jelly, I'd go see the nurse or the gp. Annalise had a shocker of a week a couple of weeks ago, she wouldn't stop whinging. She was teething tho, the top two came through. I'd go get you and bubs quickly checked, could be something small just making him a little bit cranky, and it feels like you're losing control. I'm sure you're doing a great job :hugs:
Hi Jelly Belly,
Boy do I hear ya!!! I was going to start a thread about my 7 month old, and then I read your post.
DS has become a massive whinger. It has happened recently over the last week or two. It seems that everything has become a huge struggle. He screams when I change his nappy, he sreams when I bathe him. He screams when I change his clothes, he screams when he finishes his bottle. He screams when I walk into a room, he screams when I walk out of a room. He screams and screams and screams.......(I think you get the picture):hair:
Heres hoping that things get better for the both of us, and our little cherubs quickly grow out of this delightful phase:fingerscrossed:

Hey,
I know how you feel hun, it can be so frustrating and tiring for us and the poor lil bubs dont know what to do with themselves, they cant tell us whats wrong but they expect us to make it better!
Could he/she be teething?
Myabe he/she just getting bored and frustrated? At thay age they want to do more but cant always make thier body do what they want!
My second bub is much easier going than my first but boy does he have a temper when he want too! He is 4months and just started to get frsutrated in the floor, trying to move etc and he is teething so he is a real grump at times.
All i can suggest is to take some time out for yourself to unwind. Get someone to watch bub while you have a nice bath or go out for the arvo, bub will also prob settle more for a different face and voice.
Good luck, you will get through it and you have so much to look forward too, its a great age.

I was like this with dd 2 and my sister had a hard time with her son aswell.
I think it helps to speak to a gp/chn and find one that will listen and help you. :hugs:
