Anyone on Brisbane southside looking to start play group

Hi I am looking to start a play group for any 20 something mums out there. I live in underwood/woodridge area, Brisbane and have a 7 month old son.

I am a 23 yr old, first time mum,and getting a lil sick of making baby food and playing with blocks while on hols from uni!!

I would love to meet some like minded mums who like to have fun, have a laugh and have also remembered that we still have names and aren't just mums!! :smiliedance:

Don't get me wrong, I love my bubs more than I could ever describe, but I would really like some young mum company. All my friends dont have kids and I just want a bit of adult conversation!!

Modays, Wednesday and fridays are best for us.. could possibly make other days depending on times/locations but would only have one kid.

I have a car so transport is not an issue.

How does a friday morning sound?
Does anyone know of any child friendly parks with lots of shade for the little ones around the area. I can supply lots of blankets for them to play on!

Also trains and buses run pretty regularly around here too. (woodridge/underwood)

What about Mott park at Holland Park or Glinderman park at Mt. Gravatt. They are both on logan rd so they have plenty of buses running past reguarly.
There is a park at sunnybank just behind the train station.. not too sure what it is like but easy to access for those relying on trains.

Im 21 and have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, and im at greenbank :) Its nice to get some more playgroups over this way.

I know of a couple of big parks... Theres a few around the browns plains area which has transport, theres one or two around the woodridge area, and ofcourse a few other big ones scattered around the place.

Fridays would be great for me, but im avaliable most days, just not until a certain time on some :)

I'm in Upper Coomera,But go to tafe in Loganlea,also my parents are in Kingston so as you can imagine I'm over that way quite a bit.Would dearly love to meet some other young mums as none of my closest friends have kids yet (I'm 22 with a 4yr old little girl) Anyone got any more room for another friend?
