Expat mums living in Brisbane?

Hi there

I am interested to find out if there are m/any mums out there who are not 'local' to Brisbane?

I have lived overseas for the past 2.5 years and survived on the help of other women and mothers, usually other expats and some local women.

Its my intention to find other women who may need some assistance to settle in and become familiar with their new home. Its not easy, especially with children.

It was always my intended to volunteer at an international womens group aimed at expats when I came back home, but so far I haven't found any, but I am certain that there are expats out there somewhere though??

Hi Winie,

I will shortly be an ex-pat mum living in Brisbane! We land on the 7th of November :yelclap:.
I have an 8 month old baby boy called Henry, and he comes with his own special quirks! Unfortunately he has a milk allergy, and is even allergic to some of the hypo-allergenic milks that were prescribed for him here in the UK. We finally found one that agrees wonderfully with him called Cow&Gate Pepti Junior...do you have any idea if this is available in Australia? I know it's available in the USA, so fingers crossed.
