Good Morning Everyone :wave:

We are having our photos done today :smiliedance: and I'm getting really excited about having them done.

The only problem is it's poring with rain :rain: and we are supposed to have them done at the park!!

The photographer just rang and DP said we can use the meeting room at the fire station - hopefully we won't have a fire truck as the background, that would be too much for a family portrait!

How exciting! Family photos are great, i was suprised to know how many people have them done this time of the year. We are having ours in 2 weeks time. Touchwood that they turn out beautifully and there isnt a fire truck to be seen!

We ended up having the photos taken at the park because it stayed nice but then started raining just as they had finished!

The guys were there for about 1.5 hours and took endless photos of the kids. We had a couple taken of the four of us but mostly it was the kids playing on the equipment at the park. We also had some taken at the beach which should turn out nicely.

The photos (proof sheet and disc) should be here early next week and they are going to bring the package ones up cos we are getting them to frame them and I don't trust Australia Post with fragile items.

We had our photos done by Jamie Barnes Photography. Sonya (Thadsmum) told me about them so I booked in.

We found them to be really good. They traveled up to Orford to do them and they were really good with the kids. It was expensive to get them done but you end up with a CD of all the photos taken plus the package of 9 photos (2xA5, 2xA4, 5x4x6). They are pretty good with the photos in the package too, they offered to swap the 4x6 photos for a A3 which suits us better.

When I get the CD from them I'm going to put some on my profile.

We got our photo disc back today and now I've got the job of going through and finding 10 that I like for them to print up for me. They ended up taking around 300 photos but only like 179.

I've put a post in the photos part if anyone wants to look at some of them...
