big bunch of confusion

ok this will be a long one but i need some help:babydust2: :)
ok i was on the pill called "levlen" and it was making me bleed non stop.. the doc told me if i take 4 one day, 3 the next day, 2 the next day, and one everyday from then on then the bleeding will stop... well the bleeding stopped for a few days then started again.. so i repeated the docs instructions.. and again it stopped for a cpl of days.. so for the next 2 weeks i just took 2/3 pills a day just to get a break from the bleeding (silly i know but i was really fed up...)
then i stopped taking the pill(on a wednesday and i started gettin my period) went to docs again(on the friday) and he gave me a trial pack of 'yasmin' (one months worth)..
so i started on yasmin on that saturday and my period stopped fully on the sunday...
yasmin has been working fine for me and i havnt bled at all... but i am at the end of the one month pill packet and i am due for my period tomorrow.. but i am conviced i am pregnant! i went to docs this morning and he did a test but it showed up neg' but he said i need to give it a week cos its probly too early.. i am having soo many symptoms of pregnancy.ie.. feeling really sik:barf:
.. cant stand the smell of lots of things, very very tired and constantly having that horrible heartburn thing...
has anyone ever fell pregnant on the pill? and if i am pregnant how do i calculate my due date cos i cant really tell wen my last real period was... i am so confused.. but a lil excited too hehe

I'm pregnant now but I was on the mini pill (Microlut) when it happened. I had similar things to you. Very erratic bleeding and I probably bled for 3 weeks out of a month but then not have bleeding at all for 2 or 3 months. It really mucked my body around. I had a suspicion that I was pregnant so I stopped taking the pill straight away until I was able to get a blood test to confirm. The only way I could work out a date was to get a dating scan as soon as I found out and I was 9 weeks then. We were really shocked as our youngest will turn 9 next week but we are now really excited. We had our ultrasound last week and everything seems to be healthy and working properly. No one has really given us a straight forward answer as to what effects the pill can have on the baby.
Go back and get another test like the doc advised and good luck with your results

hey sweetie i found out im pregnant with number #2 today i think u should go buy a home pregnancy test from the shop get a 3 pack or something and do 1 if neg wait 3 day do another ect they are so much easier to see a bfp then a docs one 1 was 12weeks wiht #1 when the doc could pick it up on a test i was #4 weeks when i picked it up so yea keep us up to date goodluck xoxox

It's possible to get pregnant on the Pill, but also, many people have terrible side-effects from the pill.

The Pill shouldn't be taken during prengancy either, so if you suspect you are pregnant, you may want to stop taking the Pill.
