Hi, I had my son on saturday morning, so 6 days ago. My uterus contracted very fast afterwards and I was in intense pain for 2 days after I had him. The pain was similar to the contractions I had during labour with DS. Since then the bleeding had slowed down a lot and when I have my two home visits from the midwife I asked her if it was normal to have the amount of blood that would require one pad per day-if that, she told me that was normal as my uterus contracted so hard and fast after the birth.
Anywho it is now day 6 and i have had NO bleeding today. Im not having cramping or anything like that and my tummy is only tender when I push in really hard onto it but i figure that is normal after giving birth 6 days ago. When I had DD the bleeding completely stopped towards the end of the second week. My question is is this normal? or if not normal is this ok? should i head in to see a doctor?
