Changing to Filtered Water.

I've done a quick search and couldn't find much.

I was wondering when people stop boiling their water? I would like to start using our filtered water. The water here makes me sick if it's not filtered, so i'm worried it's hurting my DS if it's only boiled and not filtered. I don't want to have to do both, so i thought i'd just change to filtered.

I have friends that used filtered only from 6 months on. I figured that my DS is starting to put a lot in his mouth anyways....

I still sterilize.

i boil cobys water and he is almost 12 months but that is just habit!

when the kettle has just been boiled and he needs water i give him filtered water and he has been fine...

i think its ok but im no expert.. just talking from experience... someone else might be able to give you reported advice on this!

I gave DS tap water from about 6mths...not all the time tho, only if he was screaming and the jug had just been boiled...I was very disorganised some days :o

I'd say filtered water would be fine, I guess you can only try it and see how bub goes.

I have just started giving DD filtered water and she is fine. It is your decision just just the sterilising of bottles ;)
