I know this sounds silly but DD1 is only six months and Im thinking of getting her a potty just to try every now and then. Lately shes been getting fussy during breast feeding and I pop her up on the change table and say poo poo and she does it. DH thinks it has to be a coincidence but I dont know! Shes done it 4 times this week after me saying it. Has anyone tried a potty on their baby at this age as she can sit upright now. Ive saved on a few nappies already catching her when she sort of has to go!

What do u mums think?

you should goggle 'ECing' I think it stands for elimination communication. Basically it is a philosophy of no nappies pretty much from birth:thumbsup:

I have put DD on the potty since about 6 months, when her bath has been run, the running water makes her wee and sometimes poo. Keep it up you never know...

Good luck:fingerscrossed:

Hi, just wanted to let you know you can get a Baby Bjorn Little Potty which is a better size for little bums - when they are so little the bigger ones can be uncomfortable for them. Hard to find them in shops though - I got mine off the net.

I think it's a great idea  You are obviously reading her cues and responding to them. I am sure bubs would prefer not to go in a nappy IYKWIM. Good to get to it now before she can run away too :D
