I am feeling extremely anxious - I have two and a half weeks till my due date and baby is still transverse. There is not a lot of chance that it will get into the right position as I have a bicornuate (sp) uterus and apparently the shape makes it very hard for baby to get into a good position.

My last baby was transverse also and from 37 weeks I was hospitalised as they said it was risky if my waters broke that the cord would prolapse and the baby would come down on it cutting off oxygen supply and could result in brain damage or death. That was six years ago and I ended up having a c-section a week before my due date, and it was all very uneventful in the end.

Well, this time for some reason, with exactly the same symptoms etc, I have been told not to worry and they have booked me in for another c-section the day after my due date:banghead:

I have contacted my GP today and said that I am not happy - He contacted the OB and I have another appointment to see him on Monday to discuss my options

Hi there!

I don't really have any advice, except you know your body so trust what you feel.

I wouldn't wait until monday I would be phoning the ob and demanding he speak with you. Around here in situations similar to this they usually book cs in for 2 weeks before due date, just to make sure.

Hope everything works out for you. Good luck!!!
