Anyone work in a male dominated industry?

I'm going back to work on Monday for the first time in 14+ months. Full time (vehicle painter)

I haven't worked in the industry (or at all) since being a Mum. Not really sure how i'll go, already feel abit..... meh :(

I have a different 'energy' that before.

I work in a male dominated industry (but it is office type work). I have always been pleasantly surprised with how accomodating my male bosses (who haven't had children) have been to a whole range of things (working part time hours that suit me, working from home, taking sick days to look after sick children).

Hopefully they will treat you just fine (which is, of course, what you deserve).

Nats, firstly congrats on the new job, I'm sure you'll be fabulous, and you know what.....

There's nothing like a friendly female face to brighten up a blokes day.

You will be a complete hit, you know your stuff so you'll get respect, you are not a complete tool like half your industry and you are a nice friendly down to earth person.

Stop having a stress attack.

My day today, well um went out on site and had my ear chatted off by the foreman, all the boys said hi and I got some eye candy. Lucky me to work with blokes.
