hi sisters baby... well toddler now lol. Grow to fast. 18months. Anyway shes having a bit of a problem he screams for his bottle only thing he is having 8bottles a day. With 3 meals a day too. Including yoghurt and cheese. they have recently tricked him into halfing the amount of milk and adding water but thats still 800mls of milk. (full cream)

So im just wondering (and so is she) is this too much calcium or is this the norm? He has nearly all his teeth so could he be growing or just testing his mother at what he can get? (hes a prem bub if thats any help)

Also im trying to help with suggestions but with my ds only 13months i dont know... any suggestions with babies that age.

(toddlers i mean sorry)

That's a good question! My 18mth is the opposite. I can only get him to have maybe 150ml first thing in the morning, 80ml before an afternoon sleep, and maybe 200ml at night (if i am lucky).
Just wondering if he is having plenty of water to drink (out of a seperate bottle during the day). I know that this would fill him up more before having a bottle. Is he eating meals before the bottles? if he is having the bottle offered first maybe switch it so he is offered food first and if he is still hungry after the food & water go the bottle??
All i know is whenever you want an 18mth old to do something they do the opposite!!!aarrgghh lol!

As i am not a medical specialist i can't comment on calcium intakes, but all i can say is he knows what he wants, i just may be not what we think!
Anyway hope this has been some help or comfort! Keep Smiling:)
