Hi,
rest rest and more rest and listen to your body. I finished work at 5 months and put my feet up, and floated about in our pool. I know its not practical for everyone but I carried my twins full term and Im sure its because I was stress free, happy and well rested.
How far are you?

Congratulations on your pregnancy and i am deeply sorry for the loss of your other twins, there is nothing worse, but thankfully good news has come back into your life. I gave birth to twin boys 4 months ago, its alot of hard work but when they start to get to this age its fantastic. I am bottle feeding as i have found it easier and i can put them on a triangular pillow and feed them that way.

You will be going through double the nappies and feeding twice as much, it may sound overwhelming but you will get used to it.

I am loving being a mum to twins and because i am a first time mum i didnt know any better.

Also look into joining the Australian Multiple Births Assoc they are such a great support group and you get to meet other parents with Multiples in your district.

There website is www.amba.org.au

Feel free to ask me any questions

Hi Allie T

I wish you all the best with your prenancy. I have 13 month old twin boys. I personally found things initially very hard (not really sure what i was expecting). Thankfully my mother gave me alot of help as both boys had colic when we come home from hospital. All i can say is enjoy your pregnancy and rest alot. Try and have a network of family and friends (if possible) lined up to help with things when you get home, this will help you adjust to your new situation and you won't feel so alone.

All the best.:fingerscrossed:

Hi there Allie

There is not much that I can say except that I am sorry for your loss but feel comforted that you have been "chosen" as a special twin Mum again.

Your Babies will be looking on from heaven and I am sure they will do everything they can to protect their future little siblings in there!!

Try to relax and not to stress too much lovie :) I know easier said than done :)

You will find many people in your situation to talk to in the Aust Multiple Birth Site above :)

Hope to chat to you more and hope your going well

Haylie

Hi,

So sorry for the loss of your sons. My son was also stillborn at full term last year and no reason was found as to why. I am currently pg with monochorionic twins (13 weeks) and am so scared of everything that can go wrong. I just feel like I couldn't even get a low risk pg. right, and now I am faced with a high risk one so there is no way it is going to work.
Do you know what type of twins you are having? How far along are you?
Hope you are feeling well and if you ever need to stress about anything I am here.

Sally
