I'm having a bit of a bad day today. I've just been so tired the past few days. i was like this with DS too, but now, of course, i have DS to deal with as well.

Usually i get out of the house and wear him out and then we can have a relaxing afternoon. but today has been wet, and a lot of our friends are sick and i dont have a car today... the excuses are endless.

What i would really like is for someone to come and take DS for a day or two while i can sleep, watch dvds and do nothing in particular.
god, i feel like such a mean nasty mummy, and what a whinger!

Tomorrow is a new day :fingerscrossed:

Your not a whinger, or a mean Mummy!! Its ok to feel like this, its normal and i went through (hey, still going through!) the same thing. It is very tiring being pregnant and looking after a toddler and you really do have to make the most of your alone time and rest as much as you can (easier said than done, i know).
Maybe look forward to running a nice bath for yourself tonight and relax for awhile, but your right, tomorrow is a new day and hopefully things will be better for you..

Guess what happened! When i wrote that first post DS had just been jumping on the coffee table, which he knows he shouldnt be doing.

Anyway i was so fed up that i took him to his room and put him in his cot so that i could have 5minutes to go to the loo by myself and have a quick vent. By the time i'd posted, he'd fallen asleep!! So, i had a nap too, and now i've prepared dinner and hes only just starting to wake!

I swear, everytime i think i am at breaking point, a guardian angle steps in to save the day

lucky you..
i know exactly how you feel, my DD is 17months and a handful, i have no family close by to take her for the night either, and to make matters worse my DH has gone overseas for work and wont be back until the 30th!

tell your angel to come and give me a visit, i could use her help...

we all have days like this, just have to keep going, and take it all as it comes.
