Hi Ladies,
Just wondering if anyone could help me with this.
My son is currently 8 weeks old. I called a clinic today (Dr Dilley) in Sydney and was told that the doctor would only do the procedure for baby not more than 6 weeks due to risk of bleeding.
Thereafter, the baby needs to be 6 months - but it will be done in the hospital not clinic like how it would be done for 6 weeks baby.
I asked the lady who attended my call if it's done in the hospital, how would it be..would it be like my baby be under general anaestetic and not local - I just want to know if there's any difference between the procedure done in hospital & clinic ya see..
But she just answered -
"For 6months we cannot do it in the clinic but have to do it in the hospital and it would be the same for all doctors here (I assumed she meant in Sydney), and hospital you can't claimed from health fund".
Anyone could help me with this?
Thank you in advance!:hugs:
Cheers.
