Hi All. I'm a 21 year old mother of a beautiful baby girl. Becuase I'm smack bag between the two 'groups of mums' (young and 30's) i'm finding it hard to meet other mums and make friends. All my old friends have disappeared (nappies are scary apparently) and I'm struggling to make new ones and most people my age already have plenty of people in their lives :gloomy: So if your interested i'd love to chat to anyone! Firstly, Noah'smama i did ask lovngmotheract if her name was Alisha as i didn;t understand what she meant in her post, but that's cool! I love seeing different ways of spelling her name! Plus it's good to know people's names, make it a bit more personal.

2nd Kirbyd87, I know! Cool stuff, freakier is it's also my dad's birthday! This year my dad was 50, i was 21 and alisha was 2. when alisha turns 21 i'll be turning 40! Big birthdays to share!!!

Yeah there probably are heaps of 'in between' mums and mums who dont care what age other mums are i just seem to live ina cacoon and am unable to break out into the greater community and meet people. Hopefully bubhub, my new job and the possibility of hubby getting a new job will introduce us to some new people who are willing to make a new friend :) :D

You know, I miss going to work, and miss being surrounded by adults!

But I love staying at home and looking after my son, its such a wonderful experience, but if I could, I would love to go back to work sometime soon.

When are the concerts? I wanna take Raza, I think he would love it, as he loves watching the wiggles on television!

wiggles is onthe 19th december at the ais arena. i believe you can get tickets through tickatek if there is any left. Myfellow mum pal bought them on my behalf so i'mnot sure.

Hi 5 is on 9 december tickets through tickatek! i bought some in the pre sale. We love hi 5 and wiggles! And dora the explorer! My 2 year old is speaking english and spanish!

and to think i thought she had a disability or learning difficulty! She didn't do a whole lot of anything til 11 months (including crawling and rolling over) and didn't walk til 16 months. We had heaps of hospital trips with asthma and asthma related illnesses so i think it really effected her gross motor skills being confind to bed on oxygen machines or having to keep quite as too much play would lead to an attack. but she's doing so well now! let me know if/where you get tickets!!!

Im Kim and i have a 21 month old little boy and myself, hubby and DS live in Canberra..

if you check out the melb section you will find loads of mummies in your area to catch up with and show you around..

hey. im danielle, 25, 2 boys aged 3 and 18 months. you should come along to one of the meets, normally in a park so the kids can play and less stress. you can sit and take a load off, enjoy the sun and have a chat.

Awesome! well then you know what im going through with random weather lol..
Its horrible.. specially when its hot, and its only going to get hotter and hotter!! haha not looking forward to summer.. deffinatly looking forward to the 5th of feb though!!!

oh trust me so far you got it pretty good, when i was preg from oct it started at 27 and the temp got to 40 by feb, and i was living in a house with no air conditioning and not insulation!!
