Im not due till sept but i really want to BF again last time my supply didnt feel like it was thick enough for my son (DS2) he grew fine but had a bottle before bed otherwise he wouldnt settle, i also tryed expressing after every feed but it didnt do much and he also feed every 2 hours (he was a big boy lol)

I was wondering if anyone had tryed any meds to help build the supply up a little more if so what does it do i would like some information

also is there anything i can do before bubs is born to help the supply come through better once bubs is born (im only 12 weeks and sometimes i have slighty wet nipples so im hoping this is a good sign)

i really want to BF as i couldnt with DS1 he was premmie and i felt ripped off and even though i had a bad time with DS2 i REALLY want to try for this bub

any help out there

TIA kylie-anne xox

Seriously TALK TO THE ABA!!!! They will answer all your questions. FWIW, breastmilk is thinner in consistency than BMS, so it will always seem thin if you are used to seeing cows milk or BMS. Feeding every two hours is perfectly normal, babies are not clocks! And the more you feed, the more milk you make, that is the wonder and beauty of the female body..

Hi Kylie-ann,
I can only second what Natalie has said - join the ABA, and join now!! There are things you can do to improve your supply, herbs etc, but the most important thing is to get support.

Good luck!! You can do it, it's obvious that you want to do it and that's half the battle I think!!:hugs:
