Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for an Xmas pressie for my wife. We have had our first bub earlier in the year, and she is feeling frumpy, so I don't want to get her clothes cos she is trying to lose weight. The only idea she has really given me is to give her money for a dress for a wedding in January. Only problem is she has access to my money anyway, so thats not really a gift. Can u help please? Thanks.:fingerscrossed:

Maybe a nice pair of earrings or something? That always makes me feel good! Or a nice bottle of perfume? Something that doesn't remind her of her post-baby body, but still makes her feel good.
the best thing my DH could have got me would have been
a massage!! seriously, buy her a massage voucher and babysit bub so she can enjoy it :D

I think a massage and also a facial
Follow this up with a dinner and sleepover at a nice hotel while baby is babysat o/n (if at all possible)
Flowers etc would be nice touches too - maybe in the room...including a card with a romantic poem (not necessarily one you have written also that would be cute!)
I would go for a pamper day maybe? My bub is due on the 14th November and that is what I will be asking for!!
Her favourite baby pic printed onto a stretched canvas!

A pamper package is what i would have said. I would love this present just a day to myself to be treated.
FAcial, pedicure, manicure, massage.

hi there,if you haven't had any professional photos done recently of bub, what about sneaking off and getting a photo of the two of you done? They would probably come back just in time? Or if that's too expensive, get a friend to help out and take some special shots of you and bub, and put them in a collage frame.Anything sentimental that my husband does for me gets me everytime!

I agree with something to make her feel good about her. I facial or massage or a lovely bottle of perfume or just the time for a haircut and colour. I wouldve killed for some me time after DS was born!!

Before you organise to take her away somewhere and find a babysitter for bubs I would actually check to see if she is comfortable with that.
I know that personally, my DS is almost 12 months old and I still refuse to leave him with anyone.
I'd just hate for you to plan a wonderful weekend away for her to say 'no i dont want to leave the baby'

 I agree!
A voucher to outdoor cinemas ( with open date to organise babysitting ). A handmade voucher from you with a 'menu' for the picnic ( that you will put together ) - entree / mains and dessert. A nice bottle of champagne etc.
Sometimes it's nice to just have something that is well thought of.
Good luck
