Airport transfers - Cairns

We're flying into Cairns for a quick holiday, and I'm trying to find an airport transfer company that will provide a child restraint for my 8 month old daughter. The only ones I can find online are limo services and are v expensive.

If anyone has any ideas, I would be very grateful. Cheers.

Hi, when we went to Cairns, I found the same. We ended up using the limo service from the airport and then hiring a car for a day with a car seat for the trip back to the airport. I couldn't find any taxi companies that have child seats.

Another option might be to take the car seat with you, cumbersome but probably cheaper, you could put it in the taxi and check it in with the luggage on the plane.

I have managed to find a company through a friend, called "Beach Meet and Greet". They have a mini bus with a child seat up the back, so it will be perfect. Couldn't find them through a google search though, which was weird, but went direct to their website when I got the link.
