Hi this is totally new for me but we have been trying since March this year (about 8 months) during that time I have been visited by AF 5 times and my husband has been wondering y I was worried about it.
I first seen my Gyn last month and as of Monday she has placed me on Clomid. I have to say I feel a little strange about it. I have been reading information about it and when to start taking it. I was told at day 14 I was told to start taking Clomid.
Any one with the same type of experience?
Thanks for any advice

Hiya.
Can you double/triple check about starting Clomid on day 14. I think its dangerous to take Clomid that close to ovulation. Well thats what I always got told..
Clomid normally starts on day 2,3,4 or 5.
All the best for you.

We used Clomid to assist with conceiving DS and we too were told to start taking it on day 5. I would be phoning your doctor to double-check.
Yep I would be checking up on that first too.
It should be from day 1,2,3,4 or 5 for your first clomid pill.

I haven't heard of anyone taking Clomid from CD14:no: and agree that it could be problematic. Although, when I took my first dose as I hadn't had a AF for over 90 days, I was told to start treatment with Clomid straight away. I didn't have any problems, but I wouldn't do it without advice from your Gyno/OB, or FS.

I have been having blood tests (day 9 and 14) to check for ov but when i called up to get results i was told to start clomid. I go back in 4 weeks so i am guessing she will explain then. but i also have to go back on monday to have another blood test.
I am sure i didn't ov this time and i can tell if i do, so my specialist is probably trying to make me ov.
Thanks
Susan
