'I would just put lansinol (sp?) on her lips - very little .. but warm it first between your fingers and it spreads easily. Since I stopped feeding I use all my lansinol on my lips  works REALLY well - especially if you put it on before sleep

Thanks Veve i wasnt sure if it was safe to use i have been contemplating doing that all day LOL sad huh? I use it on my lips too its the best stuff
my thoughts are if you can put in on the boob - and NOT wipe it off before a feed - it must be ok .. at least in the short term
hope the lips are better soon ..

Yeah thats what i was thinking it cant hurt her if shes actually feeding from it directly fingers crossed it works last thing i need is cracked lips attacking cracked nipples better i have it than her
one of the many joys of feeding .. sigh .. not fun ..
it still makes me laugh that sunshine is supposed to be the best thing for cracked nipples - yeah .. umm .. I'm going to lie in the back yard with my top off .. I'm sure the high school kids walking past (I back onto a park) would be thrilled
good luck .. I cant think of anything MORE basic to use on a bubba's face .. it should work :fingerscrossed:

just a thought...dry lips can be a sign that bubs is slightly dehydrated. Perhaps offer water more often?
