I can't even remember what we had:o
My brother and SIL had cool table decorations though, they had samurai fighting fish in little fish bowls with candles, they looked so HOT!!
Oooh yummo!!!!
I don't want to spend too much as we're having around 100 guests(EEP!).
My idea was to have cupcakes in clear boxes(as we're having a cupcake tower for our cake, so I'd make a display one and then everyone would already have theirs boxed to take home) and also have silver photo frames as place cards that they can take home.
BUT...then one of my besties just started doing those Names on a grain of Rice, and she can do keychains that will have our name and wedding date on it.

i am having little clear pillow boxes with the word love frosted on them all over. inside i have put 4 heart shaped chocolates wrapped in purple and silver foil (they are our colours) i have heaps of the chocolates to use as table scatters too (we will be having a few small children and i was a bit worried about the little foil ones being eaten). all up and including the extra chocolates it probably cost me $120 for 100 people.

I had little champagne flutes filled with blue and white jelly beans and done up in tulle and ribbon.
It was very cheap, cost me under $100 to make 100 and i got all the stuff i needed on ebay!

We burnt CDs with songs that meant something special to us and had our parents pick one each as well. We then had the front of the CD printed with a picture of the two of us kissing from our engagement. Brilliant and hardly cost us anything at all.

We had silver wishbones from spotlight with ribbon tied around the bottom of them
we made white & milk choc sheep from a mould and put them in coloured bags with a fortune cookie-
the fortune cookies were very popular (we live/work on a sheep station)
my husband and I had a lot of fun making the chocs and putting the bags together- they were pretty inexpensive too

We are having our bomboniere and place cards all in one. We're having these big clear boxes that have the plave card in it, thank u note on the back on the place card and under is is 5 sugared almonds and 3 foiled heart chocolates.
We had a lolly buffet instead of bonbonniere - it was expensive, but everyone loved it.
I bought 14kg of different lollies in the same 2 colours (pink and white) - we had foil covered hearts, kool mints, marshmallows, mini musks, tiny little meringues, etc, put them in different sized and shaped glass bowls and then bought small clear lolly bags and little heart stickers to seal them. People got to help themselves.
Lots of fun. (and friends have copied it since!)

we had little cream boxes, with the sugar almonds in them tied with a burgandy bow. also had our names and the date of the wedding.
For the bridesmaids, groomsmen and both of our parents, we had bottles of wine, but with a special label with our wedding details on it.

Hi
Could someone please give me advice. I'm having a wedding in Noosa in April and want to have a lolly buffet/candy bar. Can you tell me how much candy I'll need for 80 people? And does anyone know where I can hire/obtain the jars? Thanks!

We got the foil wrapped heartshapped chocolates from Darell Lee.
We had Gold, and Forest Green as our colours, so we got the hearts in gold. They were only about 20c each at the time, and put one for each guest with their place card.
Everyone commented how nice they were. And it was a cheap form of Bonbonniere for us on our tight budget!

I think bonboneires are so overrated nowadays, but we had them anyway: we made a personalised wedding cd (our fave songs dedicated to each other), with our engagement pic on the cover of the cd and a 'thankyou for being part of our special day' message on the inside of the cover, and everyone got a copy on their table.
