that is so bizare - my mum's mid name is anne, sis's mid is jade, DF surname is anthony, BIL mid name is drew and other BIL(d)name is Jason(nicknamed Jayse)

before i had Indy, i was set on Kailey .. which can be spelt soo many diff ways. i dont really know what made me change.

Aurora and Willow were two of the girl names we were considering when I was first pregnant!
Found out part way thru that it was a boy, so that crushed that idea... still had them on the 'just incase its a girl' list though...!

I like the more uncommon names although since naming my children, their names are becoming more and more popular. I am yet to find children with the same names as my children, who are older then my children, so if you know of any, please let me know. I will be very interested.

Aiden Paul William (Paul William is his deceased grandfathers name and william is also his dads middle name. He was his grandfathers first grandchild.)

Angelique Debra (Debra is her grandmothers first name)

Brady James (James is the surname of a person who I was very close to growing up who is now deceased)

Both my husband and I chose these names together, although it was me who suggested the first names of the boys, and my husband who suggested our daughters first name.

but i couldnt help but add my 2 cents worth! :)

I only have 5 weeks left today, and my DP and I were having trouble finding names for our little girl... there were arguments, hissy-fits (on both parts), and cold shoulders... I wanted Brooklyn or Ahrianna... And he wanted Kayleigh or Zoe. Kayleigh was fine for me...but im not too keen on Zoe... Long story there... and he snubbed the names i like altogether... It was sooo frustrating, i nearly choked him...

So in the end, we decided on a name that would work... it took me a while to get used to it, but now im lovin it...i had never heard it before, until my DP said it! He had his heart set on it, so i said it over and over again in my head until it sounded great... Im lovin it right now! lol...Turns out its the name of one of his "cubs"(hes a cub scout leader) and he loves it! Weve kept it a secret for a while, but in the end, he told a few people, i told a few people and now were starting to tell everyone!!!! The name we decided on was....

TAMRYN (pronounced tam rin) KAYLEIGH LOUISE.....

Id love to hear what all you mums and mums-to-be think.... dont tip toe around it...be perfectly honest....

I think you have picked a lovely name. My boss's daughter is called Tamryn and I think its sweet, but I also have a friend called Kaylee and one called Louise so I like those names too!!
Its funny, Zoe was what DH & I referred to bubs while I was pregnant and in the last few weeks, we went right off the name.
Choosing names is so hard in itself, and even harder when you and your other half can't agree!! I think you have picked a lovely name that is still quite unique.

Good luck in your last few weeks of pregnancy and the birth, you'll be cuddling your new little girl before you know it!!
