SOOO Stuck for a lunch idea. . .

I'm having a friend over for lunch today and I'm TOTALLY at a loss as to what to make for lunch. Can't exactly serve her up vegemite sandwiches now can I! :laughing:

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
As a last resort I'm going to make a chicken pie with a bbq chicken and a side salad.

For dessert I'm making a warm apple cake with apricot glaze (and a little cream!) :D

Probably one of the easiest things to do with a BBQ cicken would be a Caeser Salad and they are always yummy!!

Quiche
Mini sausage rolls
Chicken salad with caesar dressing

Mmmm yummy! Some good ideas! Caesar salad is my favourite but I think the kids would eat the stir fry rice :rolleyes: .

It's quite cold here today so maybe even some pumpkin soup with some crusty bread and maybe make some mini quiches or something?

ETA: Jeclipse - the apple cake is SO darn easy to make and it's just LUSH eaten warm, straight out of the oven! :chef: :thumbsup:
