I am 14+ weeks preggie and I already feel fat. the scales suggest that I've gained between 3 and 4 kg only, but the change in body shape, extra cellulite etc is definitely visible and has me down in the dumps.

What did you do during your pregnancy to keep your weight under control? What form of exercise is considered safe/acceptable? Any tips for a mum-in-need...

I stuck on a low GI eating plan, and it's now five weeks after baby was born, and I wore pre-pregnancy trousers yesterday, even if they were a tad tighter than I would have liked.

I whacked on 30 kg with #2, so this is a pleasant change for me after #3.

Exersise is safe when preg as long as you have no probs in pregnancy, You can go to the gym instructors are qualified to help you.
try walking for cardio and you can do light weights in Melb there is a exercise class called preggie bellies have a look on their web page also joining aqua aerobics is a great way to keep in shape its fun and weightless great for the cellulite too

Keep moving!
I think that's the key and don't indulge too often.
With my first I gained a lot of weight and this time round I'm doing very well. I put it down to not indulging in my milk obsession and constantly moving (I have an active toddler). I am making sure I do exercise everyday also.;)
Try not to worry about it too much though, there is always time after the baby is born to stress about your weight.
