love the pics of your bubba jess! She is a cutie!!
Well have a goodnight girls.
It's a public holiday tomorrow in melbourne:smiliedance: so we are having a li'l race party should be fun:party:
Shakyla is being a bit sooky this arvo which isn't helpful when I am trying to bake. Bubs is having a bit of a growth spurt so I guess she wants that extra milk to come in:hugs: It's nice to hold her but she had to pick my baking tiome. I would've put it off but I already had a batch of biscuits in the oven:rolleyes: !
Anyway gotta put the next batch in and try to get bubs to sleep!
Hello Ladies!
Things were pretty hectic here yesterday after the girls got home from school. Marieanne had girl guides at 3:30 and I sat at home with Kira helping her with her homework when my sister rang to ask me to pick up her kids from after school care. I didn't end up having to do that as they all just walked home with the oldest girl. She had also asked me to get her youngest from daycare and bring her back here till she was ready for bed. In the end the 3 youngest ones stayed here overnight and the oldest stayed home to help mum as she has tonsilitis. On top of that her FIL was flown to Cairns in the helicopter as he had internal bleeding. So in the end after getting dinner and bed and everything ready I did not sit down for more than a minute until about 9 when all the kids were finally in bed. I then went to bed at about 10 as I knew I would have to get up earlier than usual to make sure that they all were ready for school in time.
Shilo - Hope you got that baking done with not to much trouble from Shakyla.
Jess and Steph - Hope you both had great birthdays.
Julie - How is your eye doing? Better I hope. Glad to hear the Zeke is doing well with sleeping in his cot now. Hope Xavier hasn't gotten to sick and is feeling better now.
Jess - Keleya is just gorgous.
Monique - Hope you and Tyran get over the flu very soon.
wannabemum - Glad Malik is doing better. :fingerscrossed: that nights get a little better for you all very soon.
Tj - I have used the Lavender bedtime bath on both Bryce and Bailey and they seem to be fine with it. Not doubting that what you have said is true though and now knowing that will keep a very close eye on the symptoms u have said.
Boymum - Happy belated Birthday to Connor. And hope both the kidlets are feeling better by now.
mumzdaword - Wtg to Hayley.
Anyways I am off Bailey is going a little nuts he has been awake since 6:30 and is ready to go back to sleep again.

Hi Ladies!
Sorry haven't been on much, kinda keeping to myself a little when i'm not feeling so happy. Don't wanna just whinge at you all the time!
Anyway, i have finally got some pics up of my Brothers little girl...
Aaliyah just born (http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m29/mumma_jessy/P1000147_1.gif)
Aaliyah, Wynter, me & my mum (http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m29/mumma_jessy/P1000168.gif)
Aaliyah (http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m29/mumma_jessy/DSCN4994.gif)
Was so nice to hold a tiny one again, and even though Wynter is still small for her age she all of a sudden seemed like a monster compared to tiny little Aaliyah! She was born 7LB 14OZ, so a fair bit bigger than Wynter, but already i can't beleive Wynter was smaller than that once!
Wynter is good, still not rolling, guess she's happy to just lay there most of the time, a very relaxed bubba. VERY chatty though always talking and squeeling, has just started to aim well with her hand when she wants to get something, hits it every time, not grasping too much just yet though.
happybirthday to Steph & Jess!
No time for pesonals today sorry, off to the Dr again!

mj your niece is gorgeous. My nieces name is Aaliyah pronounced~ 'A liar' how is your nieces pronounced?
toni Sounds like your busy busy!
TJ I searched lavender and babies breasts and I found a small article about tea tree oil and lavender but the research was inconclusive. It was also research on baby boys/ boys/ men. I would be interested in the link:thumbsup: DS idn't use bedtime bath but he had breast lumps all of them have had mild lump due to the hormones of feeding. All of there lumps were clear after 10weeks.
Anywoo I have to finish feeding bubs and then go to the shops:wave:
 Ladies! Sorry I havent been in here the last few days. Got the flu, achy joints, sore throat and feeling sorry for myself:gloomy:
A little better today but but better today than yesterday. DH had to stay home and look after me and the boys yesterday.
Will do personals later on this arvo when I get a chance.
Brissy girls- have fun at your cup day meet, im so jealous!
Oh Leanne, hoping you feel better soonish!
It sux feeling ill, especially when its been soo hot as well.
Shilo and Toni - here is one of the MANY sites i was looking at
http://www.news-medical.net/?id=29526
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/63421.php
Google the following words and there is plenty:
gynecomastia
lavender
bloch
if you dont feel that the studies that have been done are adequate then by all means keep using it, you know your children best.
I personally am steering clear.
There was also a story on either Today Tonight or A Current Affair just before L was born - so early July i suppose, but i cant find anything on either of their websites.

Tj~ thanks for the links. You said it was about babies and you couldn't use it on babies for "x" amount of time. I was just interested in that because I can't find anything on that. I think it's like your link said "uncommon" but if it comes up in my boy all we need to do is stop using the product. I will keep that information on hand!
Oh also tj if you could find any australian links that would be great. Thanks for the info!
leanne~ Not good about the flu!! It's hard keeping up with bubs and a toddler I bet your :hair: Hope your on the mend!!

Hi everyone... I survived the gym today... didnt work as hard today as what i do in the classes. We turned up for body pump but it was cancelled :(.
Anyway im starting to feel alot healthier than i did 6 wks ago... so something must be working for me... finally lol.
So did anyone put a bet on for the big race? I picked number 5!! So jealous of all the girls who are going out to celebrate the big race... hope u all have a fab time though!!
MJ- Your neice is absoloutly gorgeous!!!
Toni- You sound like a super mum... i hope you take the time this weekend to relax and treat yourself!
Gave Keleya some solids today... dont think shes that keen on pumpkin... she loves any type of fruit puree though... has anyone else started solids yet??
Well the race is on soon so i better get going. take care all xx
Hi again!
Tj - Thank you for that info. very interesting.
Leanne - Hope your feeling better soon.
Jessy - Aaliyah is gorgous.
Jess - Glad your feeling better than you did 6 weeks ago. I did start Bailey on farex for about a week a couple of weeks ago as he was going through a tin of formula in 6 days. I stopped after about a week as he was dinking the same amount of milk as he was before I started him on the farex.
I tried my hand at making a

I cant find anthing now about X amount of time either, i could have possibly read it in a parenting mag, or even the news paper. Possibly online im not 100% sure, i just recall reading it.
I dont see how it matters if the links are Australian or not, if you want aussie ones feel free to just google for Australian sites.
Either way for me regardless of where the studies were done and how inconclusive they might be, even if there is a slight chance it could cause it in my baby, im steering clear.
Better to be safe than sorry IMO.
Tis a shame as it smells so lovely.
Im not having a dig at you for using it, and dont shoot me for bringing it up, it was just something i once read, i just wouldnt want you exposing your kids to it if it can cause damage.

Ok tj no worries! I know your not having a dig I was just going to show paediatrician any info I could find and ask her. I know she won't even look at anything from overseas sites.:) Thats ok I will stick to using it as I haven't had the problems with it.
Toni what did you try making lol!!
Jess I haven't started shakyla on solids yet just bf her 100%
lol stupid conputer decided it wanted to restart after it installed norton updates so I hit submit reply so I did not have to retype it all when it restarted.
I got to upload pics so will show you all what I made in a few minutes.

Yes I hate norton but I got it for free it's driving me crazy
Ok here we go.
I tried my hand at doing some sewing today it has been so long I forgot what the sewing machine looked like lol.
Anyhow this is what I made after I put the boys down for there nap after lunch,

It did not take that long to sew. I think it took longer to cut out the material than it took to sew it lol.

I was curious to what everyone is getting the bubs for xmas???
Its so easy to buy for the older kids... but buying for keleya has been abit harder... so far i have gotten her toys which are recommended for 6m+. I havent brought clothes because she is just growing way to quick... wat size is everyone elses bubs in?? keleya is wearing size 0 target jeans and 00&0 target shirts.
I brought her a pair of billabong boardies which are size 0 but they are SO tight on her already!!!
So anyway i got distracted lol.... back to chrissy.... so yea the things i got so far are developmental toys... like hand eye coordination things and some noisy toys... i bet ill regret that one though lol!!!
Well better get some dinner hope to chat soon xx

toni the mcn looks amazing! so professional good job :yelclap:
tj thanks so much for looking up that info and posting it for us, i always find it so helpful being able to come on here and find lots of advice from all you mummies
duejuly i read in your post somewhere how big keleya is, and size 0 too tight wow what a lil chubba so cute! ive gone overboard with getting jayda every available contraption as it is so ill have to try get things for when she's in the 6-12 months bracket, development toys are a good idea  i do the chrisco payment plan for toysrus vouchers each year its great because the for the last three years i havent had to save for xmas pressies for tiana and friends kids, i get $700 of vouchers at the beginning of december that have been paid off all year
jules have fun with your sewing, good to see something you want didnt have to be sacrificed for dh for once, woo hoo!

Well I finished another nappy last night at midnight lol, only because I didnt get to start until after the kids had gone to bed, so by the time I cut out the nappy and fed bubs in between it was 12am *yawn* so tired!!
Leanne- Are you able to come to the meet at my place next week? I know you have been sick but if you are better and wanted to come just wondered what day suited you?? We were thinking Monday or Thursday next week?
Its raining it's pouring the old man is snoring and I cant get my blooming washing dry ( dont have a dryer):banghead: I have run out of nappies so am using sposies today! I am also dying to wash my sheets *sigh*

First of all...
HAPPY BELATED 21st BIRTHDAY STEPH and JESS!!!
mj - Aaliyah is gorgeous, congrats on being a new auntie!
Leanne - Hope you get back to 100% quickly, It seems that the Flu/ Gastro and School sores are on the go atm.
TJ - I also remember watching something about the baby bath wash on TV, i think it may have been one of those Today Tonight type shows.
lolly- you sounds like such an organised person during the xrissy period.
Julie- I know exactly how you feel, i rang DP last week to have a winge cos i had to go buy some sposies due to the huge nappy wash i had to do and they wouldn't dry in time for the little ones to wear.
So he came home with a dryer! It's only for emergencies though.
Would love to see your finished works of art!
Well since Thurs morn last week Jadah has been down with a really bad gastro bug.
We ended up taking her to the hosp on Fri night because she was nearly passing out on us due to the dehydration (she couldn't keep a sip of anything down) and she was so lethargic.
It was scary, she's only ever been sick for no more than a 24 hour period with anything she has had.
Luckily today she seems perky and didn't :barf: all over the tiles again this morning. She was begging for her formula yesterday morn and i didn't want to give her any as i was told 'no dairy' while she still has it, but thought it might be ok...i was wrong!
Nayte seem to be still suffering of a night time, im almost certain that he has silent reflux. So we have a Dr.s appt tomorrow, as well as getting his 4 monthly check-up.
Im also going to look for a childrens chiro to see if that makes a difference.
Going through that birth canal can usually pop a few bones in the back and neck outta place.:(
Last weekend i went to the Justin Timberlake concert.
It was amazing! I won't go on cos iv'e already talked about it too much...lol.
Going to my dads christmas work weekend again this year, every year a few hundred of his workmates in the social committee stay at these lovely villas. So that should be FUN!
"HELLOOO" to everyone else!!!!
Think that's about it..:D
Im now getting told to "ge pop puter mummy" ( translation "get off computer mummy")
Hello Ladies!
Ty everyone on the comments on the MCN. I made another 2 last night. 1 is the same as the one I showed you only it has a plain coloured lining. And this is the other 1.

Julie - Wtg on the little win you had on the Melbourne Cup. Gl with getting MCN's Made. I know it's hard with 2 little ones. Would love to see a pic of your MCN.
Jess - We have gotten Bailey a fisher price Brilliant Basics walker to wagon for xmas. They have had them at Woolworths for $30. I saw the exact same one in the ToysRUs catalogue for $30 but they were also $40 off so $70 when not on special. We are just getting all our kids something little this year and then giving them about $70 each and then they can pick what they want to buy with it.
lolly - love the idea of the vouchers might do something like that next year for the kids it's such a big expense when you have a big family.
Mel - Hope Jadah gets well soon. Good luck with doctors appointment with Nayte tomorrow. Have fun at dads xmas work weekend.
Well I am going to go do some more mending to get it out of the way and then make some more MCN's.

Well Ezekiel inadvertantly had his first try at solids
(and not just farex or pear either) tonight at not even 3 1/2 months old:eek: .
Xavier was having a tin of spaghetti for tea
(getti as he calls it) and bubs was playing on his playmat on the floor. Yep you know what happens next, I leave the room and comeback to see Xavier stuffing poor Zekes face with spaghetti!! It was up his nose and all!
I was mortified but tried not be too angry at Xav because he thought he was being kind in sharing his dinner.
Funnily enough Zeke thought it was great and had a huge grin on his face:rolleyes:
I hope it doesn't give him an upset tummy. He has been unsettled this evening and wont go down so maybe thats it?????????
Mel are you going to come to the Brissy meet next week?? I have PM'ed you! Poor Jadah what a nasty bug she had, I hope she is better tonight. Let us know how you go at Naytes appt tomorrow I hope something can be done, I have heard about Chiro for babies.

Hey girls! Just a quick one for now as the girls are still up
OMG Julz and Toni, i love your mcns! They are gorgeous! Oh and the models are even more gorgeous!:D How long does it take you to make one nappy? I so admire people who can sew. I did sewing at school and could not so if my life depended on it !!!!!
a belated happybirthday to Steph and Jess! hope you two were spolied rotten!
Mel, your poor bubbas, hope they are much much better very soon :hugs:
Julz, Xav is so considerate! Did you take a pic of Zeke with the sauce all over his face? Hey at least he didn't try to feed him paper!
Better go, Chloe is being destructive as usual, she is really making me :hair: I don't know what else to do with her. There is only so much I can do to keep her entertained and stimulated!

I was going to take a pic, but with all the panic of trying to clean it off him I forgot. It was all over the carpet too so I was frantically cleaning it before it stained:mad:
Should have aye, how funny oh well it is bound to happen again lol!
They are sooo full on at this age arent they, seem to need constant entertaining and attention, some days Xav follows me around all day jsut whinging for things, soooooooooo annoying:banghead:
Hi Ladies
I know its been a long time since visits, but I thought I would come in for a quick visit - DS1 has been up all night vomiting and he is now asleep on his lounge and DS2 will be up as soon as the sun is up so not much chance of getting sleep, but I thought I would do a quick drop in while I had the chance.
Firstly a BIG happybirthday to Jess and Steph!!! A little bit late Steph - hope you had a good day.
Elliot is going well, I have just gone back onto a normal diet after he had lactose intolrance for awhile. Was going to start weaning him onto formula today, but with DS3 being sick I might wait till things are ok. I was having a sticky beak in the photo thread the other day, and relise that this adorable boy of mine doesn't have many photos taken as his brothers did DS1. All your babies are so adorable, and I do love looking at the pictures and seeing how fast they are growing. DS3 seems to have filled out a bit more in the last week, plus he is long!! Taking after his uncle. He loves being on the floor, but doesn't get much chance due to his brothers wanting to jump all over him!!
Lil x-man I had to laugh at your DS1 trying to feed DS2 some dinner. Remind me of when DS1 try to feed DS2 some chocolate when he was only a few months old!!
Mel - hope your little ones are feeling better. Its so hard when they are sick like this. Trying to keep them hydrated and keeping the other little ones away.
BIG HUGS TO EVERYONE - miss you all...DS1 is awake, so off to see if I can get him to take a little bit more water.

Julie~ Don't you love it!! Children are just so sweet:yes: at least it sounds better than what my dd2 had as her first solids Maccas chips:eek: ! Thanks to her brother:shame:
Jkate So good to hear from you. YOu seem very busy. Would love to see a piccie of all your boys. I hope you get some:sleeping:  soon.
Hey Lovelies!
Now that Im on the mend and feeling a bit more human, Bailey has come down with the flu. Yesterday he had very high temps and barely ate just slept on couch all day long but today his temps down but he is moaning and groaning. Hope he comes good by the end of the day.
Well I have my dietician appt tomorrow! :fingerscrossed: for another 2kg loss! That would take me to around 57-58kgs!!!
happybirthday Steph and Jess! Hope you both got really spoiled and had fabulous days!
JKate- OMG great to hear from you hun! How is little E going? Bet he is getting big now! They grow so fast!
Julz- that is the best laugh Ive had all week! How cute is lil Xav, sharing with his lil bro! Cant wait to meet him! And how did Zeke go with, did he settle more after having some "getti"! Oh and how is your eye? You poor thing, that could have been alot worse, im so relieved to hear your sight is still ok:hugs:
Linda- I know what you mean about "Only so much you can do to keep them entertained" I know Bailey gets so bored somedays, poor lil man. He is getting alot of outdoor play equipment for his bday so hopefully thats the trick. He loves it outside.
Mel- Poor lil Jadah. How is she now hun? And with silent reflux it peaks around 4 months so its possible Nayte has it and its probably at its worst at the moment. Poor lil guy, reflux just sux. Are you going to Julz place on Monday! Would love to meet you!
Candy- How was race day? Did you and TJ win up big?!?!
Jeni- I checked out Talis mcn! Well done! Thats a fantastic job hun! You gonna have to teach me coz I cant sew:o Tali looks so cute in it! How is she going with her solids?
Jess- With baileys first xmas we went totally overboard and he didnt even know about it. Mind you he was only 5 weeks old. With Jordan he already has tonnes of stuff so Im not going overboard this year for him, I have a few developmental toys for him and a ball pit but mainly some clothes and stuff. Bailey is a different story LOL! He knows whats going on now so he wants santa to bring him lots!
TJ- OMG:eek: I have been using the lavendar baby bath and just finished a bottle of it. Wont be buying anymore. Thanks for the info hun!
Toni- Great job with the mcn!! Bailey looks great in it!
MJ- Aaliyah looks gorgeous! How do you pronounce it? Is it pronounced a-leah? or a-liah? A good friend of mine and she is also a bubhubber has a daughter called aleah such a beautiful name!
OMG what a long post this will be! I hope not to miss out and be offline for a few days again as this has taken ages LOL!

Hi Ladies!
Thoght I'd pop in and catch up ion how everyone is doing, a lot of sewing i see! I'm glad i made most of Wynters before she was bron, i've been meaning to make more but can't find any time to actually do it! Will post a pic of her wearing one later on, keep in mind they have now been used for 4 months though! Nappy (http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m29/mumma_jessy/DSCN5005.gif)
Aaliyah is pronounced aal-ee-yah, she is so cute will also post a better pic of her today too. She is doing well apparently, had a few bad nights but going ok now they say so thats good. Sounds like they are adjusting to parenthood preety well, so far! Aaliyah (http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m29/mumma_jessy/PB062470.gif)
Wynnie is good, got her weighed last week and she was 5.75kg, which is good for her, still a bit of a pip squeek but thats ok, she is definately healthy and happy. She has just started to hold her own bottle, clever bubba, not that i let her very often, but it's good for 2 mins if i'm trying to do 10 things at once! Bottle Holding! (http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m29/mumma_jessy/DSCN5014.gif)
Finished my Chrissy shopping yesterday (for the kids anyway) Didn't get too much for Wynter, just a few toys, lots of books and alittle bit of clothes. For her main pressie i bought her one of those bead thingos, you know coloured beads that slide along coloured wire? Oh and a really cute teddy, we always buy the kids a teddy at 6 months so they can bond with that when we take their dummy away (when they hit 6 months!)
Sorry no personals today DS needs to be picked up from kindy soon!

Hi girls!
Wow so much chatter today!:D
Lolly, I just remembered you said in a previous post that I hadn't pmed you re EC, I pmed you, Jules, and Leane. Didn't you guys get it?
Jkate! Hello!!!!!!! It's really good to hear from you. Glad your little men are wdoing well! We would love to see some pics of Elliot :D
JorBai :fingerscrossed: for more weightloss! Mine is taking forever and it's really getting me down. I'd resort to stricter measures than WW but I have to watch out as A is fully BF. I have to try and exercise more foten but it's so hard some days finding the time. By the end of the day I'm so knackered that I just can't seem to find any energy for exercise!
Monique :hugs: Hang in there hun, am sure you're little bubba is just fine! Don't know why but I just got a feeling of twins!! Let us know your results when you get them.
Well am finally sitting down to lunch at almost 3pm
MJ, wow you're organised! I'm going to do all my xmas shopping very soon, already bought DD1's present. Well one of them anyway, don't know what I'm going to get A?? BTW your niece is absolutely gorgeous!
ETsmum, you came to Perth and didn't tell me!:shame: J/k I know you must've been busy!
Well girls better go tidy up before the boobaholic wakes up !
Linda- im with you when it comes to finding the energy to exercise!
I do only have 2kg to get back to pre-baby weight, however thanks to the c-sec i have this nice extra bit of flabby skin that was never there previously!! NO matter how much i even try to suck it in its there!! BLERRGGHHH
ET's MUM - a big HELLO to you!
I was only thinking about you yesterday wondering where you had gotten to.
Monique - i hope the bleeding is anything serious, ill be thinking of you!!
Maybe you are having a slight bit of sympathy AF for me :p Mine arrived on Tuesday for the 1st time.
Jessy - you are good with all your chirssy shopping!!
And i love the nappy as well! Wynter is gorgeous i could just pinch her.
Definitly one of the prettier lil girls i have seen!!
Leanne - glad you are feeling better - sux being sick. Poor little Bailey - lots of TLC and hopefully he will come good.
Jkate - fancy seeing you back around this neck of the woods! I didnt catch you on MSN this morning
Sorry to hear about DS1 :( pack him up and send him to my place. And while your at it if DS2 is playing up ill have him as well.
Julie - thats classic about Xav - hah he THOUGHT he was doing the right thing.
Toni - your nappies look great as well.
I certainly dont have the patience.
Mel- i hope Jadah is on the mend by now.
Must have been scary for you.
And poor little Naytey!! Hopefully the doctor can get him sorted out, he might need some medication or something, or possibly you might have to give him some thickner - i know you can make it into a paste and then give it either before or after a BF.
Jess (dueinjuly) oh what a lil chubba bubba, her and Lochie would get along well, he is short and chubby as well - well not many rolls, but def looks solid.
I have bought a few things for Lochie, like the peek a boo blocks and balls, and one of those play table things - there is a few more things but to be honest i bought them all at the end of financial year toy sales before he was even born so i cant remember what else there is.
Not a hell of alot going on here.
Although Lochie hasnt been drinking much at all today or yesterday.
Today he would have had a max of 450-500mls. He is now in bed for the night. He normally has 5 bottles of 200mls each - so thats less than HALF what he normally would. He is still having wet nappies and pooing like normal, should i be worried at all?
He has been 'eating' his fist as well, so it could just be teeth?? Im not too sure??
Just a quicky while I have both children asleep.
Haven't been in much lately due to conjunctivitis, flu and high temps with DS and DD just getting over her last lot of conjunctivitis getting it back again from DS along with the flu. Then of course myself getting fluey and my DH, really nice household he,he. Should get shares in a tissue company.
Sorry no personals, just wanted to say I am still here and really hope to come on Monday Jules. Am going to be sure we are over all these buggies first though.
DS is now 2, poor little mite was sick for his Birthday (has been for over a week now) but still smiling and happy here and there. Thanks to you girls for wishing him a happy birthday last week really appreciate that :)
I will come back soon, going to curl up on the lounge now.
Don't worry about me though, I will be fine, hanging in there...it's just a cold/flu whatever, I am still happy.
Seeya.

Hi Ladies!
Hi girls sorry no time to chat am just heading off to bed, but wanted to say- MJ I got Zeke weighed today and he is only a pip squeak too especially being a boy he is still only 5.8kgs!!! I seriously thought he might have hit 6kgs by now but ahwell he'll catch up lol!!
He is the same weight Xav was at the same age so genetics play their part in his size. Like Wynter he is also a great feeder no probs there:thumbsup:
Ok nitey nite will chat VERY soon promise!
You ladies are so nice!! Just wanted to pop in and say that:D. Still very tired here, but all boys slept well last night- no one sick thank goodness, and DS1 is now back to his usual not sitting still self LOL.
And by popular demand :p here are some pics......

Jkate, aawwww your boys are gorgeous, Elliot has grown soooooooooo much! He looks so coot in his christening gown! When is his baptism? Ariane's is on 6 Jan and lil-xmen is making her a mcn so I have to take a pic of her in her gown to send to Julie so she can match the mcn to the dress, i'll post up a pic of her in it! :D
LD, try going to tribalbaby website. The website ends with a .org  can't type the link in here sorry! Let us know how you go! Speaking of elimination communication, today when A was nappy free I took her to the sink and held her and did the "psssss" noise and she weed!! She did this 3 times today and she's not even 4 months yet!!! Imagine I keep this up, she'll be starting to TT around 12 months I recon! I just give her a pee break after a feed, changing a nappy and I leave her nappy free most of the time she is awake. You gotta watch their face and learn the signs they make when they need to wee or poop!:D You'll understand it better once you've visited the website
Linda - EC is something i read up on whilst i was pregnant.
It was only the other day i bought a potty for L, as he poo's at the same time every morning, i was going to try sitting him on it.
I think i might start with the wee's every so often as well - hey it cant hurt, and it can only get messy huh!!
Although i wasnt sure if this was starting to early, but after doing some more googling - 3-4 months is the ideal age to start!
You will have to keep us in the loop of how its all going.
Jkate, i love your boys - but you already new that
:smiliedance: Oh i jumped on the scales this morning and i've lost 1kg! so that means 59kg now, 1 more away from pre-preg weight, and 4 down until i get back to what i was when we got married!! :smiliedance:

09-11-2007, 16:06
Well done TJ :smiliedance:you'll be back to at your pre marriage weight in no time! Did you notice that your weight started shifting quicker when your started Lockie on formula feeds as well? I don't know why I'm losing the weight so slow, I'm doing WW, and have even reduced my points allowance on my own accord  I have a feeling my body isn't letting go of all my flubber because I'm still fully BF.........gggrrrrrrrrrrr
Yep, why not give EC a go? If Lochie is pooing at the same time each day, def hold him on his potty. Sit behind it and hold him in it IYKWIM. Can't hurt him! Trust me it'll be worth it if it's going to save you full on TT later :hair: :D My mum used to tell me to do EC with Chloe, she did that with both my sis and I and we were TT by about 13/14 months, not nights ofcourse, but we were in undies during the day. I'll keep you posted on A's progress, let us know how little Lochie goes! Man he looks soooooooooo much like you now! He is so coote!:D

Hi guys,
I have had a hectic day as usual:D I took a friends little girl for the day so my friend could have a rest. My friend is pregnant with her 5th baby and she is finding this one the worse pregnancy. So I offered to take her dd to playgroup and then lunch etc afterwards. We had a great day but I also decided DS could skip his nap and go to bed early:hair: ;) Shakyla didn't sleep well as we were out all day so has just woken up from a decent nap.
So getting dinner and baths done required some bribing. I had to get dh to walk them down to get an icepole.
Anyway we have escaped sickness for about a month so I am happy!
Ok so
Lolly ~ I wish I looked that fit. I can't believe you have children. Very lucky!!
Cmdsmum~ I am going to jump in about the BF. I know people say you lose weight but you don't. I actually lose heaps of weight each time one of the kids weaned. My trainer said it's because the body is keeping hold of the fat stores incase of starvation:)
Anyway best be off and get my gorgeous bundles in bed before they are overtired and all my hard work goes out the window:D

09-11-2007, 17:17
OLT, ggrrrr I had a strong gut instinct that this was why my weightloss has slowed down! Which explains why when I was sick a couple of months back and barely ate food for a few days, I dropped a few ks, my body used my stored fat for an emergency
Have fun putting the kids to bed, you'll be able to spend some quality time with your DH tonight ;) :D
Back for personals LOL, a quick one though before shower time for the boys...
cmd'smum: Elliot's Baptism was on the 7 Oct, for a change we actually took the picture in his gown only a few days after his Baptims not like with DS1 and DS2 where it was about a month later!! LOL
Lollydove: All three boys are my husband!! Espically DS1 - scary when I look at photos of DH at the same age as DS1. Elliot though has darker and a lot more hair then the other did at that age.
OLT: What a busy day, have a nice relaxing night!
TJ: :smiliedance:
Thank you for all the lovely comments - will try to pop in more often.
Linda i wouldnt say it was any differnt really compared to BF or FF for me.
I was just watching what i was eating and exercising also.
Then there was a 3-4 week period where i was helping out at work and the exercise flew out the window.
Now that its all over and done with, i still havent been exercising.
I was going to say why not give the TF diet a go, but i dont think you are meant to while you are BF - then again talk to Steph (she has been on it) and they can adjust the plan so you are getting enough.
Ill let you know how the pooing on the potty goes, i was talking to one of hubby's aunty's about it yesterday actually and she said that "back in her day" that they all did EC - how ever it wasnt called that then.
And same thing, out of nappied by 14 months.

Cmdsmum Yep so sad, especially when people think your suppose to have weight falling of you:rolleyes: :p Makes it so hard as even working out plays with your milk making ti more acidy.
JKATE~ I forgot about your pics! Your boys are just gorgeous, I love the hair on bubba:D
Bit down at moment, no personals again sorry.
DD is seeming to have either sore throat with her cold or really bad reflux issues lately, can't tell.
I have been up with her the last few nights, last night being the worst....full on screaming and clawing at me with her fingers in pain....pulling off her bottle and just plain miserable for 75% of her day. She is sick with a cold/flu but no bad temps, she does have a tooth nearing break through, but not yet.
Ah well, just have to give it a few days and see how we go.
DS has been waking up too, with his temps and rashes and conjunctivitis issues.
Sorry, just feels better to let it out...DH hears enough of it all and helps out as much as he can.
Better go, dinner soon and need a wine he,he.
Seeya.
Oh Ange :hugs: sorry to hear you are doing it tough!
Blame it on the weather - its been a bit miserable lately as well.

:smiliedance: TJ on the weight loss! It feels so great doesnt it!!! Well done huni! And at least Ill be eating healthy on Monday too! We can support each other LOL! Oh and as for Lochie not taking his bottles, as you said he is having wet nappies so he should be fine. It sounds like a stage coz Jordan did that at 10 weeks and I was worried but now he is guzzling his bottles. Such a chubba!
Linda- Jordan sucks his fists like crazy too! It looks like he is trying to find his thumb! Might need to get him some rusks!
Monique- Hows things hun? I cant believe your gonna have another bub! How exciting! Maybe a little bro for Tyran!!!:D How is his flu? Bailey and I are much better now so hope you guys are too!
Jessy- Love the pics of Aaliyah she is adorable! And so is lil Wynter what a petite lil lady!!!
Well I might head to bed now! Sleep well lovelies:hugs:
Whoo hoo Leanne! Thats fantastic.
Whats your secret? Low carb, high protein??
Im hoping to lose 2kg come the end of this week, but i cant help it and jump on the scales mid week like i did this morning - i like to use it as motivation.
Ill talk to you about it more on monday - being sick probably helped shift some of it as well!

tj tali doing the same thing, it like she doesn't want it and was kinda freaking cause i though it was only her doing it, i'm getting a ****ed off with it cause she cracks off when i try to give it to her, but i know she needs it but it hard
Well girls Lochie did his first poo on the potty this morning.
He did it on the 2nd try!
Half way through his feed right on cue he starts farting away, so i have never ripped the nappy off so quick in my life to sit on the potty. He did a few more farts and thats it.
So nappy goes back on, and about 10 mins later, starts farting again so rip it off and sit him on there again. And YEP he did it!! Poo and Wee in the potty!!
Ill post some pics in a minute... well only of him sitting there not of what he did in it :p

Well done lachie:yelclap:
You girls doing ec must have a lot of time on your hands:p ;) I only do a bit of ecing. So at before 12mnths we put them on here and there but not strict. Good on you all for doing it. :)
Well done Lochie!!! Your a clever boy!!! I really should try the EC thing TJ but Jordan is not consistent with his poos. He just did a massive pooplosion:eek: Perhaps coz he has gone a few days between!
TJ- its low fat low sugar and diet is advised by a dietician. He recommends losing only 1kg a week for long term results. When I get to my goal I can incorporate normal foods back in if I maintain exercise and I shouldnt gain the weight back. I have been losing just over 1kg a week and he said thats ok but he prefers to see just 1kg. The 2.3kg loss was for the fortnight. But I have lost 3.7 kgs in 3 weeks.

Well done!! I wish I could follow that diet. My mum is a nutritionalist and personal trainer and thats what she tells me to do. I wish I would listen:o
Shilo- I know people probably think Yeah right but this is such an easy diet! I can still eat yummy food.
I can have spaghetti bolognaise just with no cheese and using Lean mince.
He tells me to keep bread in my diet and it can be white bread. Dont cut out all bread as when you go to eat it again you will find it very heavy. So I have 1slice toast for brekky with a boiled egg or vegemite or sometimes 1 tbsl baked beans.
For lunch I have ham and salad in a wrap or a sandwich or on its own with any meat.
For dinner I have a piece of lean meat grilled with salad or steamed vegies! I have spag bol once a week!
And I do a 30-40 min dance DVD every night or sometimes Pilates or a walk with my mum!
I have noticed amazing results in just 4 kgs. My clothes are fitting again and some too big!!!!
And I know that I will be at my goal before xmas. I have decided that 52kgs is a good weight and Dietician thinks 50kgs is too much weight loss. I will try post some pics to show you how you can change is just 3 short weeks. I feel great and even tho I still have 6kgs to my goal weight I feel much more confident to walk the streets!!!
If anyone needs any advice just PM me!

Leane, well done sweety!!!!!:yelclap: I'm seriously considering seeing a dietician too, how did you find yours?
Thanks ladies! I was super proud this morning.
Here is a pic

Linda - getting the pee in the sink and on cue will be much harder i think... where as with the poo im waiting for his sign which is easier to recognise than a wee signal.
Does A have particular signs you look for?
Leanne - your dietician sounds wonderful - bread and spag bog!! YYYUUUUMMMMMMOOO!!
and good on you for exercising every night as well.
I would love to see the before and after pics.
I have still been taking them on and off since L was born, i like to use them as motivation.
How much did you weigh before falling preg?
OLT - of course i have time on my hands, i only have the one "rat bag" to run after, where are most of you all have 2 or more.
Shhhh dont let hubby hear me say i have time... then i have no excuse as to why i havent mopped the floors yet:D

TJ, I started leaving A nappy free on her change mat and timed how long it took her to do a wee after a BF. so i rush her to the sink when it's time. It isn't the exact time every time ofcourse but appx. ofcourse I miss it sometimes but...........I also watch her face, she goes into a daze and goes quite! Lochie looks sooooooooo cute in that pic :D he looks so proud...tee hee!!!!
TJ- Firstly I love love love that pic of Lochie! Geez he is so cute!!!
I just had a look for some before pics but would you believe that because I cant find any, I must have been hiding away from the camera out of pics. I will keep searching and then get DH to take a current pic.
My weight before both boys was around 51-52kgs then after having Bailey I only got back to 57kgs but I must admit I didnt really try very hard. Then when Jordan was born after having him I didnt weigh myself altho I think I would have been around 64kgs. I started seeing dietician at 61.3kgs and I am now 58kgs in only 3 weeks. I will be at my goal weight by the week before xmas of 52kgs.
The good thing about dietician is that it works long term. He told me that once I get to my goal I can either cut out exercise and keep eating healthy or keep up my exercise and be more open with my diet. I have a friend that does it and OMG she looks fantastic still and I think she has started eating normal foods again. I will continue on the low fat choices but if I go out for lunch I will eat normal foods.
Sorry this is like a novel but I really swear by seeing a dietician! Well worth every cent!
Linda- Well done on the EC! Ariane is a little champion!!!

Candy I had one of those days last weekend, I cant handle alcohol like I used to was written off for a whole day I felt so ill!:barf:
Ok I have to whinge. I am NEVER doing groceries with the boys on my own again:banghead: Zeke was great he was in the babycarrirer quite content but Xavier decided as we walked up to woolies that he didn't want to go shopping in there (too boring I guess).
So he threw the biggest hissy fit you have ever seen, kicking screaming throwing himself around. Flopping down on the ground and deliberately banging his head. It didn't matter what I said he would not calm down and I was beginning to lose my cool. I was SO embarrassed, EVERYONE was staring at us grrrrrr!!Haven't they ever seen a child throw a tanty before?? Anyhoo, normally I would just pick him up and keep walking but coz I had Zeke on me it was impossible to pick up 'legs and arms flailing Xavier' so I literally had to drag him away while we went to the toilet to try and compose ourselves as I was almost having my own hissy fit by now too:o He has never made such a fuss in the shops before it really was indesribely over the top bad behaviour I am soo tired what a draining trip to the shops, never again:hair:
I wish we had daylight saving s so he wouldnt wake so early in the morning, he wakes up far too early and then is ridiculously tired and cranky all day ( he's napping now thank goodness). Man 2.5yr olds are a challenge I tell you.
Ok be back after I have to unpack the groceries that are still sitting on the floor in the kitchen!

oh jules huni i can completely relate to that one, it must be the age huh tiana did the same thing when she's was 2 and a half, but she screamed at walkers by to "help me please help me" when i was trying to hold on to her and pick her up off the floor, then she went sprinting away from me through the shopping centre grrr little brat. must admit though that was the only memory i can hold on to of her being anything but perfect. i didnt have a baby to hold as well though, you did well to get home with all your shopping well done :yelclap:
im having a bad day too if it makes you feel any better, jayda hasnt eaten since 5.30am so 8 hours now and im so stressed about it, she didnt mind that she had an empty tummy until an hour ago when she started screaming hysterically but she still wont eat breast or bottle. my poor lil girl must be so so hungry i just dont understand whats going on :crying: does anyone know if teething would put them off their food? i wonder if its that, but then i dont want to just blame it on that and miss out on something else that it could be. or could it just be a bad day and im overreacting?

Candy - Teething can do this & its a bugger ! Dont be too stressed out yet if she is the same tomorrow get her to your g.p but for now try some bonjella & let that take effect then offer the bottle. If you can get your hands on it grab some Brauers Teething Relief its from the chemist or health food shops its a life saver ! Its an all natural remedy for teething & works a treat. Otherwise maybe a little panadol for now.
We had a day through the week where Squeak only had 2 bottles & i was so stressed we were going back to the beginning where he refused to eat got sick etc. But he has certainly been making up for it the last 2 days as he has been screaming the house down for a feed every 2hrs taking 150ml each time. The reflux is back with avengence & its doing my head in :banghead: Everytime i think we are getting somewhere & he settles down it all comes back full force again. Its tiring for me but also incredibly distressing to watch him suffer the way he does. Here is hoping we get it sorted soon.
Julie - Aaaah yes the joys of toddlers hey ! Dont worry thats a weekly occurance at our local supermarket. I have no choice but to take Harry & G with me cause we dont have a car i have to go at particular times for home delivery. Its a complete nightmare ! I usually end up crying the whole walk home  I swear im also going to break my teeth one day because of the amount of time i grit them while trying to drag Harry one way or the other ! Its so annoying the looks you get its like you are the worlds worst mum or something *sigh*
TJ - Well done with getting Lochie to poo on the potty ! He is just adorable !
Between TJ, Candy, Julie, Leanne & oh bugger the lot of you i hate you all :p Fancy being so bloomin skinny after having a baby !!!! I cant shift my weight at all & i have major tuck shop lady arms going on ! I suppose its my own fault for not losing the weight after having Boof but aaaugh im so down about my weight which make matters worse. Oh & the fact im back on meds for the PND wont help me shift it either gggggrrrr !
Karen - Good to see you back. Elliot is so cute ! Your boys all certainly come from good stock hehehe. No one would say they werent brothers !
Linda - You are getting the EC down pat well done. Im too lazy to do it lol plus my aunty did it with 5 boys & they all still took till they were 2yrs to TT makes me think meh why bother hehehe.
Sorry cant do more personals at this point Master G has decided to wake like always after 45mins sleep !

Sounds like a fantastic day for all lol:laughing:
My two are both asleep now Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *sits down to relax and breathe*.
Candy oh dear def go with Allys advice re the not eating have you given her any pain relief yet? I have never had that happen before so cant help, BUT Zeke is also teething and impossible to settle atm so I can understand what bubs is acting like. He gets so tired but wont go down to sleep because he is sore poor bugger. I have been using CC during the day sometimes as it is the only way he actually goes to sleep, he wont even sleep with me cradling him!!
I hope she is better before tomorrow we really want to see you both :fingerscrossed:
Ally Ally Ally :hugs: Heres me Whinging away about my hard day and then I feel like a sook compared to what your dealing with:o
Hey Candy! How was your night out? The DVD i do is 10 minute solutions and you do each dance workout for 10 mins, its lots of fun! Ill try remember and pop it in my bag and bring it along tomorrow to show you! Its so much better than the boring aerobics ones.
Julz- What a day you had at shopping:eek: Its a nightmare with Bailey too. On Friday he was running around whilst I had J in the baby bjorn. I was waiting in the queue and looked down at him...he had helped himself to a kinder surprise egg! Thank god I saw or else I would have shop lifted by accident:eek:
Ally- How is lil G going with his reflux? Is he still on meds? I stopped Jordans but I think I may need to put him back on them as he is quite gurgly, but not crying. What is G on? Jordan was on Losec but a pain to administer, I will try get a liquid form this time as his were tablets.
Well I best hop off here and get an early night as I have a big trip to Julies tomorrow!!!! Looking forward to seeing you Brissy girls again tomorrow and thanks again for volunteering your place Julz!!!
Good Night:hugs:
Hi Everyone
WOW - bubs on pottys LOL. Won't try that myself - I still have a toddler to train soon!! Good luck though, will be reading with interest.
To all the girls losing weight - BIG CONGRATS.
Leanne - that diet sounds good - for my DH! Might have to get some details off you, then diplomatically put it to my DH ummmmmmmm:detective:
Ally :hugs: honey, I am a bit behind times, so can I ask are you breastfeeding and bottlefeeding? Or just one. So frustrating when things seem to be going well then it changes again. Hope things settle for you and Squeak settle soon!!
Lil x-men: Oh the joys of being a mummy!! Toddlers :hair: - My DS2 is shocking at the moment, very stubborn and gets so cranky easily. Many times I have just let him scream it out - thankfully we have been at home, but its hard to hear them like that. Not looking forward to the day it happens in public....had a few times with DS1. Hoping next shopping trip isn't so bad.
Lolly: if bub hasn't had a feed yet, definetly take her to the gp or if it starts to happen regularly. Missing one feed - ok, but missing more then that I would start to stress, but then all my boys have had very good appetites. Hope things are better today.
I am soooooo jealous of all you girls meeting today! Have a lovely time, we were hoping to get to Brissy next year, but I just don't think its going to happen - unless we win lotto LOL
Things are going not bad here, DS1 has gotten over his tummy bug - although not sure what it was, no one else got it thank goodness! (touch wood). Had a big day shopping on Saturday with my Mum, and it was Elliot first big shopping trip - he was a bit cranky by the end of the day - where DS1 and DS2 didn't mind those big shopping trips at that age, Elliot was getting frustrated being stuck in the pram! A sticky beak he is LOL
Elliot had is first bottle last night, we try with a fast bottle in the afternoon (he settles much better on the breast when my milk comes down fast), but it was too fast, so try a slower one and he took it!! I felt so guilty but I know I am doing what is best for the whole family, so many different emotions - see how things go the next couple of days. Slowly weaning him.
I have been sitting here long enough - have a lovely day everyone.
Hello Ladies!
Well it has been a bit busy here for the past few days. I did make some more MCN's and now have 7 in total. I can go as far as making a lot more but have not got any velcro, hopefully will be able to get some more soon.
Yesterday we spend the day at Archery with DH doing another working bee on getting the field course done. Still quite a bit to go. And we also had a little BBQ there as well. We also went to a friends house for a swim afterwards and the girls spend like 3 1/2 hours swimming. They were prunes by the time they got out. I took Bailey in for a bit and he absolutly loved it. Smiled as soon as I placed him in the water. Bryce came in as well even though he did not want to and cryed for a few minutes until I put him in the floaty. He was fine after this and did not want to get out when I asked him he said no. He had started to jump from the steps of the pool and then the sides of the pool. So I guess it was not the coldness of the water but him being afraid of it. I ended up getting out and having to take him out and he was trying to get himself back in the fence to get back in so DH eventually went in with him and then did not want to get back out yet again lol. I am so glad that I perservered with him crying and got him used to it because now he loves it. I have a pic on my mobile phone that I will upload into the pics album later.
Anyhow we are all doing very well. Hope all you ladies and bubs are all well and those that are not get well soon.
I have read up on the posts and will do personals soon. I need to get the house tidied up a bit as we have not been home to much for me to be able to do it.
Have fun at your meet today ladies and make sure you take some piccies that we can look at.

karen i know exactly how you feel about the mixed emotions, i had to start jayda on formula when she was two months old (just one bottle a day though) because stupid me signed up to do some weddings before i had her, not realising how hard it would be to leave her for a few hours when she was so young :banghead: i feel so guilty and wish i could do it all over again and not do the weddings so i wouldnt have had to leave her. i could never express, it was very strange even when my boobs were bursting nothing would come out with the breast pump (avent) which i had found to be really good in the past, so formula was the only way. i really now wish that i could go get some meds and go back to full time bf but i have more weddings coming up even though i have offloaded as many as possible, so it would be the same dilemma. its really heartbreaking, i feel like its going to be something ill always regret but if i look at the bigger picture she is a much happier baby when im not there and during the day now that she's on ff during the day. anyway that turned out a big longer than i expected, i only meant to say i know its hard and offer :hugs:
tj luck you have left home already or you would be getting on my case about beign on here when im supposed to leave soon :o
actually i really should go and get ready, so much more i wanted to say to everyone but ill have to leave that for later or ill be late as usual

Jakte & LD, don't feel bad about giving your bubs formula as well as BM. You are doing the best you can! Just think of all the booby juice they've had all this time and how much good it has done for them! I managed to BF and give Formula top ups to Chloe for 8 months!!! So you can give them both food sources if you really wanted to:hugs:
LD, glad your little lady is back to her usual self
BM, your lil man is gorgeous! poor bubba, hope he is feeling much better. Looks like you all had a good day.
Shells! Good to hear from you! Glad everything is going well with Ava. You need to post up some recent piccies of her!
Julz, tut tut missy, I just tried pming you with the pics but your inbox is full!:shame: would you kindly clean it out please?:p I still have to take A's measurements, will do that tommorrow!
Leane, I just bought an "Exotic belly dance DVD" off ebay  :o I can't wait to get it!
Well A had her 4month Vax today. Hope she isn't too grizzly tomorrow.
My left ear is hurting, I really really hope it's not an ear infection!:fingerscrossed:
Well better go get some sleep, it's 12.30am Perth time!
cmd'smum: Thanks Hun :hugs:, I know what I am doing is right for everyone, as my mum said last night I have done this twice before and I know things will be fine. Hope you don't get an ear infection.
SHELL :smiliedance: - miss you!! I still have your last email in my inbox reminding me to reply - I will get in done soon!! Give that adorable girl of yours a hug from me!!
Julie: lovely to talk to you yesterday, sounds like everyone had a lovely time. Thanks for letting me gatecrashing ;)
Boymum: hope DS is feeling better, looks like he had a wonderful birthday even if he wasn't well.
Candy: So glad jayda is feeding properly again, I was worrying about her - can only imagine how you were feeling. Lovely to hear your voice yesterday too. Thanks for the hugs too.
Toni: You are busy lady, glad the boys loved the water.
Well not much news here, Elliot had his first day bottle this morning with me! (DH has been giving him his last night bottle) at first he didn't want it, mainly I think because he wasn't hungry. Try not long later and he was fine. He has taken it a lot easier then DS1 and DS2 did. Which is one less stress.
Have a oversensitive DS2 at the moment - I think is teeth, glad DS1 is at preschool. Makes things easier. I am surprise he is letting me on here for so long!! Better not push my luck LOL, have a good day everyone.

Karen - Hi lovely (and weird lol!!) to speak to you yesterday. For all the other July mummies around OZ , Karen was at our Brissy meet at my place yesterday, only in voice lol but there never the less, we all had a quick chat to her on TJ's mobile!!
Shells - Great to have you back and glad to see things are going well, would love to see some pics of Ava, I bet she has grown and changed so much now.
I hope your DS is ok, you said he was in Hospy, thats no good??!?!
Linda - Sorry!! I have emptied my inbox now so you can resend your message. The PM inbox fills up so quickly I seem to be emptying it every few days?!
Poor A, having her shots I hope she doesnt have any side effects, and you need to get to a doc if your ear hurts, could be an ear infection.I had one a month ago not nice at all. Now DS1 has one and is very unwell.
Well after saying Xav was a bit off colour yesterday, he came down with a 40degree fever yesty arvo so I raced him to the doctor and he has a really bad ear infection, so is on antibiotics for a week. He has had a bad year for ear infections .

He said the pain was from me constatntlygritting my teeth. I do this alot subconsciouly whenever im really stressed. So i think thats what it was.
Steph, wow! you go girl, you're going to be back to your goal weight before you know it!
Well, A still has mucousy poo, we told the doc and he said possibly lactose intolerant but because her poos arn't very runny he said it may be because she has had a virus or something and to just monitor! Anyone have any ideas? I do think she is teething, could this be a cause?
Linda- are the poos green?, if they are could be a sign of lactose overload that is what Elliot had - just last week I went back to having dairy in my diet and he is fine - but that was after 3 weeks of no dairy, a week or so of having lactose free milk. There is a great site about lactose intolerant or overload on the Australian breastfeeding association web page.....try and find it for you later.
If there not green, and she is otherwise well I wouldn't worry too much. As the gp said most likely teeth.

TJ, i hear you about clothes. It's not you, it's the horrible fashion ATM!!!! Is Lochie grizzly today from the needles? A is slightly warm too, nothing major tho! I have a feeling she may be teething. She is drooling big time and her bum gets red after a poo, which prob means its acidic, also a sign of teething. Plus these last two days she has been very grizzly!

Hi ladies
Sorry it's been a while, again! Busy as usual...
Been busy here, was our 6 yr anniversary on Sunday so we got to go out with no kids, was lovely. Got to have a nice long walk on the beach and a quiet dinner at a little fish cafe, with no interruptions!
DF got his snip test results a couple of weeks ago and didn't get the all clear, and we had been a bit naughty so we were stressing about being preg again, but thankfully we are not. As much as i thought i wanted a 4th, I'm so glad I'm not pregnant, dealing with these three is enough for me right now, I don't think i could cope with another right now! TMI Anyone elses AF much heavier now they have it back??
We also started a major diet on Monday, man it's tough! DF wants to give up already, we are hungry, lol. I'm gonna try and stick it out for the two weeks and then start on a less strict diet, just eating more sensibly and keep excersising. Have lost almost 2 kg in two days so far!!!!
Wynnie has been having green poos lately too, and she has been really unsettled and a slight fever, i thought it may have been teeth or just her not used to this warm weather, hmmm.
Firstly Monique - i'm so sorry to hear about your bub hun, thinking of you, we are all here for you when your ready / if you need to talk :hugs:
Steph - Sounds like you had a great weekend! You go girl, you'll be loosing weight fast with all the work your doing!
Lil-X - How is Zeke doing? All better I hope, poor little guy, thats a hell of a temp!
cmd - i grind my teeth when i'm stressed too, some morning i wake up and my jaw is so sore, hoping this will settle down now i'm on my meds, don't want to wear my teeth away!
Jkate - good to see you hun! Glad to hear all is going ok, glad to hear Elliot is taking to the bottle well, makes things a lot easier sometimes!
shells - Good to see your going well hun,. and Ava looks gorgeous! How did the older two go getting used to a new bub in the house? Hope to see more of you...
TJ - Lochie looks so cute in his potty photo, so proud of himself! I haven't heard much about what you are doing with TT, wish i had the time to do that! Lets hope it works well, |I'm TT DD1 atm and i can't wait to get her out of napppies!
Boymum- Looks like your little guy had a great Birthday, and got very spoiled! Doesn't look too well though, poor little man, sick on your birthday, not fair!
Lolly - Glad to hear Jayda is eating again, how strange!
Toni - Glad to hear you guys are all well, sounds like you akll had a great time in the pool!
JorBai - That DVD sounds great, maybe i should look into one like that, DD1 would probably be there doing it with me, she is such a little copy cat atm! Congrats on the weight loss again!
Ally - Sorry to hear Squeeks refluxx is back, poor litte guy. DD1 suffered terribly with reflux for months, i know it's not nice and very stressful but after trying all the meds etc one day she just stopped (6 months) I know it's a while off yet, but it will stop eventually, hang in there. How are you holding up lately??
Jesus I've written a novel! :ecomcity:

Just quickly guys will be back later to do a proper post but dont stress majorally about the green poos ! Unless there are other issues with them not settling etc.
Its usually a sign of them taking more foremilk rather than the hind so its prefectly normal for them to have green poos from time to time !

Yeah i can imagine Linda !
That is a pretty sure sign of something whether it be a teething, tummy bug or an intolerance of some sort so if it keeps up i would certainly be harassing your g.p.
Squeak had mucousy poos a lot of the time when fully b/f which was one of the reasons i cut out dairy. That combined with the reflux set up red flags. We now are just pondering whether he should be on prescription formula or not *sigh*. Honestly it never ends with kids does it !
Jessy - Thanks we are hoping to get it sorted soon enough. I just hate watching him in pain. Congrats on your anniversary !
Grrrr Squeak awake will be back later !

jennie was it controlled crying that you had to do? can you tell me what sort of things they suggested? jayda used to be really good but just this week and probably since that day she didnt eat all day she's been not sleeping at all during the day, no more than a 10 min kip whereas i used to be able to put her down in her cot with sleepy sam and her dummy and she would fall asleep on her own for 2 hours morning nap and at least 60-90 mins for her other naps. i thought maybe teething but now not so sure
ally/jkate do you know a lot about the green poos? lol that sounds like a strange question, but the reason i ask is because jayda has green poos and has the last 2-3 weeks id say, but she's 95% formula fed now so im wondering if it is lactose intolerance? if so is it something that could have only just affected her? because maybe thats why she's not settling and not eating well, she's only been grazing since sunday, some bottles she'll take the lot but some she'll push out with her tongue and only have 100ml
mj happy 6th anniversary :smiliedance: sounds like a perfect night out together, gimme one of those!
actually we're going to stradbroke island on friday till monday so that should be nice, but i think its going to :gloomy: i hope we at least get some sunshine
oh sorry girls gotta run my little devil is not wanting to sleep
All I know about green poo is that it is normal for some babies, DD has them every time lately. The mucous is not normal though, that's a worry. Maybe it is a milk protein problem with digestion or the lactose overload.
A switch to Formula is sometimes a big change for babies and turns poo green, especially if that formula has a lot of iron in it.
DD had mucous in her poos when she didn't agree with a particular formula, so she went to Lactose Free one. I am now trying her on a milk based one and seeing how she goes now that she's older.
I will come back later, very busy at moment, just wanted to pop in and tell you what I could about green poos. He,he, nice topic.
Seeya.
Just a quick one from me as i have only just gotten out of bed
And Lochie is still in there.
Candy, with the green poos now that L is fully formula fed, his are alll greenish - like an army green paste i would say.
So it could just be that - and coz you are using the "gold" formula that has a heap of iron in it so like Ange said it could be from that as well.
But also with a mixture of when she does BF that she is only getting the foremilk?? (like ally said)
After seeing her the other day i most certainly think she is teething - can you feel anything if you rub her gums??
Maybe try those Hylands Teething tablets i was telling you about.
Ill be back for everyone else in a tic!!

Just quickly again as i have a raging toddler on my hands
Candy - When bubs are formula fed its totally normal for them to have green poos as TJ said its got to do with the iron in the formula. Green poo isnt an issue on its own its when it has the mucous & there are other issues. If bubs is settled happy content etc then there is nothing to worry about !
Its sooo great the wonderful things you talk about as a mum !!!
Oh great i had better run Boof has just emptied his water bottle over the florr :hair:
Hello Ladies!
Bailey had a bad day yesterday and last night he woke at 1am and 4:30am where as he has only been waking around 4am. He has had bumps in his gums for a couple of weeks now and it has not bothered him. I think they might be coming through now. I can't think of anything else it would be as other than that he is his happy self.
I am not having much luck with Bryce and his potty training at the moment. He leaves it till the last minute to try and sit on the potty or just dosn't sit at all and wees on the floor wherever he is standing at the time. I just got him sitting down about 20 minutes ago as i caught him holding himself and got him early enough for him to take his jocks off. I don't know what else to do but we can't afford to keep buying 2 lots of nappies avery couple of weeks or so. I am glad I have started back on the cloths with Bailey as it is saving us quite a bit of money. Think it has been about 3 weeks now since we v=have bought any and we should be right for anouther couple of weeks. Hopefully the rain stops soon as I don't like using the dryer it costs to much money.
Julie - How is Xavier doing? Hope he is feeling better today.
Steph - happybirthday and good luck with the weight loss. I need to do something about my weight as well. I really do not have the energy at the moment and I have enough to do with 4 kids as it is lol.
Jessy - Happy Anniversary. Good Luck with the dieting and wtg for hte weight loss so far.
Jennie - Hope things work out with Talli after your day sleep thingy with her.
lolly - Have fun on the Island hope you all enjoy your stay away. :fingerscrossed: for good weather. It has been raining here for like 3 days now. Bryce is not happy with staying inside all day long.
Boymum - Hi. Don't be to worried if it's house work it will still be there later it don't like to go anywhere. :p

Ally, my gp said it may be a bug, so we will see. He didn't seem worried at all  He was more concerned about it being very runny, which it isn't. After reading the link Karen showed me, I really don't think it's lactose intolerance. She doesn't show any other signs of it, she is always content and happy, well except the past couple of days and her poo is the right colour for a fully BF bub. Today she is back to her usual self. I don't know if I should bother with my gp, he is really good, but don't think he knows too much about babies. Who else could I see? As of today I'm cutting dairy out of my diet and we'll see how that goes.
Hmmmm these toddlers of ours seem to have a thing with spilling stuff all over the floor, Chloe is obsessed with it. I mean, really, how exciting can spilling water all over the floor be?
Tali, You just have to keep at it, if that's what you want to do. They won't always settle that way, there will be some days when they arn't their usual selves. I noticed when doing CC with DD1 that if she was too overtired she wouldn't go down on her own. That's prob why your little miss would'nt fall asleep on her own last night. At those times, don't feel bad for putting her to sleep yourself. Some days you also might feel like you could'nt be bothered with it, and that's normal too. As long as you are putting her down to fall asleep most of the time then she should get the hang of it in no time! HTH!
LD, lucky ducky you! We soooooooooo need a holiday! Make sure you take heaps of pics to show us :D :fingerscrossed: it doesn't rain!
Boymum, I havn't switched DD to formula she is still fully BF, so that can't be it. Plus her poo isn't green. I don't think it's a milk protein overload, from my readings, apparently true lactose intolerance is very rare, it's more the lactose overload that most babies seem to have, bahhh it's all too confusing!!!!!!!!!!:hair:

Hi July mummies
I just wanted to say thank you girls so much for your support it has ment so much to me i thought i was dealing with things ok until today it has really hit me what has happened i have been really upset all morning i even dont want DP around me i just wantrd him to leave me alone i know its not his folt but i just need time by myself the twin todays ask me why was sad i siad mummies not feeling happy they both gave me a big hug
and jazmin wiped away my tears and said jazmin will make mummy happy she made me smile. my heart just feels very heavy today i guess i will have to take one day at a time.
so is everyone ready for :xmastree: yet im hafe way there i have all the kids stuff but still have to get rest of DP family some things i have no idea what to get them i walk around the shops lost. i think i might leave it to DP to get their xmas presents.
Well im going to go the little man is crying for a feed
take care girls talk soon.
Monique
Monique - You are lucky to have such wonderful kids that can see you are not very happy. You are a very lucky mum and i'm not sure but I would think that having them at this hard time would make it a little easier to deal with. If you ever need to talk we are all here and like I said before my computer is always on and I have messenger so if you feel the need to talk and not just post on here send me a private message and I will give you my messenger name.
We still have to get Xmas presents for everyone as we don't live somewhere where we can just run out and get stuff. Closest big town to us is an hours drive away so we just have to wait till we have the money for fuel and presents at the same time. With the relatives we just bake up a whole heap of cookies and stuff and give that to them and they are quite happy with that. So a couple of days before Xmas we are baking heaps. I am making for my grandparents and my nieces and nephew a paper bag scrapbook this year as they are the only ones in the family that we do anything for other than baking. It would just cost to much if we were to do things for everyone our family is just way to big lol.
Anyhow off to get them paper bag scrapbooks started. Well find the pics anyhow can't do them without the pics.
Hi Ladies -.regarding green poo - have to love poo talk lol - not sure with formula fed babies, but with breastfed babies, constant (elliot's for example was going on two weeks) green poo means that they are not getting enough nutrients because the milk is going straight through them. Most time changing the way they feed or removing dairy from your diet will help out.
from my readings, apparently true lactose intolerance is very rare, it's more the lactose overload that most babies seem to have, bahhh it's all too confusing!!!!!!!!!!:yes:Took me awhile to find this out - lol - reading so many different things had me confused LOL
Ok, thats my poo talk for today!! Went out without Elliot this morning(DH looked after Elliot and T) - have done this before but this was the first time that I knew I wouldn't be back for a feed, so he would have to have the bottle. All went fine. Now its just a matter of deciding how fast to wean him.
Toni - TT isn't fun, best tip I can give you is as a reward give him a "special" drink - we could tell DS1 that the water was special lol - anyway with lots of drinks they have to go to the toilet a lot! Well thats what worked for us.
Hey TJ - stop being lazy :pLOL
Lolly - sorry back to poo talk for a minute - I agree with the others in your case most likely the formula, maybe change to a non "gold" one if you are worried.
Ally: Sounds like you have you hands full with boof at the moment - maybe we should put him and DS2 together lol - they might wear each other out!!
Monique: :hugs: As you said take each day as it comes. Your girls are so sweet, give them big hugs every day.
Ok...was only going to do a quick one, better get going! Chat soon
Hello July mummies! I lost you all after the birth announcements but now I've found you I thought I'd pop in and say hello.
I've had a quick look at the photo thread, too. You're babies are all lovely! Sounds like some of you are doing well with regaining your pre-preg weight. Like CMD's mum, the whole breastfeeding thing is not working for me - it's up and down, with no real loss. Have recently started running and swimming again so hopefully something will happen. At the very least, I'll be a fit fatty!
Koby is just over 4 months and the happiest little guy. He is really smiley and social. He has started chewing on things, so teeth may not be far away, and is very interested in us eating therefore solids are probably a possibility. He is 100% BF and gaining weight nicely so I'm not in a hurry to intro solids just yet. He was 7.2kg at last weigh. People tell me he is really big but according to the weight chart he is just over 50th percentile.
He is still waking 2-3 times at night but we're working on that. During the day, he sleeps really well if i put him to bed awake. We've been trying to stick to the Contented Little Baby routine, with a bit of success. The daylight savings have messed him around a bit though.
Have attached a few pictures:
KOBY (http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q292/samh1706/16weeks.jpg)

Monique :hugs: When I m/c I found that hugging DD lots and spending heaps of time with her made me feel a little better! It's such a hard thing to go through, just take it a day at a time and like the others have said we are all here for you!

candy, want they told me too do was to feed her first and they play(looking for tried signs) and wrapp them in a cloth or sheet(as tali is so long i wrapp her in a sheet), lay them on they side facing a way from u and say"it time for bed or time to sleep" and the hold them with two hand or pat her bum to sleep, tali went straight down yesterday when we were there but when we got home it took 15 mins to nod off i found it hard but i kept with it.
Monique - I am sorry for your pain, nothing I offer or say will help your sorrows I know, but it's good that you have us here to talk to anytime. Hugs to you.
SAMH1706- Sounds like you are doing a great job with Bubs, I don't know if anyone's 4 month olds actually sleep all night? Or are there those lucky few out there? Anyway...your children look great, nice photos, thanks for sharing.
Darn have to go, everyone here is in high need of me tonight he,he.

Toni~ I know about the christmas costs. I buy for 11 nieces and nephews limit is set at $30. Then adults 17 Adults at $20-30:eek: Total is at least $670.00 for just them. So Christmas costs us nearly $2000:eek: On gifts!!
monique13~ Oh hun, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you can take time out although sometimes having our children close helps more than being away.:hugs:
allyoo~ Hi mum of my twin boy:D Good to hear from you. I hope all is well.
samh~ Oh you look fab! Breast feeding seems to help me gain weight. Good to see you have found us. Your bubba is a cutie!
Julie your li'l boy is sooo cute with his hair. Looks like a tiny toddler.
Lolly your dd is very long. Such a sweet angel

Well I have been busy I went on a picnic with some friends and their children yesterday. We drove 30mns to get there but it was just a great park fenced off for toddlers like mine. Gosh we had fun. My 3 were perfect all day:angel:
DD2 Finally had her 8week needles. I know slack mummy. She was sick and then I kept forgetting or the doc would be booked out. In the end we went to different gp. I hope she does alright tonight. I wasn't there as ds threw a yelling match because mummy wouldn't let him run around. So I got sooooo mad I took him to the car and strapped him in his seat turned the radio on and sat there. I was so upset that I couldn't BF shakyla after her needles.
DD1 Has her times for us to select for her kinder. I have put mornings as preference #1. 8.45 Omg how will I get the 3 of them out the door. I am so not organiased that early. I decided that time would be better get me prepared for school mornings and still give the other 2 their nap in arvo!!
Ds is being TT sort off. I put pants on mornings as I did 1 time and so now if I put nappy on to go out in the morning he takes it off and puts his pants on/. So I will keep going with him until he gets it. I hate the #2's in the nappy. Lets just say he loooovvvveeesss fruit:barf: :hugs:
I don't know if anyone's 4 month olds actually sleep all night? Or are there those lucky few out there?
Boymum - a friend of mine has a boy 5 days older than Koby, he has been sleeping thru since he was 6 weeks. Lucky isn't she?!
CMD'smum - yes! We should organise a Perth mum catch up. How many of us are there? Perhaps we could just catch up somewhere for a coffee?
OLT - your avatar photo is gorgeous, did you recently get married? Good luck with the TT, summer should make it a bit easier.
Monique - my thoughts are with you. CMD'smums idea sounds good.
Taliistheword - once I figured out what Koby's sleep signs were, putting him to sleep is a piece of cake. Keeping him asleep is not so easy! I wrap him too, seems to cue them to sleep. His eyes are usually rolling within two minutes of being wrapped.
Hello to everyon else, hope you're having a great day!
Koby and I have just been for a huge walk. There are a few streets with slight hills in our suburb so we go up and down as many times as my legs can cope. The people living in those streets must think I'm stalking them! My legs feel like jelly now but I'm sure thats a good thing. Isn't it? :D
We are meeting some friends for lunch today, they live in the country town DH comes from so we don't see them all that often. They've just announced they're pg after two years of trying. So happy for them, they're due in May.
BTW - my name is Sam. The H is the first initial of my last name, hence samh, rather than sahm. I AM almost a SAHM right now and loving it! I don't think a half a day work counts really, its more an excuse to drink good coffee and chat with the girls in our office!

Hi everyone, ive been so busy lately i havent been on in a while... along with steph ive also ben going to gym 4 days a week.... aiming at going 5 days from next week onwards. Atm im having a hissy fit cause keleya cant be fit into creche tomorrow so i cant go to gym!! Anyway that was a quick vent!

Hi ya'll have been slack in writing here and have got very behind on personals, sorry and hello everyone!!
Leanne sorry to hear you got sick last week, man I hope we didn't spread the bugs, coz I hear Yacine was crook after my place last week too.:(
Although Xav didn't have a virus just an ear infection, which I think he gets them frequently because he swims sooo much lol.
All better now though, the nasty infection took several days to settle. Even with antibiotics he had fevers for four days, poor baby:crying:
Been super busy here, feeling pretty crudy myself and just haven't had a chance to sit and write a decent post in here.
Congrats to all on the weight loss. Jess and Steph so cool you have buddied up for exercise, thats what I need. That way you can motivate each other to exercise:thumbsup:
No more weight loss here as far as I know but I am sooo weak all the time and shakey/dizzy/nauseus.
It is so annoying, I think bubs is draining me or something. I asked my doc and she said more calories, I am like NO I have enough of those already!!!
Priya - Hi glad to see you back and I am glad Lavya's op went well, hope he is a good boy and you enjoying your wee man!
Linda - How is C and A going, your cutey wee girls? Cant wait to see A in her new nappy she will look bootiful!

Hello Ladies!
How is everyone doing? I am still trying to get over this cold, more than a week later. It is almost gone. Thing that is not helping is having the air con on of a night I could sleep with out it on but DH gets really hot and I would rather him have a good nights sleep when he has to go to work the next day. He got promoted at work this week and now is 2ic of the grocery department so it means a little more money for us which is great as we need it. Anyhow I think I am going to head to bed as it is getting late and I am tired.
Night Night.
Hi everyone
Just a quick hello from me today. Been one hetic week, after getting over DS1 having the stomach bug, DS2 got it a week later then I did. I had one days rest (thank goodness DH had the day off) and then DS2 got sick again:banghead:. DS2 just seem to take awhile to shrug it off, and now all 3 boys have a cough!!:hair:
Elliot has is immunisations - they were meant to be on friday, but I was too sick even to look after the two older boys if DH took Elliot to the Drs. Hopefully all goes well today.
I do have some nice news :D - Elliot rolled over yesterday :smiliedance:He is such a little wiggler - another active boy on my hands.
Sorry for the lack of personals - will be back later.

ALSO another milestone, he has finally broken the 6kgs mark woohoo!!! I took him to the BF clinic yesterday as I was really worried about his green poos, and was reassured that all is well, he is happy and gaining weight so there is no need to worry about the poos! 6.1kgs, 63cms long, HC 42cms!!

Hello Ladies.
I am feeling much better today and this cold of mine is almost gone.
Bryce is not doing to badly with his toilet training. He has done 2 wees on his potty today and 1 accident. I keep telling him sit on your potty or you can go to bed lol. He sits right down most times when I say that. It's the only thing that seems to be working to get him to sit on it. Hopefully he gets the jist of it soon and reminds himself he needs to wee on the potty. He also goes and empties it in the toilet and flushes it once he is done.
Bailey is well. 4 months old on Saturday. Him and I are going to the doctors on Friday. Him for his checkup and me to get my arm looked at. It has been sore since Bailey was about 1 month old. Doctor told me it would go away when I am not holding Bailey so much. I have never had to hold him and carry him around that much as he has been a happy baby from day 1. My arm has gotten worse and usually I can take a couple of painkillers and it helps but yesterday I was almost in tears with the pain and the painkillers did not kick in and help at all. I have booked us in to see a different doctor this time around. He was my doc while I was growing up and I trust him a whole lot more than the other doc. So we will see what happens and hopefully something can be done. I would say that it is carpel tunnel (however that is spelt lol). I have good days and bad days with it.
Jkate - Hope everyone is well and truly over being sick now. :yelclap: for Elliot for rolling over.
Leanne - happybirthday to Bailey and hope he has a good party on Saturday. Glad to hear Elliot's immunisations went well. I will be taking Bailey in next Tuesday to get his 4 month ones.
Shell - how are you doing? don't hear from you to much at the moment.
Monique - Good to hear that you are feeling better and good luck TTC'ing for #6 in the new year. happybirthday to Jade. HAve fun at the park with the kids.
Jess -WTG on the weight loss.
cmd's mum - How can you stay up so late I would be falling asleep on my feet at that time of night/morning lol.
Jessy - congratulations on the weight loss. 5.5 kg in 9 days wtg. :yelclap: to Wynter on rolling over.
Julie - :yelclap: to Zeke on rolling over and for getting over the 6kg mark. Hope your doing well.
Hello to everyone I have missed and hope you and your kids and bubs are all doing great.

Monique, I live in Bedford (close to the Galleria). Firdays arn't good for Sam so looks like it'll have to be a Thursday! So depending on where Sam lives, we'll see where we can go!
Toni, it does sound a little like Carpel Tunnel. Do you also get pins and needles? I Had CT when I was pg and it's just horrible!!! Hope you're Dr can help figure out what is going on!

I don't get pins and needles but it does get really achy and all the muscle below the elbow gets the worst other than the joint.
Toni, could just be a sprain or something similar - either way make sure you get the GP to have a look
Jkate - whhoooo hoooo for lil Eliott! Clever little fella
Julz - same for Zeke. I cant believe his head is 42cm and he is that long - thats the same as Lochie, but Zeke looks much smaller than him. Its prob the extra 1.5kg that Lochie is carrying that makes him appear soo much bigger.
also a BIG THANK YOU for all the info you sent me viz PM about the MCN's - it was only this morning that i realised i didnt reply and THANK YOU!!! So sorry about that!!!!
Congrats Jess and Steph on the weight loss thats fantastic!!
How much did both of you want to lose? Are you far from your goal?
Jessy - also annother congrats on Wynter rolling over, it really is the week for it huh!
Leanne - give that gorgeous little man a big BIRTHDAY cuddle for me!!
Monique - Happy birthday to Jayde as well, and good luck if you do decide to TTC #6 :)
Lochie is sound asleep at the moment, so im having some ME ME ME time - not for long tho i bet.
I've been sucked into the whole MCN thing, and have been going a bit crazy with buying them, so will have to stop once i have 20 i think and then slowly get a few more here and there.
Im sure Lochies teeth arent toooo far away, he is sucking and chewing on everything, and there are times that im sure i can feel one about to come through, and then a few hours later i cant feel anything - i wish they would either hurry up or go away!!
Shells - i ALMOST forgot about you - please please please post some pics of Ava in the photo album thread, would love to see her
Hi All
Toni - that souds like either carpel tunnel or a pinched nerve in your neck. After my first pregnacy, I had a really sore wrist. I had some tingling but not where CT usually is so they sent me for tests and x-rays which didn't reveal anything. It was only after 7 years of intermittent pain (some days really bad) that a chiropractor told me it was from a pinched nerve in my neck. Took him two weeks to fix. Never had it since. Worth checking out.
CMD's mum and Monique - I'm in Canning Vale but I'm happy to meet you guys north of the river give you're both up that way. I need to pick kids up from school too.
MJ - how on earth are you losing that much weight?! I'm going to Weight Watchers, running, swimming and walking and I've barely lost half a kilo in the last ten days. Are you stil BF?
Hello Ladies!
Went to the doctors today and I was tol that I have got tennis elbow....boy did it hurt when he pushed his thumb into it.....He gave me a 3 week suply of anti inflamatories and had to get a ointment from the chemist to rub on it. Also Bailey had his checkup and is doing well he was even gooing and gahing at the doctor and smiling at him....the nurse then weighed him and did his length and head circumfrence. She also said do you want me to do his needles as well. I was going to go in and do it next Tuesday which is the day they have set for needles. So that was a bonus and I don't have to go back. Anyhow have to go and cut DH and DS1 hair before it gets dark out.
Hi Gals,
Sorry it's been so long, I have been putting all of my time and effort into working out DD's feeds and sleeps etc...all to do with her reflux and allergies etc. it's been running me ragged.
Anyway, popping in to say howdy, have to go though and be back soon.
Bye bye

Hi lovely ladies, hope you are all well and your bubbas are all thriving :)
I'm sorry I havnt been on for a while, we moved house a few weeks ago and the internet still isn't on , so have to keep borrowing my friends. Anyways we are having quite bad sleeping problems, still, please read (if you have time), my post, and if anyone can offer some advice please let me know.
Malik is thriving though, he is over 7kg now haha, yes he comes from good stock, he is so beautiful, I just wish we could sort out his little problems :(
I cant wait to get the net back on so I can chat with you all, look forward to talking with you all soon.

Lots of love Holly and Malik xxx
I had a read Holly...maybe bubs has a Lactose or Milk allergy? Can cause all sorts of upsets.
I am going through similar things with DD on and off lately.
I do not know what else to suggest.
Does he have any swelling around the eyes and nose area? Or hard poos or runny poos?
How is he during the day?
YOu poor things, big hugs.

Hello Ladies!
Well my elbow is feeling much better allready...It was after only 1 day of taking the medicine for it.....It still has a little pain through it but nothing as near as bad as it was.
Bailey had a bit of a fever for 24 hours or so after he had his needles on Friday but is much better now.....He was still his cheeky little self though even though he was not 100%.
Bryce has been on and off pretty good with his potty training lately. He has done 6 wees on his potty today and had 2 accidents.
Holly - :hugs: to your family. I can't give you any advice as I have not had a refluxy or colicy baby. Wish I could though.
Boymum - Hope everything is going well with you trying to work out DD feeding and sleeping. :hugs:
Well Bailey is being a bit of a grump need to go have a talk to him and he will be fine......
Bye for now.
Hey everyone
Good to see everyone posting again, was very quiet in here for awhile. Not much happeing here, Elliot is going well - very active, trying to change a nappy sometimes is difficult!! He is fully FF now, and he is doing well with it. Its me finding it hard, breasts a bit sore and was feeling sad when I finished.
I took some more photos today, if I get a chance tonight will upload them.
Toni: Glad to hear your elbow is better. DS1 used to react like that to his immunisations, every bub seems to react differently.
Holly: not sure if I can give you any extra advice. Lots of good ideas already from what I have read. Hope things get sorted soon. :hugs:
Nearly shower time here - gets a bit hetic, so I better get going.
A BIG HELLO to everyone else. And lots of :hugs: to everyones bubs!!
Chat Soon
Karen
Jkatey :yelclap:
Long time no see
Holly - sorry to hear you are having such a hard time, i cant offer any suggestion apart from maybe another trip to your paed, or even a chiro or something in case his little neck and back are out of whack??
Toni - Glad your elbow is getting better.
You have had a rough trot lately, always someone sick and now you injured.
Ange - hopefully little B sorts her self out soon.
A mum with little sleep is a DISASTER.
No news on my end..... Lochie is still same as usual. Im still the same. BORING....
Oh actually... i do have some news....
I wasnt going to say anything yet, but we are TTC #2 - well not full on TTC, but not doing anything to stop it either.
As most of you know we needed IVF last time to fall pregnant due to me not ovualting on my own every month.
But GUESSY WHAT.... I O'd on my own last week, woke up with the worst pain, and then the eggwhite CM, and high cervix, so we got in some BD'ing "just in case"
So we'll see... im certainly not expecting it to happen right away, so i wont be too bummed if AF does decide to show up.
Hopefully i can fall naturally this time around :fingerscrossed:
Hello to everyone else.
PERTH GALS - Def catch up and post some piccies for us. Us Brissy girls have a ball :)

Linda - HAs my nappy arrived yet?? If not hope it comes soon, am so nervous about you getting it I hope its good enough:o
Toni glad your elbow is better, you guys have had ahard time of it health wise lately too, figerscrossed you all stay healthy for a long time to come now. Go Bryce with the TT, sounds like he is well on his way to becoming nappy free woohoo!!
Holly - Hello chick and big:hugs: sorry to hear things are still not right with little Malik. I read your thread but I dont have much advice to offer, some of the advice in there was great though, I reckon the Osteo would be worth a try aye, it cant hurt anyway. I hope things get better soon, so you can start to enjoy motherhood and get some:sleeping:
TJ - OMG I am so excited for you, can I live vicariuosly through you atm since we are not TTC'ing for another couple of years yet, but I am clucky as all heck?? I hope you start another TTC diary, I loved following your one with Lachy it was entertaining reading!
You might be surprised and fall preggers quickly, giving birth can do amazing things to your body fertility wise.
It can abolish endometriosis and get rid of abnormal cells. I used to have abnormal cells so had smears every 6months, what a drag. But after having Xavier they dissapeared and I have had clear pap smears ever since!
You might find you are more fertile than ever now, goodluck anyway!!
Right I best go and cheack dinner, hello to everyone I have neglected to mention!!

Anyone want to join me then??? :chef:
Hey Julz, sorry you are not well. :hugs: Hope you get better really soon.
Well... it has taken me about 2 hours to do these 3 measly posts and I haven't done any reading... My lil boy is vomiting and I've had to change 2 lots of sheets, 1 mattress and 3 lots of pj's for him so I've had enough of tonight. I think I'll sleep before AJ wakes up. She has decided to stop sleeping through - which is why I was trying to do a post tonight. Maybe its a growth spurt?
Sorry girls, one day I'll write to you all... tell me when there is the next blue moon!!

Boobs are feeling a little better, but they seem to be taking longer then what they did with DS1 and DS2 - then again I can't remember LOL.
Busy day here today, DS1 has preschool, I am taking DS2 & Elliot to playgroup. And today is DH's Birthday, so cooking him a roast. So glad I didn't wrap any of his presents in front of DS1, he already told him on the phone this morning what type of card he brought for him:laughing: 4 year olds can't keep secrets.
Oh and some pics
Santa Photo (http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g52/jkat_hog/santa20072.jpg)- all looking at the camera, no crying and no ME!! Very proud LOL

i hope u all are well and sorry missed to the ladies i missed tali cracking a **** cause she wants to get out of the rocker so i better go
Hello Ladies!
Jkate - Hope your feeling better soon....nothing like you boobies feeling like they are I think we all know that it's horrible.....Your boys are all gorgeous and the santa photo is great and they all look so much alike.....We got to get one done soon but we have only got a 5 seater car and 6 of us so it's hard...will have to do it one time Kira goes down to her dad and get him to bring her to us to get them done. It's a pain in the butt.
Tara - Congrats on the TTC'ing hope all goes well for you.
Julie - Hope your feeling better and the rest of your family as well. Hopefully yours and my family don't get any other illness's for a looooong loooong time after this. I surely have had enough of it.
Jenni - I would not move out until you find a house that you are happy with and with DH back the way it is as he could irritate it and make it worse than it already is.....I'm sure the owners will understand and they can't really get mad or anything about it as they can't legally do anything until your lease is over.....
Well everything is going pretty good here. Bailey has slept right through the night the last 2 nights from 10pm to 8am on Sunday night and then last night from 7pm to 6am:smiliedance:. :fingerscrossed: he keeps doing this as it is great to be able to get a good nights sleep again.
I have been working on xmas pressies the last couple of days. For my nieces and nephew I am scrapbooking little paper bag albums with pics of them as we cannot really afford anything else this year. It does not really take that long to do them, I should be finished one this arternoon so I will take some pics and show you ladies if anyone wants to see them.
Anyhow I am going to go and get the dishes done and then get back into the scrapbooking. Can't get slack about it or I will never get them done before xmas.
Bye Bye ladies and take care.

Well being that i havent said hi in ages i thought i had better do it today ! I do keep checking in on you all though !
Wow TJ !!!!! Awesome news ! Good luck !
Karen - Good to see you popping in more. Gotta hate the engorged feeling. Ive only ever had it once when i was on the Motilium for supply & Squeak refused to feed ... Actually when does he not refuse to feed
ET's mum - Oh dear hope your little man feels better soon poor bugger. Wisdom teeth out & then considering TTC#3 sheesh you are more game than me !
Julie - It seems to be the thing this year. Everyone is having trouble kicking being sick. I think its cause the weather keeps changing so dramatically ! Hope you feel better soon.
Boymum - I wish we could get things sorted here too the whole reflux thing is wearing very thin. Hope things settle for you soon.
Toni - I would love to see your scrapbooking ! I need to get motivated cause i still havent even done Boof's from his birth let alone pondered Squeaks ! I have all the gear ready to go its just sitting down & doing it ! Glad to hear your elbow is getting better.
Holly - I hope things settle with Malik otherwise start harassing your doctor until they listen ! Squeak has the runny poo's etc & im fed up with nothing being done. Especially when he doesnt actually put on weight that well & we struggle to keep it on. I hate everytime the 'failure to thrive' gets mentioned. Makes me cry.
Was supposed to be at the doctors again today but due to the weather we didnt get there. Someone better start listening to me soon or im going to lose it ! We have nites where all is fine & he sleeps well then others like last nite where he woke every hour screaming for 20mins. I feel like cr@p all the time & i have no patience for Boof.
My medication isnt working & seems to be making me worse funnily enough so hopefully i can get that sorted soon.
Things could be worse i know its just every day is a struggle.
Has anyone heard from Shilo? She has not posted in here for almost 2 weeks.
I'll see if I still have her mobile number and text her...
ETA - Yep all ok with OLT. Just busy. Maybe look out for her tonight! :)

Hi Ladies!!
Sorry I haven't been around much, been busy busy here as always and not on the computer much, or having any timw to sit down!
Things ar ok, Ethan & Savvy have been doing my head in, crazy children. Ethan has hit a terrible stage where he is being a complete terror, Dr reckons it's normal for boys to be worse at 3 than the terrible twos, bummer.
Wynter is growing up, playing a lot now, grabbing and munching toys and doesn't like her dunny anymore, except now likes her thumb, very cute though annoying cause i can't exactly take her thumb away from her can i!
Figured out why she was wking at night, hungry! I ave started her on a bit of rice cerial and she is sleeping through again :smiliedance: Chubby bubby, she's always hungry!
Haven't lost any more weight, but thats cause i went off the diet, and have been so busy with these kids that i haven't had time to excersise either, but i haven't put any back on so that a plus i guess.
Someone asked about how i did it?? I went on a reducing diet from the Flinders Uni, it's chemically designed, you eat a lot of eggs and grapefruit! Worked though, even though i wasn't on it for the full two weeks, gotta be really strong willed, cause you have to cut out a lot of food...
TJ - TTC already, your a crazy woman (coming from a woman with three at home 3 and under!) Good luck hun! :babydust2:
Ally - Sorry to hear your meds aren't working hun. lets hop-e you can find something else that will.
Toni - Make sure you show us your scrapbooking hun, sounds like fun to me!

Thought I'd better make an appearance to let you all know I'm still alive! :D
I do pop in from time to time and read some of the posts but I just simply cannot keep up with you girls! LOL! :ecomcity:
Well my little family is growing and life is busy busy busy. Chelsea is finishing kinder soon, and next year Nicola will start 2 full days a week and Chelsea will be full time prep - so I will have 2 kids at school 2 full days next year leaving me at home with just Immy and Alex - what will I do with myself?!! (Hopefully come on here more often! LOL!)
Alex is such a gorgeous litttle boy! He's a real ladies man and has this look that charms all the girls! I was in a wedding in QLD in Oct and Alex and I flew up together and my DH joined us later in the week. He flew really well, sleeping most of the way on the first leg and charming the pants off a female flight attendant for 1/2 of the 2nd leg of the trip!
Lots of people who meet Alex think he's about 6 months old - apparently he has an older look about him. He has a very expressive face, a nice little crop of dark hair (yay!) and gorgeous little smiley lips!
Sleep wise, things are much the same since birth, good naps through the day and waking once a night for a quick feed. Still loving the mummy-milk and the feeding is going well. He had his needles on Friday which wasn't very nice but since then half the house has come down with a cold and Alex has copped it bad. His cry is very strained, his nose is running yellow and this morning he woke with 2 very yellow gunky eyes so I took him to the Dr today to get him checked out - he has conjunctivitis and we have some drops for his eyes. In all, he's still fairly happy but hasn't been sleeping well the last couple of days/nights.
As for me, my AF returned when Alex was 7 weeks old but then didn't come back until last week. I think she's here for good now, but only time will tell and I'll have to wait and see what happens next month. As much as I'd REALLY like another little boy, DH is more convinced that 4 is enough for us and I'm slowly thinking that 4 is just nice. Although I'm really quite sad because Alex is growing up so fast and pretty soon he's not going to be my baby boy (although really, he always will be!)
Alex started rolling over at 3.5 months from front to back and back to front which was a bit scarey. I took him to the clinic for a weigh and begged the CHN to make him stop rolling! LOL! Now he moves around quite well and he also loves his jolly jumper as he's upright and can see all that goes on around him. Alex is on the verge of getting 2 teeth already, he has two very sore & swollen lumps on his bottom gums and is forever munching away at his fist - I give it another month and they'll be through.
Thanks everyone who've written me pm's here and there - I definately haven't forgotten you guys at all, just so hard to actually catch up with everyone on here as the thread moves so fast! I'll do my best to make more of an effort.
Better head off, I've been writing this on and off through the day (between settling Alex, trips to the Dr, picking Chelsea up from school early because she felt unwell . . . ) but I'll leave you with a few (million . . ) photos so you can see how much my bubba blue has grown (and yes, I still call him that!)
Photos range from September to now.

Morning Girls
Well its only 6.23am and DS2 as already thrown a couple of tantrums ummmmmmmmm a lovely day for me today:rolleyes:
Anna: So glad to see you here, not long after we chatted last time I got addicted again LOL - just can't stay away from these lovely ladies. So good to hear everything is going well, Alex is adorable!! Chat soon.
JorBai: Did I wish Bailey Happy Birthday....I can't remember but here is another birthday wishhappybirthday. Glad the Birthday went well.
Toni: That album is lovely very talented!! What a great idea for Christmas presents.
MJ: Good to hear from you. I know how you feel with terror boys!!! DS2 has it the terrible two big time and I don't want to even think about what he is going to be like with the 3's:hair:
Ally: BIG :hugs:. I know its not much, but we are always here for you.
taliistheword: I am sure things will work out with the rental. Hope Dh gets better soon.
Well, not much news here, I have a heap of housework to do today, and I just don't know if I have the engery, but if I want to get out tomorrow then I need to do it today!!
Quick question: for those who wean bub's, how long did it take for the boobs to settle down. Mine are not hurting anymore (well not much) but I am surprise how long it's taking.
I had a lovely drink with dinner last night, it was lovely to be able to enjoy it again. It was funny yesterday when I had a bit of a croaky voice and a small cough, I thought oh no I can't get sick - then I realised oh but I can take something. After year of being so cautious, seems a bit second nature to start wondering what I can have.
Off to try and finish my Christmas cards, making them myself with the boys photo on them, but they are not printing out properly. Anyone know anything about photoshop! If I do get them done, I will show you.
Chat to you all soon.
Hello Ladies!
Well Bailey didn't sleep right through last night like he did the 2 nights before. He went down around 8:30pm and woke ot 1:30am, wouldn't settle so had to give him a bottle.
Anna - Good to hear from you in here. Alex really does look older than what he is. He is just gorgeos.
jkate - How are they printing out do they have obvious lines through them like it's not printed out evenly? If they do when you go to printh them out go to preferences then click on the Paper/Quality tag and tick the box that says Borderless printing.....this slows the printing down and gives you a much higher quality of print. If that don't help maybe ask the ladies in the craft section they will probably be able to hep you. I don't know anything about photoshop as I do all my scrapbooking by hand and not digital.
Morning girls
Leanne - hope you've had fun with the MIL visiting - must have done if you haven't been around on bubhub! happybirthday (belated) for Bailey!
Karen - gee this must be the longest since we've chatted! Get your butt back on msn sometime and buzz me when you're free! LOL! I know what you mean about the housework. I've tonnes of washing/ironing to do and I should finish it today while the weather is still gorgeous, but who wants to do housework on a nice day?!! As for the boobs, when I weaned I took a good month to do so, so my boobs were eased out of it very gently. I just dropped a feed, left it a week, dropped another feed etc. I always had lots of milk so this was the only way I could do it. If you still have lots of millk you can express off the tiniest amount so you're not sore. Hope it all gets better soon.
Toni - sorry to hear that Bailey didn't sleep through for you. Maybe he's at that stage where he's on the verge on sleeping though but just needs that extra top up every now and then? At least he woke at 1.30am and not 4 or 5am - that's a terrible hour to try to go back to sleep!
Well having said that, Alex went down at 8pm and slept til 5am! I was so happy about that because I felt sure he was going to wake about 10 times due to his cold and eyes. We gave him his dummy but he started coughing a lot and his dummy kept coming out so after about 1/2 hour we just brought him into bed with us and of course snuggled up into me so he wanted milk. So I fed him ( he was hungry the poor bubba!) and he went back to sleep til my arm lost all feeling then I passed him to DH! Alex and I didn't get up til 9am! Chelsea was already up watching tv and Immy was still asleep until we came downstairs (Nicola is at my nans for a few nights). Alex's eyes look so much better today already! No gunk in them but I'm still going to do the whole course of eye drops just to make sure the infection has gone. He's quite happy today so I'll see how he goes before I think about giving him anymore baby panadol, I don't think he needs it which is great!
Ok well better get my kiddies dressed, Alex might just stay in his jumpsuit today (so slack!) but better get the girls dressed.
Ahhhh.... the sky is blue and the sun is out!
What a day! :sunshine:

The quality is fine, its even though I create it as a 4x6, when I print it and set it to that setting it crops it. I will put a link up soon to show you what I have done
Karen - gee this must be the longest since we've chatted! Get your butt back on msn sometime and buzz me when you're free! LOL!
And what do I do to you this morning - have a sook and run :o - Will have a decent chat soon. Oh and yep Elliot had a grizzle before, and I leaked!!!! Today would have to be the day, that its done that the most.

LOL! You can sook and run any old time!
Oh and get those breast pads back out dear, you don't want to leak when you're out tomorrow!:o

Thanks hun:hugs: And don't worry I went and brought some breast pads the other day, and I thought I would never have to again LOL, the problem was this morning I had an old crop top on, kind of didn't do the trick :devil6:
Here is the photo (http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g52/jkat_hog/christmascard5red.jpg)- I am sending these out instead of Christmas cards. Any opinions would be great :) ETA: oh and I change it a bit so its got a wide border so if it did any cropping it wouldn't be so bad.
Oh WOW KAREN! That looks fantastic!
LOL! Little Elliot looks a bit surprised sitting on Santa's knee! So cute!
What gorgeous kids you have!
Karen - The card looks good. Glad you sorted out the cropping thing. I know what you mean about the cropping the only size you can do without it cropping is A4 fax print whick is silly. I actually use my Kodak camera program to print out my pics now as I know it does not crop them.
Bailey has a rash today pretty much all over his body......I gave him a bath in pinetarsol so I am hoping that helps. If it does not begin to disapear soon I will be taking him to the doctors to make sure it is not something serious.
Hey Toni - geez that pinetarsol stuff stinks doesn't it?
I wouldn't worry too much about the rash - it's quite common for babies to get a rash from their immunisation. Give it a day or two and if it doesn't clear on it's own, take him down to the Dr or even the sister if your Dr's office has one, and get it checked out.
Alex is having a lovely little nap today, I'm going to have to get him up if he doesn't wake by 12:45 - I want to make sure he's getting all his feeds at the right time these next couple of days just so I know he's getting enough. It's been quite warm and he's not taking water yet (although I have some boiled water in the fridge ready to try) and because he's unwell he's not taking quite as much milk at each feed.
So where is everyone? All of a sudden it's not so chatty! Do I smell or something?
ETA: How good is my boy?! He's awake and ready for a feed at 12:30!
Hey Toni - geez that pinetarsol stuff stinks doesn't it?
Yeah it does but it does wonders. I use it alot during the summer up here the kids get prickly heat alot with the muggy weather.
Great that Alex has woke for his feed on time.
So where is everyone? All of a sudden it's not so chatty! Do I smell or something?
Yep you do :p:devil6:
Toni: Hope Bailey is feeling better soon.
Looks like were the only 3 alive on here today? lol......Wonder how Julie is doing. Hope she is feeling better.

I'm here I'm here!
Sorry I havent been chatty, but we are such a sick household here atm. IT has been a miserable two days I even called DH home from work yesterday to help out since all three of us were sick! I am feeling better today thank goodness but poor old Zeke had a bad night with raging fevers and a nasty cough so I took him to the doctor this morning and he has chest infection, my poor baby:( he is so unhappy he wont let me put him down, when I do he:crying:
Great scrapbooking Toni, very clever and Karen I love your Xmas postcard it looks great.
I just bought a whole heap of Aussie xmas cards to post to NZ and I am just going to stick a photo inside of the boys. I dont know why I hadnt thought of making the picture itself into the card before, makes more sense lol. Ahwell it's an idea for next year!
Anna - so nice to see you back here, Alex is such a strong wee boy, I watched your vids of him yesterday what a cutey!
We have exceeded our download for the month so are running on dial up so it took aaages to see them, but I was determined to have a squiz at your little guy!
TJ - I see you started a TTC diary, that didn't take much convincing lol!! Hope things happen quickly for you :bfp::fingerscrossed:
Well We have had acrap week altogether, been sick had to miss the BHBrissy meet and now we have just discovered we have termites again!! We had them treated a yr ago and they are back in the wall of the bathroom, DH could hear them last night :banghead: Isnt it typical this kind of thing happens right before xmas time??
So we are looking to refinance in the new year to pay for the treatment, get one of those termi mesh barrier things put in and completely renovate the bathroom now ( we were planning on doing up the bathroom anyway).
So this xmas is going to be a very modest one I am afraid.
Glad your feeling a bit better Julie........I know how your feeling about the sickness it all just needs to stop for a while so you can enjoy life a bit with the littlies. Grrrrr about the termites that is bad especially at this time of the year. I'm sure xmas will be very special stilll even though you have to watch what you spend. We don't always have alot to spend at xmas but the kids still enjoy what they get.
Thanks Julie. I usually make up a card with the photo on the front, but wanted something different this year. Poor Zeke, but thankfully you now know whats up - is there anything to give him? That suxs about the termites, hope it doesn't cost too much. :hugs:
Hey Toni, maybe you should mention someone else and see if they appear LOL
Lil X-men
28-11-2007, 13:22
Lol Toni you have the power to draw bubhubbers online!!
:wizard:
Yep I have to get Zekes script for Amoxill this arvo when I pick up Xav from Daycare. He is havign a huge sleep now so hope he feels a little better when he wakes. Though I doubt it, once the panadol wears off his temp goes up again and he starts feeling like **** again ( I know how he feeld poor bugger coz this was me not long ago too lol).
The termites is going to cost BIG $$$$$$$ Especially getting the preventative mesh stuff we're looking at between 5 -7 grand. Then about another 8 grand to renovate the bathroom:eek: Arggh we'll get there, we always do lol!!
Anna should we be giving bubs water?? I am not sure whether to try and give Zeke any or not. He's not keen on taking bottles and he seems to be feeding OK. I have been offering him feeds more frequently as I am worried he is going to dehydrate with these fevers.
Ouch Julie, that is a lot of money!! You have a wonderful outlook on it though. If you are breastfeeding Xav I wouldn't stress about giving him extra water, but giving the extra feeds is a good. Espically with him being sick. Hope he gets better soon.
Hello lovlies!!
Julz - EEEK about the termites!! Typical for this time of the year huh.
Hope the 3 of you are feeling better soon, i HATE being sick when its hot, its yucko.
In regards to the water my GP said start offering at least by 6 months, and if you are giving solids - like associate water with a food.
But prob not too bad of an idea while he is sick, you know just a bit here and there, enough to wet his mouth so to speak.
Yeah i was thinking about TTC so thought i would write down how i was feeling at the time. :p
Karen - the postcard looks lovely!! I was thinking about doing one this year for Chrissy, but couldnt really be bothered (i did one for when Lochie was born, i think i showed you) But after seeing how yours turned out i think i just might :)
Anna - What a clever little man you have, i love the pics and your 3 gals are adorable.
Hope Alex is feeling better soon.
Toni - hope you are feeling better as well.
I bought a new pram today just coz i liked the colour of it... hmm opppsie!!
Ill sell my other one on ebay.
Im still getting use to using the whole mcn thing, i HATE putting them in the bucket, i feel like i wanna puke every time, normally im fine with stinky things, but this is not good. I have put some lavender oil in there and it seems to be making it much better.
Lochie had his Santa photo done today - i dont have a scanner but ill take a photo of it and post it in a sec.
Hey Julie! Nah I wouldn't stress over the whole water thing, if you think that Zeke is getting dehydrated then just up his number of feeds per day. But sometimes it's good to give them water in really warm weather if you don't want to feed them every hour! I just have some water in the fridge already boiled just in case, but I haven't given Alex any yet. He takes a bottle well because he's had one since birth. I had to express and feed him for over 2 weeks because he damaged me so much but I got him back on the breast as soon as I healed. We did keep up an expressed bottle maybe once a week so he didn't forget how to take it - but occassionally (maybe one feed a week) we give him a bottle of formula usually at night if I'm tired etc just so he will still have it if we have a baby sitter etc.
I'm so sorry to hear about the termites - just one thing we don't have to worry about here in Tas. $8K sounds pretty good for a bathroom though! You could pay much more for one!
I hope you're all feeling well again soon, I'm sure that this lovely weather here is making us all feel good again :hugs:.

TJ - Go get yourself a couple of wet bags or some pail mates. Im a stroller freak DP has a heart attack when he sees me looking at them ! I love my pram would never change that for a million years but we have had 4 strollers. The one that is my favourite has just died cause Boof threw a tanty in it so im now wondering whether thats an excuse for a new one :devil6:
Julie - Oh dont you love it when this happens before Xmas ! Hopefully it isnt as expensive as you think :fingerscrossed: Poor Zeke hope he feels better soon dont worry about giving him water b/f babies get all they need from their b/f. The milk will actually thin out to suit the babies needs.
Toni - That little album is gorgeous ! So makes me think why the hell havent i started my albums. I really need a kick up the bum !
Anna - Great to see you ! Your little man is adorable ! I can only imagine how busy you are. I dont know what i was thinking having another & am not too sure whether a third is happening now.
My two have still hardly slept since the day before last .... Its so much fun being in this house atm :dizzy::hissy::hair::crying:
Ally - so with the wet bags (im actually making my self one up now to be honest)
do i just chuck the nappies in there, but wouldnt that be the same thing, as soon as i open them it will knock me for dead??
Or do you mean get lots of small ones??
Hope you get some sleep soon -or should i say the boys do as well
OMG! how weird is that I came on and read posts before Tara posted and I didn't get time to say anything as BAiley wanted me. But I was thinking while I was tending to Bailey who would it be to come on next.......hmmmmmmm Tara? that is just crazy.
Tj - I am feeling pretty good now. Wlbow feels like I never had tennis elbow now but will be keeping up with the meds till they are done as I don't want to get it back it is that painful. Hope your little ones settle down for you and get some sleep tonight so you can get some rest. Sounds like you need it.
Ally it took me almost 2 years to get Bryce's album going but I have it all caught up now and after I finish the xmas presents I need to get stuck into Bailey's and get his up to date before it gets away from me as well. I love doing it I don't know why I even stopped for so long.
LMAO TJ! The pram thing sounds like something I'd do! I hope you sell your pram! What sort did you get and what did you have? Can your new one have a toddler seat on it?
Ally - you poor thing! I know exactly how you feel with the whole sleep deprivation thing. How quickly we forget and go back for another baby , must be something to do with hormones because common sense has nothing to do with it!
Yep I am busy but I've been a bit lazy these last few days while we've been unwell, so I feel guilty when DH comes home and the house is in a worse state than when he left!
My goodness girl - how did your stoller die from Boof throwing a tantie?!!
TJ - where's this photo of Lauchie with Santa?!!

The smell is still there but i personally dont find it as bad i think using a bucket tends to hold the smells in the plastic iykwim.
I cant wait to get my sewing machine for Xmas i already have a whole heap of bamboo ready to make inserts etc will mean i can also make another wet bag as i need it !
Oh & yes what did you get ?!?!?!?!?!
My goodness girl - how did your stoller die from Boof throwing a tantie?!!
Welllllll  He is a big boy so can break things very easily ... Which makes my life real fun !
When we were out he kept running off & we didnt have the harness with us so said right you are going in the stroller. Put him in & he did the whole back arch throwing himself around etc. Which meant the foot bar copped it so that broke & the back rest also died so we cant lay it back now. Which means its useless to use as a back up for Griffin ! I tend to have Griffin in the sling or mei tai so its not a big thing but is nice to have a break when we are out for the full day iykwim.
Anna heres the thread with the Lochies pic

OOOOOHHHHH another thing.....Bryce has done 2 wees standing on his step in the big toilet today :smiliedance::yelclap:and without telling me that he had to go. I am so happy with the way he is progressing lately even though he has his bad days.
Hey girls,
Julz Im so sorry to hear your household is sick, I really feel for you as we are just getting over it here and its not nice at all. Get well soon hun and we missed you at the meet!
Ally- You poor thing hun, sleep deprivation is awful. Thats a long time to be awake too, you all must be getting over tired. Sending lots of sleep vibes your way.
TJ- Love the santa pic of Lochie, honestly he is just too cute! What type of pram did you get?
Anna- GReat to see you in here hun! Did I mention J got a few wears out of his lil suits you sent up!!! So they came in nice and handy! Alex is just adorable, he looks very much like your youngest, is it Imogen?
Jkate- Oh your boys are adorable! Elliot is a beautiful bub and they all look so cute with Santa!!! Aww...now Im clucky for another boy!!!
Toni-Well done Bryce on the TT! Im not even bothering with Bailey right now, he hates the toilet and the potty but he will happily let me know 10 mins before he does a poo...
Jordan is going well! Sleeping great thro the night, I truely cant believe how lucky I have been with my kids sleeping and I definately dont take it for granted. He is such a happy bub too which makes a difference for the horror first 8 weeks of his life! Morning Ladies
The boys have me up and early this morning, so any of this doesn't make sense I am still half alseep - well thats my excuse:laughing:
Monique: No Christmas decorations up here yet. We wait till after DH's birthday, that was Tuesday, so now I just need to do some rearranging before we put the three up.
Leanne: I joined facebook yesterday too LOL. I will pm you my details, we both have another friend
TJ: :p (because I can LOL)
Ally: Oh hun, I hope you got some sleep. There doesn't seem to be much sleep happening here lately either. I hope you can have a relaxing day.
Well, as I said the boys had me up early, Elliot is back in bed but the other two are up making lots of noise, how Elliot sleeps through all this I don't know.
Hope everyone has a good day. Chat soon.
Hey Chickies
here is the pram (http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e329/tara-jane/LJ/DSC02913.jpg) i got. I love the green.
But Anna i didnt even think to look into a toddler seat..... grrr, oh well will wait and see what happens.
Karen you ARE up early.... then again it was prob 6 at your place.
Monique - ohh wouldnt that be fun, going through it all over again together!!
Leanne, ill add you to facebook soonish.
Great time of year to pick up all the extra waxing and massage - the cash will come in handy for sure.
Toni - Way to go Bryce!! TT might be easier than you anticipated.
Ally - i think i might try the wet bags and see if its any better - thanks for the tip.
Also you might know.... my microfibre boosters reak.... like really bad. NO matter how long i leave them out in the sun/fresh air for, I can still smell them.
Any tips?? And Yes i do a hot wash.
Anna - tricked ya and made a whole thread so we can see all the bubs and santa :p
Hello to everyone else, i really must go i have to have shower etc Im going over to OM's place for a nappy making lesson. I can sew, but happy to take on a few pointers.
Hello Ladies!
I feel really youck at the moment. I slept in this morning as Kira has stayed home as she has dancing rehersals right after school this afternoon and then the concert is on tomorrow and Saturday night. Anyhow because I slept in a bit to long I feel like I am still really tired and just wanna go back to bed. You know the feeling?
Ally - Boof sounds a bit like Bryce throwing himself around when he gets grumpy now. Have fun with the sewing after xmas.
Leanne - Your so lucky to have Jordan sleeping so well for you. I think I jinx myself every time Bailey has a good couple of nights and then I say something and then bam he is awake every night after that again. I also have facebook so if you want to pm me your details I will add you to mine. That goes to any of the other ladies as well.
Monique - I know what you mean about the xmas tree. Kira keeps bugging me asking when we are going to put it up. It's just so busy here at the moment with her and her dancing rehersals and the concert being tomorrow and Saturday night.
jkate - Bailey was awake at 5 this morning. I was like my god go back to sleep. I just put him in bed with me and DH, gave him a bottle and half hour of playing after he finished his bottle he was back asleep again for about an hour, then up again and Kira took him out with her till I got up just before 9.
Tj - Love the pram!
Hello to everyone else and sorry if I missed any of you on the personals.
Anyhow I am going to go have to go and get a few things done around the house before it gets to hot here then sit down and get these xmas pressies finished.
Toni - Way to go Bryce!! TT might be easier than you anticipated.
I certainly hope so......My grandma and DH's mum have both told me that it is harder to toilet train boys over girls. So :fingerscrossed:.

Ooooh the pram is funky !
Yeah sometimes Boof's nappies get a bit rank i think its when it heats up & their wee's become potent.
My suggestion is that you look at whether you are using too much powder/liquid first because sometimes its a detergent build up that causes issues. So try another rinse through or even a strip wash to see what happens.
If thats not working & they are still rank then you can use a canestan rinse this often works wonders. Otherwise as last case scenario which i have had to do every so often. Using only your inserts separately let them soak in some Napisan first then give them a really thorough wash with a good hot rinse. But only make sure you do this with your inserts cause the Napisan will kill your nappies !
But often enough working out your powder/liquid does the trick because sometimes you need a lot less than you realise !
Can rashes be caused from teething?....I don't remember the other kids getting rashes like Bailey has got.
Can rashes be caused from teething?....I don't remember the other kids getting rashes like Bailey has got.
Where is it? What does it look like?
If you are worry but don't want to be waiting at the doctors or emergency, can you get to a chemist. I have take my boys to our local chemist a few times, and they are always a great help.
It's pretty much all over his body. In his hair over his face and everything...I just made an appointment with the doctor for 2pm.....Even if it is nothing then at least it puts my mind at ease.
Let us know how it goes. :hugs:
Will do....I'm sure everything will be fine, I just wanna make sure though.
Oh TJ that is the funkiest pram Ive ever seen!!! No wonder you bought it!!!
Toni- Hope poor lil B gets better, rashes always freak me out too.
Jkate- Lets hope we find each other on face book! I cant believe how many have my name LOL!!!
Well I better go out and get some groceries or we wont be eating tonight! LOL!

Hey ladies!! I havn't posted in a day and already so much :ecomcity:
TJ ,love the pram Lochie looks gorgeous in it! AWhat Ally said in re to stinky nappies!! You just gotta work out the right amount to use. Also, I was using fab powder to wash with, but I changed to Earth Care liquid wash which is phosphate and enzyme free, and I noticed a difference in he nappies almost immediately!
Toni, hope your lil man is ok! Let us know how you go at the Drs!!
Jkate, love the xmas pic of your boys with Santa. I gotta get A and chloe to have one with him too!:D
Jorbai, you're brave doing groceries on your own with the boys, I don't even bother going alone with the girls, I'm ot brave enough!
Julz, hope you're feeling better hun!:hugs:
Well I finally managed to get a few pics of Ariane in her Baptism nappy that our lovely Julz made ;)

I absolutely love mink, its so soft and cuddly!!
girls are wanting my attention, bbl to catch up more!!
Just a quick one as I have a few things I need to get done. Will catch up on personals later.
Bailey has Eczema. Dr said it was most likely brought on by his imunisations an to just bath him in water without any bath soaps and stuff. And to keep woolen type clothes off him.

Well after another trip to the doctors today Boof actually had a nap * falls over *
The funny thing was i put him in his room for quiet time which is an hour so i laid down with Squeak to get him off to sleep in our bed as he was unsettled. I feel asleep & woke up two hours later in shock lol !
I was then able to go downstairs & get Squeak organised for his next feed before Boof woke up. Was awesome & really energised me especially after the last week of little to no sleep !
I just now hope Squeak sleeps better tonite. Its really horrible knowing that he is in pain & overtired to boot. Im now giving him Gaviscon with every feed to see whether that helps along with the Zantac etc. I really really wish this wasnt so hard. I thought the second child was meant to be easier etc !!!!
Toni - Poor Bailey :hugs: Hope it settles down soon.
Linda - A looks adorable ! I am so freaking jealous ! I soooo hoped in some ways to have a girl this time around to have all the pretty nappies etc heh. Oh wells.
Julie - What a gorgeous nappy ! I shall be harassing you when i get my sewing machine !
Ok well im thinking i may head off to bed early tonite cause Boof has actually fallen asleep already so it means i can hopefully grab a few hours before Squeak wakes !
Have a great weekend everyone ! We are hoping to get Santa photos done so will share them around when i get them !
Thanks for all your support i appreciate it :hugs:
Another early start for me today, Elliot decided that 4.30 was a lovely time to start his wakeup routine and then both DS1 and DS2 were wide awake at 5.00!! And DH is in middle of a 9 days straight of work - sending me crazy!!! Anyway could be worse, so I will stop whinging now.
Ally: Hope you got some sleep hun, I really do hope things start to get better soon.:hugs:
Lil xmen: How long is your fIL there for? Hope you he doesn't make too much extra work for you - my dad would.
Toni: Poor little guy, but at least you know whats wrong with him and can start from there. Just be careful of when you start him on solids, some babies with excema are more likely to have allergies. I don't want to scare you, just something to keep an extra eye out for.
cmd'smum: when is Ariane's Baptism? That nappy is so cute!!
JorBai: You seem to have got the hang of facebook better then I have and have a lot more friends  I just don't seem to have the time to get to involved in it, lots happening and have a few projects in photoshop I want to do. When things settle down, I might get stuck into it.
TJ:Oh you are going to be pregnant, I have now have good friends due in June and July sooooooo your next in August!! That makes 3!!
Oh goodness, its only just pass 6 and DS2 is throwing his first tantrum!!!!:hissy:Better get going. Have a lovely day everyone.
Hello Ladies!
Bailey's skin has cleared up overnight. I don't think he has a really bad case of it as the doctor did not prescribe anything for it and to just bath him in water.
Julie - HAve fun with your FIL. Hope the kids enjoy having him around for a little while. Well Xavier anyhow.
Ally - :yelclap: To boof for having a nap......You really needed that down time.
Karen - Don't you just love the early morning. I feel like i'm walking around like a zombie if i'm up any earlier than 7 lol. And the Dr did ask if I had started him on solids (which I have) and said that it could be why the Eczema has come out as welland to keep an eye on what foods I give him and when the Eczema flares up.
He is having farex in the morning and half a tin of the heinz baby foods at night. He's eating alot I know lol. But if he does not have the 2 meals he drinks a 250 ml bottle 4 or 5 times a day and is still looking for more after the bottle is gone. He is now down to 180ml bottle being 1 with his farex in the morning and then drinks the rest of it out of the bottle. 2 during the day and then his heinz food at around 5ish and then another bottle around 8pm before he's ready for bed for the night and then he wakes at around 1am or 4am depending if he sleeps through or not.
I just don't know how much more Bailey can go through and still be such a happy little bub. He is just as happy as he was before he started getting everything that he has gotten.
Anyhow I have some things I need to get done. Hello to the rest of the ladies, hope your all well and take care.
Toni: With the night solids, go back to the basics. Mashed some spud up and put in a ice cubes tray freeze it, do the same with pumpkin and sweet potato (separately). See how goes a couple of nights of just one of these. Then mix in one of the others, then if everything is fine the third one. Plain potato is probably the best to start with. Then gradually add some of vegetables. from your dinner. Keep note of what he has and look for any reactions.
Have a look on the net, even here on BH to see what foods can cause Eczema. - I think there is a section for eczema they will be able to help.
:hugs: Lets hope he doesn't get it too much.
Toni - glad the rash has settled, but like Jkate said, try just one food at a time, and see if he reacts.
Is the tin he had 2 nights ago have something in it that he hasnt had before??

Hi July mummies
Toni glad the rash has settled down for Bailey.
Tj when are you going to test have you got any signs of pregnancy yet.
Well not much is going on here i hope everyne is well and i will talk to you lovly ladies later
Monique.
The tin of food he had a couple of nights ago was a lamb and vege one. He don't like it anyhow so ?I won't get that again for him lol. When I get time as it is really busy here over the next few days I will get in the kitchen and do the potatoes and pumpkin ub for him. Kira has her dance concert over the next 2 days and I have my 2 1/2 y/o niece here today and we are going to the concert tomorrow night.
PMSL TJ!!! You didn't even think about a toddler seat and you're TTC?! You sure you're not already pregnant?!! Well enjoy the pram while you can because you may not have that one for long either!
Leanne - good to hear that Jordan got some use from those jumpsuits! They were just the wrong size for the season for Alex. So glad to hear he's sleeping through the night too - that's good work!
Monique - I know this is a little late, but I'm so sorry to hear of your m/c. I can't believe you're going again so soon after Tyran! I think I've about given up on having anymore, DH is VERY content with the 4 and voice this quite often - especially during my moments of cluckiness . I had a look at the link in your sig and your kids are just so gorgeous!
Toni - I hope you're feeling better today and that Kira doesn't bug you too much to put up the Christmas tree up! Well done for Bryce and the TT as well! Clever little man! I thought the rash might have had something to do with immunisations - it's so common. But I've never heard of getting eczema from it though - but glad to hear that it cleared up by itself! I hope he doesn't get it again after his 6 mth immunisations.
Oh I didn't know that Bailey was on solids already! Goodness he must be a hungry boy! When I give Alex a bottle I give him 240ml and he has all of that - my formula tin says for 4-6mths 240ml water, 4 scoops, 5 feeds a day so I reckon it'd be fine to give Bailey 250ml bottle if he's hungry for it. I've missed a lot of stuff lately so I don't know what Bailey had - I hope he's ok though.
Julie - Xav looks so cute in your av! Love the camo nappy! And well done on the one for Ariane!
Ally - LOL about Boof napping! He must have sensed thst mummy needed a break! Glad you got to rest - I'd kill for a nap even just once a month!
Karen you poor girl! I can understand Elliot waking up early but the other two? NO WAY! I'd have marched my kids back to bed and shut to door! :D Hope they all have mega long naps today for you!
Cmd - lovely photos! How cute is Ariane but of course you already knew that!
We've had a couple of busy days here - Alex is still not 100% although you wouldn't know it to look at him - he's still so happy. The last few mornings at about 4-5am is when he starts coughing and it's a very rattley cough. If he does the same thing over night then I'm going to take him for a check up tomorrow morning. His eyes look clear now but I'm still giving the drops but Chelsea has complained for the last 2 nights that her eye is sore and scratchy so I'm giving her some drops too - although she seems to be fine during the day, it could be just the hayfever going around.
Alex woke at 5am for a quick feed this morning and that was after going to bed at 7.30pm so that was a mighty good effort! He's getting there, :fingerscrossed: he goes a little longer tonight!
Well must get myself ready. DH took the car to get fixed today (just some minor paint scratches fixed) and silly me decided she wants to go to the shops so I'm taking all 4 kids on a bus in an hour to meet DH in town. What the hell am I thinking?! Wish me luck!
Anna - best of luck on the bus today!!
YES what an idiot for not thinking about the toddler seat!! BLah oh well!!
Monique - nope, no symptoms what so ever.
Have had a throbbing head ache since yesty morning, but i dont think thats any way related.
Toni - yah maybe just stear clear of that one for a while.
Have fun at the concerts.
I think L is about to cut a tooth, however its down the bottom about 3 away from the middle, a lovely hard red lump..... oh the joys of it all
TJ: I hope he isn't getting that tooth, and it just going up and down. Cross cutting suxs!! Actually the whole teething process is yucky poor little bubs!!
Anna: Your CRAZY LOL:laughing: Enjoy the bus!! Thankfully the boys did have a sleep but could have been a bit long, but at least they did sleep today.
Toni: Hope that help, I have some really good information about solids if you are interested, was given to me when I had DS1 from the baby health nurse, and it helped so much. I even got it out when I had DS2. And will be using it as a reference again with Elliot.

Hey everyone, i havent realy posted much in here, my last bub was born July 31st 2007.
Happy birthday girls !!!!!!
Our lil man is now having solids everyday and loving it, he has been sleping better now he is getting more full up. His weight gain was really slow there for a while but now he is putting it back on and loking chuby again!
He can roll over, from back to front and back again, he has almost cut his first tooth and has been drooling non stop!
He is enjoying tummy time more and manages to wriggle himself aroud the room.
He has a jolly jumper and walker now so he likes spending time in those and it wears him out nicely!
We are really looking forward to xmas this year, i think this is such a fun age now they interact more and want to play!
Whats everyone got your bubs for xmas?
He is

Ally, glad to hear boof has given you a bit of a break, hope he is coming out of the phase he is going through ATM. Chloe's behaviour has been terrible too, I'm also getting bashed by my 2 yo!!:geek: Some days are better than others, I just hope they calm down soon!! Yeah girly things are too cute, hey, you never know, you might get a girl next time round! If you do, you can have my girly nappies, I'm pretty sure I don't want anymore kidlets, specially after the last few weeks!:hair:
jkate, A's baptism is Jan 6, the ceremony is organised but I still havn't organised the "party" after the ceremony, as I'm not sure if we will be in our new house or not!
monique, I think congratulations are in order ;)
toni, I agree with jakte re the solids, one food at a time apparently, so if bub does have a reaction, you know which food it was that caused it. Hope Bailey is doing well! Oh and what Chenicimo said, if Bailey wants another bottle, don't feel bad giving it to him, even if it's a little more than what is recommened for his age, as you know that's a general guide and ever bub is dif.
Anna, hope gorgeous alex is much better today. You're right, he does look so mature  You're a brave woman taking 4 kidlets on a bus, I'm such a woos, I've only got two and I rarely go out because it's so much hard work, considering that Chloe is going through a "I'm 2 going on to 30" attitude lately.
TJ, Hope Lochie's teeth don't give him too much grief, poor bubba!!
And there goes A, waking and :crying:
bbl!!
Arghhhhhh, what a day.
I really really want to post heaps of personals, but have to see how I go for now.
TJ - TTC is so cool, I love the mystery of it all, the TWW is exciting. Good luck with it all over the next few months (cos that's all you'll prob need). Oh and good luck with L's teeth cutting, poor little bubba. Hope those Teething Tablets are working for him...I forgot to get some from you to try and couldn't find them at the shops today anywhere. Oh and I love your new pram, how cool...where did you get it?
Toni - so sorry to hear bubs got a rash, that's awful...my DD has had a couple here and there too and not even on solids yet, formula trouble or excema or something is my guess. Good luck finding what's causing it. I found that LIttle B isn't very good with Rice Cereal, causes her tummy upsets and bad wind so I have stopped for now.
Leanne - what is Facebook? ha,ha sounds funny and complicated. How is little J? He is just the happiest baby on the block that little guy.
Chenicimo - it feels like ages since I have heard from you, glad you are here, how did it go today with all of the kids out on the bus? Must be tired?
Jkate - I feel you mate with these early morning starts...argh...my DS gets up around 5am lately and ONLY MUMMY will do, meantime Daddy is up anyway and DD sleeps in until after 7am. Oh well, at least we get some nice cuddle time together.
Julie - missed you and Z man the other day, how are you feeling? Hope all getting better at your end.
Hope you get along with your FIL too, bet you do, you seem to get along with anyone :)
Allyoo - How cool re the nap time he,he. How is Squeak going with his feeding and reflux now?
Hi Monique, glad you popped in.
Well have a great week-end everyone...I will leark around when I can.
Seeya.
Can't chat much tonight - DH and I are supposed to be painting a bedroom wall (just one feature wall but we're doing the undercoat tonight).
My bus trip went really well actually! I put Alex in the front pack and the two older girls held hands. Immy was really apprehensive so in the end I had to pick her up and throw her on the bus but as soon as she saw the older two get on some seats she was fine! It was such a novelty for her to not wear a seatbelt and she really enjoyed looking out the window.
Took us about 1/2 hour to get to town and I could have fallen asleep on the bus! DH was in town to meet us then we went and bought a chest of drawers from Immy's room (as you do LOL!) then went and did some late night shopping.
All the kids are well and truely in bed now so I'm off to help DH paint.
Before I go:
Boymum - thanks and good to see you're still around too! How have you and bubs been? Oh and where have you been - you don't know what facebook is?! LOL! It's too addictive! Don't try and find out!
cmd - I hope Ariane sleeps well for you tonight! Never say never about having more children, one day the might just be that desire once more!
Hockeytribe - hello! Sounds like your bubba is very active! I also have 4 kiddies and I find that Alex (my youngest) is very alert and always wants to see what's going on or wants to get somewhere. He's been rolling around for a while and loves moving himself about the place!
Karen - at least the boys slept a little! Cheer up, it's Friday! I demand that you're allowed a sleep in tomorrow!
TJ - I'm still having a good old giggle about the pram and toddler seat! Sorry but I'm so much of a practical mum that it's the first thing I thought about! You either had a blonde moment or you're pregnant. If it was neither then I'm sorry, but you're in big trouble! LMAO!
Ok night girls!
xoxo
Well anna, im at least blonde!!
Not sure about the preg part yet....!
Although the new pram has a BIG basket underneath if worst comes to worst ;)

Anna, good to hear your day went well! I wish Chloe would go to bed early so Dh and I can have some alone time!! What colour you painting the feature wall? I know, never say never, but right now, I am the most uncluckiest woman in the world!
Thankgod it's the weekend!!!:yelclap: Hope you all have a good one!
Thank all of you ladies for all your suggestions with Bailey. It is appreciated and I will be trying them out in the next couple of days after the concert is over and done with when I have some spare time to cook it all up. Karen if I could get taht info from you that would be great.

Wow what a chatty bunch tonight!!
Just want to welcome Hockeytribe to the group and hope you stick around a bit to get to know everyone, this is a great bunch of girls here!
Well for all of you asked, yes I do along with my FIL. I lost my dad when I was 18months old so have never had a father in my life ( apart from a stupid step father for a few years when I was a kid, wont go there). Anyhoo my FIL is the most wonderful person, always there to talk when you need him and Karen he is great around the place lol, lucky me huh!!! I look forward to his trips over actually coz he loves to get stuck into projects around the yard and house very handy:thumbsup:
Anna - I am glad your bus trip turned out better than anticipated, you are brave. I hate going on the bus, the last time I did was when only had one child and that was hard enough!
leanne I see you found me on Facebook. Yep I am on there too, but dont use it vey often I sort of haven't get time to sit and figure it all out yet.
Hello everyone else sorry this is a short post but again I must be social while I have fmaily here, I dont get to see them very often!
BTW Zekes chest infection is improving, and I am feeling hoo hum, getting better I suppose still feeling blaah though.:dizzy:
Glad your feeling better Julie....:fingerscrossed: your all well soon.

Thanks Toni!!:hugs:
Hope Baileys excema is ok and doesnt flare up to often, poor thing and a hassle for you too. I have been lucky so far "touchwood" in that the boys haven't any allergies and all food I introduced went down well. Even strawberries!! When Xavier was 6months old I gave him some wrapped in muslin cloth.I had no idea they were a no no food woops!! He was fine though and loves them to this day lol.
I haven't tried any solids on Ezekiel yet though so he could be entirely different, am not going to bother until he is 6months but heres hoping he takes to everything ok.
Hm supposed to be socialising with family but I am on here, I think I have a problem.
OOk my name is Julie and I am a bubhubaholic..............:p
ETA - FIL ( bless him) tried to give Zeke a taste of chocolate ice cream today Arrrgh, I didnt want to say anything but NOOOOOOOOOOO he cant have ice cream, luckily Zeke wasnt impressed and screwed up his face so he didnt try to give him anymore!! It's the older generation they just want to ram all sorts of food down bubs throats lol!!!
Well well well...I have an addiction to facebook:banghead: Im so mad at Darren for showing it to me! Altho I have now contacted so many old friends from Victoria, bit of a blast from the past really!
Ange- J is going great. I cant get over how much he smiles and squeals now! He certainly is a happy lil chappy! How is the ever beautiful Brianna going?
Julz- Hope your well and truly on the mend! And poor lil Zeke but Im glad he is getting better too. And OMG your fil giving Zeke ice cream! MEN LOL!!!! Bet in a few short years Zeke will not be screwing up his face but screaming for more!!! And I have found you on facebook hun, but if you give me your surname Ill run a search and add you!
Karen- I know my friends list is growing and I have barely added people! I just keep getting requests from people i havent heard from in years! Im spending way too much time on it tho!
Toni- Poor lil Bailey, hope he is much better now you have seen the Dr. Im going to be more cautious with food for J. With Bailey he was fine I just gave him everything.
Anna- Glad your bus trip went well I totally envy your courage as Id be scared to do a bus trip with only 2 let alone 4!!! Well done hun!
TJ- How is TTC going? I miss the TTC stuff actually now Im the opposite freaking out all the time that our lack of contraception might fail someday. :fingerscrossed: that you get your BFP soon babe!!!! Lochie is gonna be the best older bro!
Welcome to our beautiful group hockeytribe! We are all such a lovely bunch and get along very well!
Things going great here I have lost 7.2kgs so far and tried all my old pants on and some are even too big for me:smiliedance: I should be at my goal weight around 50kgs by Christmas then I will let loose over chrissy and keep exercising so hopefully wont put too much on!
I really should go to bed, I am tired every morning, possibly sitting on her til all hours...:o
Luv u all xox
LOL TJ! Well at least that basket would last for about - ohhh - 3 months! Good luck and I hope you can put a toddler seat on the pram, otherwise, HELLOOOO ebay!
cmd - I don't usually catch a bus, we have 1 (large) car, a Kia Grand Carnival, which is usually at home with me (school runs and all) but DH was getting some minor paint repairs done and we decided to go meet him after work and buy a chest of drawers for DD#3's new room. She's just turned 2 and is still in the nursery in the cot but she's about to go into the 'playroom' in a big girl bed. The room is painted a lovely fresh off white with a deep red feature wall, but we decided it was time for a change and we're painting it a lovely fresh, light & airy apple green. I've taken a couple of before photos so I might post some when we're completely done!
Toni - enjoy your daughters concerts this weekend and I hope to hear that you're going well with the solids next week.
Julie - Oh I must have missed that Zeke had a chest infection! Oh I hope the poor little man is better soon! I think if Alex starts coughing again at 5am like he has been I'll take him to the Dr in the morning to get him checked out. He's been to the Dr this week for his conjunctivitis and I told them about his cold but it seems to be worse (more over night) and not better.
PMSL about the FIL trying to give chocolate ice cream by the way! Very funny! I'm sure he means well though! (offering food was VERY different when his kids were young, not so many allergies diagnosed etc).
Well I sure as hell hope that this message makes sense. Shane has just poured me my 3rd "Moore" glass of wine ("Moore" meaning HUGE!) and I'm scoffing down some light Pringles because I'm starving! If Alex wakes overnight I've told DH he's under strict orders to make up a bottle althoug he thinks that by 5am (Alex's current wake up time) I'll be fine (could very well be but still . . .)
Better get moving, not very tired but should hit the sack (after this glass of vino!)
xoxo
I am still sitting up waiting for Kira to come home from dancing. I am soooooo tired and just want to go to bed.
