Hi,

Are there any "new mums to be" or mums with experience in the Geelong Region? I have just found out that I am 8 weeks pregnant, due 15/06/2008. Would love to chat to other locals about services etc that are available as its my first and could use all the help I can get.

Hi, Congrats on your pregnancy also. We're aren't exactly sure if we are going private or public yet...I have an appointment with my GP on Friday where I hope to get some info and also referral to hospital or OB. Had an appointment last week with different GP from the practice and he was hopeless, he organised tests and thats it, and he just said that he doesn't deal with pregnacy that I should make another appointment. Its kind of daunting at the moment because I still don't know if everything is ok, considering that I was really sick (not just from morning sickness) on our recent honeymoon I'm at a bit of a loss with what I should be doing. Hopefully my GP will be more directive. Anyway sorry just blabbing on here. I'll keep in touch.
