:hair:

I love him. I loveloveLOVE him. He's gorgeous, he's funny, he's smart, he loves his mummy, he loves his sissy, he loves our new cat Tracey ( "eh-oh tay-tee" ) and he still loves his Bitty.

But...... lately, this is his new thing: Feed for 30 seconds on lefty, sit up and say "bye bye bitty" and pull my t-shirt down, then pull it up on the other side and say "dis bitty?" :hair: then feed for 30 seconds on righty, sit up and say "bye bye bitty" and pull my t-shirt down, then pull it up on the other side and say "dis bitty?" :hair: etc etc ad infinitum for about 10 minutes, or until he must finally get some of the hindmilk from one of them, and gets sleepy on it.

*SIIIIGH* It's just ANNOYING. But cute, the talking :D but ANNOYING.

Does anyone else's breastfed toddler do this??

Cobey likes to "MEEEEEESH! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH" and so I'll sit down, lift top, three sucks and he pulls off, says "BIG PIG" (a la "who's a good pig" from homer) and then blows a raspberry and laughs. Ratbag.

Chuckie is a bit younger and not quite up there with the cute words yet...

BUT

We go, slurp slurp, look at Luka, slurp slurp, giggle at Luka.

Take him out of the same room as Luka.

Slurp slurp, where's Luka?

Chuckie, you have one job... please pay attention to it :D.

Omg YES!
It is SO annoying!
Especially when we are out in public, her constant switching means I'm exposed to the world, poor people
She thinks she's so clever doing it.
In the morning, in bed when I have no top on or have lifted it up, she looks from one to the other, deciding which she'll go for first!

For some reason my 22 month old DS is happy with a wake-up boobie and that's it-doesn't ask for or seem to want it at any other time.
But, we have had various "phases" with differing behaviour. I would think this is one of those phases and it will pass in a month or two.
With all three of my babies, I found most phases last around three months-and then a new one begins!:D

Oh Queenie I hear ya :hair:

BOTH my girls do it but Taliyah is the worst. She's only 12 months so not quite there with the talking yet, but every night before bed she will hop on the left side suck for about 2 minutes, sit up lay down on the right side, 2 minutes back to the left side again and this continues pretty much until she's asleep :hair: It drives me NUTS!! DF even tries to take her, thinking she is only playing but it doesn't work!

As for Summer, she will have nunu's one side then sit up and go 'Other Side Mummy!' and back to the other side, it only happens about 4 times which is O.K considering Taliyah's game :banghead:

I'm sorry, I can't stop laughing!!! That is just too cute! I'm sure it must be very frustrating for you, but for us it is a good laugh!

I have heard that they do this because they know it encourages faster letdown. Smart little buggers :D
