Hi Jenny.
I live in South Penrith and I have a 12month old DS, Angelo. There are actually a few mums from around the Penrith area who have talked about starting a mothers group but christmas came and schedules got very hectic. Glad the topic has been brought up again!

Hi Girls
Hope you and your beautiful babies are doing well. I have been MIA for the past couple of weeks as I have gone back to work fulltime and have just been flat out. Hopefully I will get some time during the week to sit and reply to some of the posts. I am coping fairly well looking after Byron and going back to work, I am just so tired all the time.
Jaydensmum - Thanks for the welcome to bubhub. I am from Cranebrook, looking forward to chatting with you.
Well girls have a good night sleep and will hopefully catch up with you soon.

Hi Girls
Sorry I have been a bit slack with posting. But I have gone back to work and have been flat out trying to do everything. Looking after Byron and DH and doing things for work, contrary to the belief that teachers only work 9-3 I have been so busy. Getting together after Easter sounds good as I will be on holidays (Yay two full weeks with Byron, I am really looking forward to it) and really want to meet some other mums in the area. I live in Cranebrook and used to live in Cambridge Park, my parents still live there.
Hope to talk soon

Hay girls.. I have had a long day and I am looking forward to getting to bed...
I would love to catch up after easter.... I will have to find my diary ..hmm ok
Cant do the 19th as I have playgroup in penrith but thursday the 20th is cool. I live right in the heart of Penrith. Near the Rsl!
I am stuffed... going to bed.. Night girls
-Kay
Well the 20th is looking good for all of us at the moment, is everyone happy with that? We'll probably meet up at the plaza for convenience and ease of parking. I'll PM everyone closer to the date with a time.
Let me know of any nap times that your little munchkins have, so we can work around them. AJ usually has his around 11.30, but he can sleep anywhere, so i'm not too worried about when we go.

cool..... 10am sounds good... the latest I can go to the Gym is 12.30 casue the crech finishes at 2pm so I would love to get an hour and a half in at the gym :)
Happy Easter too, how is everyone doing today?
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f398/buffanau/HappyEaster2.jpg
I went to the Royel Easter Show - Sydney on friday for my birthday and darren my ex paied for everything thank you !!!
I went on one scarie ride and one normal ride..... it was loads fun but too much for me..... unlike the Ekka at brisbane (royal brisbane show) it is just a load of streets and we ended up going in circles and missed heaps of things.
It was just tooo confusing and spent alot of the time looking at the Map. I dont think I will go again and I will just travel to QLD for the Ekka LOL..........
I didnt end up going to bed till about one am this sat morning... and Woke up to Elijah at 7.30 am I had been up early yesterday to pack lunch for the show so I really needed sleep. But look at me now and i am up at 11.33pm the next night LOL
I didnt even relise just how late it was ,,,,. I wanted to get an early night in but I ended up watching "Hotel Babylon" Which I think that I may get hooked on... LOL not like Desperate House wives which I have not missed an ep agian yet... (The only one I missed I was in labor with Elijah but I have watched it now as I got the box set for christmas)
Happy easter again.
-Kay

Anyone else coming?
Anywhere in particular any one wants to meet up? Anything people want to do?
I'm happy with coffee and a chat, We could get a T/A coffee (or drink of your choice-I don't drink coffee, but a chai would be wonderful) and have it in the park if it is a nice day. I'll bring a blanket for the munchkins to roll around on.
I'll PM everyone tomorrow night with the details

It was nice to meet up even though there weren't many of us. The two I met were lovely and welcoming, Thanks Mel and Jen, it was nice to have a chat and a coffee.
Boys must be the flavour at the moment not many girl bubbas out there. I'm about the add to the boy population too.
Look forward to meeting again,
Mel x
I agree! I like the idea of meeting up at eachothers for a coffee, one week here, one week there, it would be nice.
You wouldn't believe it, or maybe you would, AJ stopped crying te moment he got in the car  . Ofcourse he wouldn't do it while I am trying to enjoy a chai. At least I got some peace for the drive home.:smiliedance:

Was it me or kayne that scared him?. Did he have a nap and give you a break????
I was hoping no-one I was meeting today was bald. Kayne screams at anyone who is bald and a man. I was lucky wasn't I.
Pest control coming tommorrow and he's bald Kayne's going to child care.!!!
Best of luck,
Mel:rolleyes:
 I love it! baldness!!! hehe, it's amazing what they're scared of. AJ hates doors opening and closing if he is tired.
he finally fell asleep about 30mins ago :smiliedance:

Hi Girls
Mel and Mel it was good to meet you today. Sorry I had to go early. I didnt end up meeting my cousin afterall she was having a few pains so she didnt want to go out just in case it was the start of something. Did you end up going for coffee? Well Byron and I just watched finding nemo and now he is asleep, well he enjoyed watching the lights and colours so I think I will go and have a sleep to. Have a good night and rest of the week. Hope your having a good day. Let me know when you want to meet up. I am going back to work next week so I will only be available this week, Wednesday and Friday is best as tomorrow I am going into work to get set up and organised. Byron slept from 9-7 last night yay! He woke at around 3 and had trouble going back to sleep but I gave him a pat and he was out until 7.
Hope everyone is well.

Yay for you. Isn't it like all the christmas's have come at once when they sleep through for the first time.
Good on you for going back to work so early. :yelclap: I don't know if I could do it! I worked up until I was 38 weeks pregnant and found it extreamly difficult (although I did have pre-eclampsia at the time).
How about we look at doing Friday, have an early lunch around 11.30?

Hi Girls
I hope that you are all having a good week. I have been mia for the last few days, I have been busy trying to get ready to go back to work (YUCK). Byron has been sleeping for 8 hours at night, DH and I have had so much sleep that we are tired from it (but I am not complaining I feel as thought I am finally catching up on that lost sleep, touch wood he will probably be a pain tonight)
Hope you and your bubs are all well.

Hi Girls
Well I had a good day back at work. I missed Byron all day though, but when I picked him up he was all smiles. It was a school development day so it was a pretty easy day, just lots of preparation for the term. I am looking forward to having my year 3 class.
A big hello to everyone sorry can't spend to long on here today I have heaps to do. Oh the life of a working mum. Have a good night all.

Hi Girls
It has been pretty quiet in here. I have been so busy at work trying to get my programs and reports done. I am so tired. I then come home watch Big brother and fall asleep on the lounge.
Byron is doing well, he is talking, rolling, laughing and enjoying his farex. How is everyone elses beautiful babies going? Did anyone see the gorgeous boy in the Tonka Truck on page 33 of thats life magazine? Its Byron. I sent the photo in a few months ago and they were not sure if they were going to use it. I saw it the other day and I got so excited. We get a box of snugglers nappies.
Mrs Little and Leanne - Welcome to the group. We have had one meet. I am a working mum so I am not availabe to meet during the week. I am a teacher. But school holidays are coming up in 5 weeks and I can't wait. I would be happy to meet then.
Melbryan - How long till you are due? Must be getting close. How are things going with you?
Well I am of shopping this morning and have lots to do before I go. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hi Everyone,
I pretty much gave up on this forum as everyone's so busy.
leanne, I too live in Glenmore park. Would love to meet up- do you go to any playgroups. I go to two down at the Floribunda Community Center.
How's all the bubs doing? Bailey is almost up on his knees, eating rice cereal twice a day and trying to climb up on things. He's also just started waking up at odd hours of the nigt time. Don't know why, could be too cold in his room or (:fingerscrossed: ) teething- no teeth as yet.
Well, look forward to hearing from you guys. Have a good week.
