hey there can anyone help. We have just moved our almost 12 month old onto toddler milk. Over the last few days he seems to be having some trouble going and it seems quite pale in colour. He drinks quite alot of water (thank goodness) but am wondering if I need to change his formula. he has been drinking karicare since he as born.

Thanks heaps

The toddler milk has more 'casein' than 'whey'
Infant toddler milk has more 'whey' than 'casein'...
The casein is the culprit for causing constipation when first introduced...
Sometimes it's best to introduce it over 3 days to ensure that the body handles it better...
What has happened is completely normal... Even drinking a lot of water sometimes doesn't prevent it...
Go and get some Prune juice. For a 1 year old I'd give a cup of half and half... This will soften everything up...
Continue with the toddler milk as your little one will be fine, of course it's up to you...
You can give the juice second daily after about a week you should find he manages much better...
I remember my son having the exact same problem when i put him on cows milk even though it was diluted.. He went pale and had a sickly tummy when he tried to go and couldn't...
The prune juice was great and after a few day's he was fine...

All the best...:)
