is this normal???

i read in one of the thousand pregnancy books i have that it is normal to have vaginal discharge throughout pregnancy.(it said some women experience this and some dont) At the start of my pregnancy i had a small white thick color discharge which the doctor said was normal, but as time goes on,(i'm 34wks pregnant with my first) it seems to have gotten worse..... some days i change up to 4 times a day as there is a hell of a lot more than just a spot, and other days it seems to be more liquid like(it almost feels like I've wet myself & i have no control over it at all!) and is an off white color..... is this normal???? i really dont want to have to bring this up with my doctor....... :confused:

very normal - just find really good panty liners (the incontinence ones are more absorbant than the normal ones but are not bulky)

Everything sounds pretty normal. I'm 38 weeks and experiencing the same thing. I am having a little trouble with incontinence as well as the discharge and it sounds like you may be as well. My last bub was rather large and this one is as well and it hasn't done much for my pelvic floor. Keep up with your exercises and it will help with incontinence. As suggested by "draught" incontinence panty liners are great. They will help you feel a bit fresher, especially in hot weather.
