Hi there,
It is nice that a few more of us are joining up and reading and contributing to this thread. It will be nice to see how other Mums are coping. It is funny, some days I think I am doing a great job and others I feel just as confused as ever! I think perhaps it has to do with how much sleep I get! Ben is 9 weeks old this week and is doing lovely smiles now! You can read about his sleeping issues in the sleeping/settling thread. I also had about 4-5 weeks of troubles with breastfeeding - he just wouldn't attach well so made it very painful for me - he was getting plenty of milk though. I perservered and by about the 5 week mark realised we could do it pain free - hurrah!
How is everyone else coping? It is a whole new world for me and I just have to take it one day at a time. I am starting a parenting class run by a local child health clinic in Brisbane in a couple of weeks so hopefully will meet some other first time mums there.
