How do or did you feed your child/children?

Not sure if this has already been done before but this post is purely for my own personal interest.

I am curious to know how everyone here on Bub Hub feeds or fed their child/children :rolleyes:. Eg BF, FF, Both, etc. I don't want any type of us v them, I am genuinly (is that how you spell it :o ) interested in seeing the results.

I was just thinking one day, that I wouldn't mind seeing how many of us here BF, FF, EBM F, and so on. I'm sorry in advance for anyone who get's offended by this post.

I added this in after the below 2 posts. Which did you do for the main part of the first 12 months of thier lives? For eg. I BF both my babies for a short period but FF them for about 11 months so I chose FF.

I actually did all of those.

I breast fed....

I expressed breast milk on ocassions and fed..

I then alternated between breast and formula fed, as advised by a doctor!

I then solely Formula fed...

And from 12 months he only ocasionally has formula in his milk, now its plain old cows milk, full cream!

We use all of the above with DD, so I answered other.

She has breast in the morning, at her 2 pm feed she has formula and then at her 5pm feed she has EBM, and on the odd occasion I am runnin glow in the morning we comp her.

I started Formula when ds was three days old...
Not entirely by choice but it did work out the best in the end, but that's another story....:)

I BF DD for 9 months and then FF, in that time she had EBM on the occasion.

He also has had EBM. Twice, first time being when i had cracked bleeding nipples in the first few weeks, and then the other night when i went to the JT concert :D .

Then has been BF since (he's now 9 1/2 months).

With my son I breast fed first few weeks- then as he would only ever feed off of left side I Expressed and fed him, then I expressed and BF and topped up with FF. Then after mastitus, wen to full FF. And was very :)

:hugs: Hang in there sweetie, I know exactly how you feel, it will get better with time, however long it may seem to take, it will get better:hugs: .

And here's :smiliedance: :smiliedance: to all the mums feeding their babies however it may be, LOVE HUGS and KISSES are what they need most, and there are definitely a lot being given to our bubs here.

I chose other as DS has been mostly NG tube fed EBM. I am now happy to anounce though that he is now back on oral feeds!
