Hi,

DP and I (actually mainly me) are starting to get ideas together for our wedding :yelclap:

Just wondering if anyone can recommend anywhere for a ceremony, reception or places that do both that don't cost the world!!

We are looking at having about 60-80 people for a buffet and most places I have looked at are $100+ per head    around $80 per head would be nice... No preference on area as yet.

Thanks Guys

Mel xoxo

We got married at Coolibah Downs in Nerang. It cost $125 per head, which sounds heaps but that included the chapel,DJ,buffet dinner AND dessert, all the decorations, wishing well etc and a 4 hr alcohol package!
It was the most beautiful place, and the staff were amazing!!I am so glad we chose it!!

I got married at Nobby Beach Lookout and all I had to pay for was the celebrant. Any of the public parks are ok as long as you write to the council for permission. I also had a friend that was married on the Tallebudgerra River. That was loverly too.

I was lucky that I found a small place for my reception that did a seafood buffett(it was great) for 14.95 per person (not including alcohol) and 300 to decorate the tables. But they are closed now. Must have been too cheap lol. But perhaps look for a smaller company/restarant as I found them to be the best.

Try lakelands Golf Club in Robina from memory it is $80 a head I went to a wedding there last November, it includes all the chair sashes and decorations and table centrepieces and stuff.

I am so jealous! I want to get married and engaged first too! LOL!
