yes i have done it, the first 30 nappies of my diy stash!!!!!

took some time but they are done!!

My heart has just been crushed :( I just fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinal ly made a nappy for James with the PUL and suede from Zada's co-op and it took aver two hours and it doesn't fit!!! :hair:
So..........what pattern did you use :detective:

i have used a bumgenius nappy somehow i flattened it out! but i made them a litte bigger (i actually put a 1.5cm extra for the seam, and made the first one and it looked like it would last the 2 year old for about a week so i decided to make them a little bigger)

pockets, with microfleece inside rather than suede cloth, as i find the fleece heaps easier to clean!!

30 - well i have 2 of them in nappies, and at the moment the 30 last me 2 days so its not too bad, i have another 6 cut out ready to sew up after the machine is serviced, then i think i will have enough. its the inserts that i think i need more of!! there are enough to put one in each nappy, which is fine most of the time, but occassionally they decided t have a heavy wetting day and need 2! thus i run out! lol im thinking i need to get some bamboo and make some with that!

a while! lol
i planned one weekend to do all 30 of them, and the weekend ended and i think i had 10 done! lol

its been a slow process, i have been going since june school holidays!
