Hi, i live in Sydney's east. We have a 5 month old who seems to have intolerances at best, allergies at worst. He's on Zantac and Losec for severe reflux and has been diagnosed as allergic to cows milk protein. Despite my avoiding dairy (and wheat) he is still screaming, writhing when feeding and scratching his face. He also only passes a bowel motion every 5 days or so and seems very uncomfortable in the meantime. His reflux is now under control with the medication, which is a relief, but all in all, he is pretty miserable. :-(
I think we are going to have to see a specialist. I'm not adverse to natural therapists, but I'm wary of people who prey on new parents and don't really get results (I've already had a bad experience with a supposed children's chiropractor who was rubbish).
Any recommendations for a good dr or natural therapist who specialises in allergies would be gratefully received! Thanks :-)

Hi ladies,
My 17-month-old daughter is also intolerant/allergic to dairy and egg but seems to get the worst kind of acid in poo which gives her so much pain and nappy rash - even though I keep her off these things. I'd love to know any recommended specialists in Sydney (I live on the northern beaches but can travel) that are really thorough in checking her out. (The allergy hospitals have 9-12month waiting lists!)
Thankyou..
