Hypnobirthing

Hi there. I would like to find out more about hypnobirthing - can anyone recommend a good book?

There are quite a few methods around. I followed the Marie Mongan method and did a course which came with a book and CD. Select book stores sell them, and most can probably order them in for you. You can order them online too. Just try some searches on google and on here. There's been a number of threads about hypnobirthing on BubHub. I think the book I had was just called Hypnobirthing by Marie Mongan.

We used the Mongan Method too and it was fantastic! Can't recommend it highly enough.

I also have the Marie Mongan book "Hypnobirthing". I unfortnately had a emergency c-section, however I still used the breathing techniques for when I was scared - esp when they were putting the spinal in.

Try google. There are a few hypnotherapists who you can chat to and they prep you for the birth by doing some meditating with you.
