Go Swanny
Im watching and its very interesting indeed..
I dont think that i will get time to watch this 1, it doesn't matter to me who wins the debate I will always vote labor, I have since I was 18 yrs old, there is nothing that dear Mr Costello can do to change that.

there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance and when you've got trillions of australian dollars in your hands, I'll take the cocky diligent "arrogant" one who has shown us the money everytime!
No suprise here Swan was AWESOME!!!!!
:yelclap: :yelclap: :yelclap: :yelclap: :yelclap: :yelclap:
FAR more convincing than Costello.

Didn't watch the debate, but Adore, the thing is, Costello HASN'T shown anyone the money... he just hides it away for... well... for a rainy day perhaps? :p

Well that is your opinion, to me he is pure smugness, oozing with arrogance....and congratulations if he has shown you the money, and that has made you happy. It is not something that I live for.:)

Some people may have done well out of the mining boom, good on them, but I know thousands of families haven't....I will be voting with them mind.

Swanny has never been in the seat...So how can anyone judge....
And what happened to the promise of "i'll keep interests rates at an all time low"?
We have had 5 of them since....
Costello is full of broken promises and always will be...

I know it is a joke to you, but that is at the very core of who I am, and I genuinly care how the 'little' people of this world are fairing. It is not a term I use lightly...I mean it. :)

No, I think you have taken my post the wrong way. We are a single income family and get by, we stuggle wit bils from time to time but my kids are happy and healthy, my children are fed and clothed....there are just bigger issues for me, I am not interested in dying rich, I have much bigger personal goals.:) The whole 'give me more money' thing just doesn't motivate me.

are you talking about the surplus??
It is a good example isn't it.
If we all stashed 1% away for a rainy day then we wouldn't have this huge credit card debt, because we are not spending, we are saving!
Therefore keeping inflation low and maybe house prices will go DOWN again.

Well, I'm investing in my DD's future, you can read into that anyway you like. I'm a SAHM, like I said, we don't have a money tree!!!

I think the problem is that it is tough to convey your meaning in the written form as it always sounds like you are saying that everyone else doesn't care.

I am actually not reading into anything in regards to your life. You are free to feel, think and vote how ever you want. I was only responding to your quote in which you quoted me where you brought up the money issue...thats all. :)

Yeah I do understand that, but when I say it, I do mean it, I can't think or feel for anyone else, I can only give my opinion. I honestly think that 'most' people care about the welfare of others.

Of course i do! Im a Liberal voter!!!!:laughing::laughing::laughing:
And no worries!
Costello is in denial that we have a housing affordability crisis. So getting by on a "maybe" by voting Libs is a bit iffy.
Costello fell short of substantial answers for real problems, instead he used plenty of rhetoric.
