Hi Girls,
I am so sorry I have been so slack in updating, reading your posts etc, but I have been on strict bedrest for most of the last 5 weeks.
In my last update to you all, I told you how Eden isn't growing as fast as Cohen and they are quite concerned about that.
I have had to be monitored quite regularly to see how things are going. My last ulstrasound showed that they are both doing well (everything is normal) but they are both small, especially Eden. Plus there looks like a slight, minimal tear in and my waters are sllloooooowly leaking.
I am going to be put on steriods to help they babies develop quickly and will probably have the bubs within the next 2-3 weeks, which will make them 10.5-11 weeks prem.
Needless to say I am absolutely freaking out, but I know I have to keep calm. Hopefully over the next couple of weeks, they will grow a little and their lungs will develop more!
We have a great support network and I know we will be fine. But Zane and I are so concerned they are going to be born way to early.
Will keep you posted on everything!
I hope you are all doing well and I am thinking of all of you and hope you and your bubbas are doing really great!
Love
Nic

I just want to wish you all the best and let you know that my DD was born 11 weeks early and she turns 3 next week. She has no problems what so ever and is in fact a very smart girl for her age.
The care premmie babies get these days is amazing.

It is great to hear from you Nic. I was wondering how you were going...
I really hope your lovely little babies stay put for as long as possible! I'm sure they will be fine no matter what happens. It is so amazing what the doctors can do these days.
Good luck & huge hugs to all of you. I hope you will be able to keep us updated over the next few weeks!
I was just thinking about you the other day...
Hope those little bubbas stay put for as long as possible, and that you are able to cope with such a stressful time.
I can't believe one of our Feb mammas is so close to giving birth

:hugs: It would be a very stressful time.
Also just wanted to let you know that I have a friend thats twins had the same thing. The boy was a lot bigger than the girl.
She was very closely monitored, and from half way through her pregnancy was having wekly ultrasounds, then at 28 weeks went to 3 times a week, so mon, wed, fri she had ultrasounds and doc visits on the tue, thurs.
She ended up making it to 34weeks,to the day. They were in hospital a few weeks, but just required closer monitoring, they were very healthy. and ended up being a good size girl was 5p2, boy was actually 6p13.

Thanks for your kind thoughts girls.
We advise been advised that these bubbas are going to be born sooner rather than later and we are now scheduled for a c section at 30.5 weeks (26 November), that is if I make it that far. It really depends on the twins. If they aren't looking good it will happen earlier!
At least I know, that by 26 November, I will of had them one way or another. Its all very real now... and scary!
Will keep you posted on the happenings...
